The rooms had a smell and were very small. It did not say when booking we would have to pay for parking. It did not say the pool was not in service. And there were homeless people sleeping on the benches outside. Did not feel very safe!

Great hotel. Good location easy walking to everything. The pool sadly wasnt open so thay was rubbish as it did look lovely. If i went to memphis again i would book here . Staff were friendly and helpfull. Rooms were spacious.

We were looking forward to using the pool and pool deck. I understand the pool was not open yet, but the deck area was not accessible for the expected use. It is a perfect location for sunset and viewing of the bridge lightshow after sunset. We and other guests we spoke to were very disappointed with these unavailable amenities.

Sink water pressure was low, but not horrible. The rooftop pool that was advertised was not filled. I wish that would have been stated that the pool was not ready. The rooftop was dirty and not pleasant to relax and sit to enjoy the view.

Advertises a pool and it hasn’t been in operation for months. It’s the reason we chose the hotel. Breakfast was decent though and the staff are awesome just the building and rooms need some tlc

The room was just right for our family. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good. The only complaint was the pool. It was closed. One of the main reasons we choose this hotel was for the roof top pool with a view of the pyramid. My kids were quite disappointed that the pool was closed.

Only 1 elevator working when we got there. Then the other elevator stopped working when we came back with our dinner had to walk up to the 10 floor along with others. It was terrible.

We were pleasantly surprised with the level of comfort for this stay. The pool is on a terrace, and the breakfast was ample and had a good variety. Staff was professional and accommodating, if not super welcoming.

The beefs were extremely small the parking garage was old and not big truck friendly. One thing I can say is the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. After the second night we asked if we could park up front because we damaged a rim trying to get out of the tight garage exit

Staff were rude. Bathroom was filthy. Breakfast was horrible. Food trays were empty Coffee empty no forks. Asked staff and they completely ignored me. Asked front desk and was told that’s not my department ask the kitchen staff. Then asked for a receipt at checkout and was told there computers were down. Asked for a manager and was told there was not one on site. Never again. Worst stay ever

Unexpected parking fees on property, not clean, reserved two queen beds and got two full sized beds with mattresses that needed to be thrown away a LONG time ago. Bathroom floor and carpet very soiled. Very uncomfortable old musty smell, smoking right by door entrance causing it to smell like a smoking facility. I can’t believe this place got such high reviews, it was pretty bad.

Bitten by bedbug in room 108 nov.1 @ 4:30 a.m. Called the front desk and the desk clerk seemed uninterested in the issue. They offered another room 1511 Im sure it was a suite. At 5 a.m. and we just came at one a.m from dinner and basketball game. This cut our Memphis stay to a minimum. I called the General manager Sunday and as thur nov.the sixth there has not been any reply from general manager. Im seeking a total refund from this experience. The check-in experience was great! Then, we asked for an extra blanket and pillow. We were told that they didn’t have any when we called the front desk. The next day, a very friendly gentleman on the cleaning staff said they indeed did have extra and retrieved those for us. Our duvet cover appeared to have a couple hairs on it so we removed it from our bed. The rest of the bed coverings were fine. We also found a pill and several beads on the floor so it appeared that it wasn’t vacuumed very well. This hotel is in a great location for walking and/or short uber rides.

THERE WERE BED BUGS IN OUR ROOMS. We talked to the front desk and they didn't seem to care about our concern. We were told that the manager was going to reach us about our findings, but never did. We traveled with small children was one beg bug was too many, let alone the handful of ones we found. So sleepless night trying to make sure kids were safe. Parking structure seemed that it took place in the movie set of Robocop that everything was very sketchy with bad light, the corridors that connected the packing to the elevators were pitch black, so you did not know if there were stairs or, to my surprise, puddle of smelly water.

Check in was quick. The rep was very friendly and helpful. We received good advice when we said we wanted to walk to dinner . Our room was large, comfortable and well appointed. Parking was safe and in a garage underneath the hotel. Breakfast was above average. The hotel is right downtown, within walking distance of restaurants, the river, and some sites. All in all, would stay here again.

Great desk clerks gave valuable tips on local attractions. AC worked very well. Sink area needs to add a towel bar. Internet was slow and didn’t work at all sometimes. Room was comfortable with a nice view. Elevators were fast. Breakfast was fabulous.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. Our only complaint was the noise….walls and doors were thin and we could hear our neighbors. There’s also what we assumed was a train that came by periodically with a loud horn that could be heard inside. Overall, was a very nice stay.

Comfort Inn Downtown Memphis is on the top of my list when it comes to hotels in Memphis to stay. You will not regret staying here if you want to stay in the Downtown area. You get cleanliness, good complimentary breakfast, good consistent housekeeping, one of the safest hotels I've seen Downtown with good working plumbing and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! not to mention the closeness to popular Downtown attractions. There are two Ladies at the service desk: Tequa and Leslie. These two were great. They took great care of my wife and I. Their customer service is what you want to experience, they are naturally kind and professional and care about your comfort. I feel these two and all the staff I've interacted with there deserve a high raise and have a good welcoming spirit and culture. I recommend this hotel without a thought.

The front desk worker Asia was Amazing she deserves Five Stars by herself and also Ms.Sharon the breakfast attendant as well was very welcoming but the other lady that works back there with the litle pony tail needs to go ASAP her attitude both days I went to breakfast she had a attitide with all the guest and I will report her until something change before I visit again!!PERIOD she was BAD

When I told the check in staff, I've never been to Memphis before they gave me a room on the Riverside, which I did not know what that meant, but truly enjoyed seeing the view of the river. We also appreciated the safe garage as we're doing across the country trip in Corvette and felt very safe and secure in their parking garage. And it was an easy walk to Beale street

All employees make this place a positive experience! Friendly and helpful. Specially the ladies that serve breakfast, they are both hard working and pleasant! The property needs to be updated, staff tries to make the best, but sofa and rugs must be updated.( our sofa was very dirty) Housekeeping did a great job with what they have. Location is very desolated… wondering who works in all of those buildings, never saw employees coming and going anywhere during rush hour. A few people walking, some renovations are being done around but we didn’t feel safe walking. Hotel is in a central location, we decided to drive vs. walking. It was a great budget hotel for Elvis week, and breakfast choices were good.

Great hotel! Very clean and comfortable. Had a rooftop pool that looked out over the Mississippi River and the Bass Pyramid. Right off of I-40 and about a 10-15 minute walk to Beale St.

Staff was nice but they played music in their break/work room so loudly all night. Food ran out both mornings. Garage is sketchy and so is the street and park across the street. People screaming at you when walk at night. Drug deals at the park and cars doing burn outs. Do not get the bottom floor rooms. Windows on street poeple can walk up to and the lock is flimsy Hallways had a mildew smells However the inside of the rooms were clean and staff was nice. Pool was locked early Its a city corner so they have a security guard inside the lobby which was nice Stay on a higher level not the ground

The hotel was in a convenient location off the interstate and close to downtown activities. We like to walk and could do that to most sites we wanted to see. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet - and the onsite parking was a nice perk. The breakfast was good, but often ran out or had limited options by the time it was over. Kudos to the staff who were very helpful and friendly.
