Great staff and very nice place overall, especially the onsen was great. But the food was bad. And there’s nowhere else to eat at this location after 16.00 afaik. If you go here, bring your own food. You’re better off with 7-eleven snacks than with the overpriced tiny TV meals that the “restaurant” offers. Also the room had no working ac. Temperature was fine but humidity was 100. Pricing was not that transparent either, our +1 additional guest cost us more than the room itself but hotels app couldn’t tell to us. So it would’ve been cheaper for us to get two rooms than accommodate whole group in same room. Don’t get me wrong, the staff and place is lovely and exactly what the images tell, but be prepared with your own catering.

部屋やホテル自体はキレイでした。ホテルのレストランは微妙で場所が不便なところにあるため、周辺に飲食店も無かった為、バスで少し移動したところの飲食店へ行きました。英語しか話せないスタッフもおり、完全に外国の方向けのホテルでした。スタッフの方はいい方でしたが、日本人には少し物足りないと思います。英語表記では温泉とありますが、お風呂は温泉では無かったと思います。泊まるところだけと割り切ればよいかもしれません。

全体的にきれいな施設で、ペットも宿泊可能で価格もお手頃な点は良いと思います。予約制の露天風呂ですが、温泉ではないと思います。確かに日本語で温泉の文字はなく、露天風呂、英語でonsenと記載されていたので嘘ではないのかもしれませんが。。箱根の温泉に入りたかったので、ちょっと残念でした。あと、部屋のテレビが地上波が映りませんでした。YouTubeなどは見れましたので、まあ良かったです。

Ceci devait etre l'étape plaisir du voyage, nous avions reservé cet hotel beaucoup plus cher que les autres hotels que nous avons reservés au Japon, en esperant avoir une experience un peu plus "deluxe", mais nous avons éte décus. - L'equipement mis a disposition des clients pour se restaurer etait sale et sentait mauvais (et particulierement le micro-ondes) - La chambre laissait a desirer et etait tres basique, le onsen etait agreable mais la douche n'etait pas presentable (tapis de bain non-remplacé et tout mouillé donc inutile) - Nous avions fait une demande en amont de notre arrivée pour un horaire d'onsen specifique qui nous avait ete confirme par message et au final en arrivant ceci n'avait pas ete respecte et nous avons du nous conformer avec le seul horaire restant - Pas de douche dans la chambre Bref, ce qui devait etre l'etape plaisir a fini par etre la plus decevante. La seule raison pour laquelle je ne mets pas 1 etoile est parce que le personnel etait aimable

Malgré un service impeccable et un personnel tres accueillant, le sejour reste assez decevant. L'ambiance generale correspond plus a celle d'une auberge de jeunesse qu'a un hotel. On ne peut avoir acces a un onsen qu'en le reservant et le bain est tres limité ( et pas toujours vraiment propre!). Le prix pratiqué a cette periode de l'annee ( o bon) est excessif.

Typisk japansk hotel med tynde madrasser på gulvet, lavt bord og stole uden ben - ikke beregnet til høje eller kraftige mennesker. Ingen bad på værelset, men nede i kælderen. Onsen-badet er dejligt. Maden - aftensmad og morgenmad er meget kedeligt, og aftensmaden i meget små portioner. Personalet er meget venligt og servicemindet.

The room was very nice, has a balcony, television, some smaller closets, tatami matress, a middle size table with floor chairs and futons. The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothers us, was our entry room door, it was very loud while opening, we think it needs some oiling, but besides that, everything was very pleasent.

As of July 2025 the private onsen are BRAND NEW, the staff told me they just redid them . Do not different than the photos online, but still extremely comfortable. This place is excellent, the staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and so quiet. Very good value

せっかくの箱根なのに、お風呂の自由があまりきかなかった。家族風呂を使用する1回のみしか温泉につかれず、何度も入りたかったので不満です。部屋もそんなに大きくなく、人数押し込まれた感があります。建物自体も古く、掃除も行き届いているわけではない。従業員さんが外国の方なので、日本人向けではないんだろうと推察できる旅館でした。食器の使い方、案内表示、サービス内容、日本人がテコ入れを全くしてない感じがしました。ただ、外国の方ではありましたが、従業員さんはとても心を砕いてくださってるのがわかり、食事もとても柔軟に対応していただいた。それはとても感謝です。でも申し訳ないけど、抹茶と煎茶は全く違うものなんです～！食後は煎茶が飲みたかった…

Onsen was excellent. But they only have private onsen outdoors. No extra onsen. We loved how it was close to Lake Ashi, but if that's not the only place you are going... transportaiton may become a problem. This location is more than 50 bus stops from the train station. You pass all of the local areas and stores. This location has strong Onsen smell, and our room had a broken faucet... It was okay but we will not use this location for our next visit. Dining option is only at this hotel as you can't find anyting near by, and although their food was good, it seemed expensive for what you get. But again, perfect for a short 2-day trip of Lake Ashi and ropeway and some time in Onsen. That's all we did and could do as it was very cold and snowing when we visited.

This is a traditional ryoken located in a tucked away area. We took a taxi to get there because it was raining but were able to leave by bus. The private onsen was lovely, big and beautifully built. We slept really well in the comfortable tatami room and futon bed.

We had an amazing stay here! The staff was so helpful and accommodating for any of our needs or questions. They do have a limited food menu at the hotel but it was absolutely delicious! We ate on site both nights. The private onsen was fabulous and we were able to use twice daily. The floor mats were incredibly comfortable and we slept better here than most of the big hotels we stayed at in Tokyo. It took a little planning getting here via public transit but very much doable to get from here to Hakone and onward not having a private vehicle. This was our favorite stay in Japan.

Our stay was great, it was a beautiful and quiet place. The Onsen itself was perfect. I think the only downside was the food was just ok. We were expecting more food options in the area, but when we realized there wasn’t anything close by, we ate at the hotel, and the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The breakfast was decent and they give you a lot of food. The dinner though, I’m pretty sure the pizza I had was microwaved. The staff were great and were very nice. We will probably stay here again in the future.

Tout était bien sauf qu’il n’y avait pas de restaurant. La seule nourriture proposée était une minuscule foccacia vraiment pas bonne. Aucun restaurant proche, il fallait faire une grande marche et tout était fermé! on aurait aimé être prévenus et apporter nos provisions. Le onsen privatif était super. La chambre grande et les futons confortables.
