Really beautiful art deco hotel will all the amenities you could want. It's very conveniently located just a walk to Pikes Place Market, downtown, the waterfront, many excellent restaurants, (including Riders in the hotel), the Seattle Convention Center, the Paramount Theatre. Our room was very comfortable, with beautifully updated details. Service was impeccable. Appreciate the complimentary wine in the evenings!

Great location. Right next to a parking garage for more affordable parking options. Front desk was so kind and provided a microwave so we could heat up leftover take out. Gym was small but adequate with only 3 people on a Saturday morning.

Centrally located in a busy commercial & shops district. Only valet parking available for $55/day; however public parking lot adjacent to the hotel offered cheaper daily rate. There was a destination fees $22/day that will apply at checkout. Room amenities include coffee & teas. Ice will be provided upon request. Small gym was available on the 2nd floor. Male staffs were friendly at check-in; female staffs were curt & borderline rude when contacted via telephone regarding room upgrade.

Really nice for a first time traveling alone! The staff was great, printed my boarding pass, and had the microwave ready for me on the required day. The room was clean, and I would recommend the hotel—I had a wonderful stay! The only thing the hotel could improve is the gym, as it was basic (dumbbells, treadmill/bike) but lacked a squat rack or pulley system. However, that was okay! :)

Perfect! Just in town one night for a concert at Lumen Field. This place was just right! Short walk to great food, even walkable to the stadium and back! Also such a nice surprise to have a public parking ramp right next door!

They charge $79.99 per night for parking + an additional $11.00 in tax. $90!! This is pure greed. It’s as though you’re being punished for staying there. It’s shameful that they charge their guests that much. Yes, there’s a garage next door but they did a pretty good job convincing us our truck may not fit in that garage. The room was very small (could barely walk around the bed) and if you have mobility issues, you will struggle. The bathroom had a constant smell of sulfur. And 1 of the 2 elevators were broken. There are lots of other options in the area, and I wouldn’t stay there again given the choice. I

Beautiful property! Very friendly staff in all areas from the front desk to coffee shop to restaurant. Room was nice and clean! We were there during a super hot weekend so the air conditioner struggled to make the room cold. The bathrooms while really nice are quite small. There’s little or no counter space. But, the water pressure is excellent!

The room was nice enough (small). It was cute and well decorated and I liked having the nespresso machine in the room for a quick coffee! The first room we were given I turned on the tv and the screen was cracked/broken and there were like cat scratches on the leather of the headboard which really cheapened the room. I called the front desk and they sent someone to fix it, then had us into a different room of the same caliber. This one oddly had the same cat scratches on the headboard. The TV worked this time but the remote power button didn't work so you had to turn the tv on manually which was only mildly annoying. Other than that the room and shower were clean but the cleaning lady didn't come and make our beds or bring new towels or anything while we stayed for the two days, but maybe this is just something that they do in Canada. I liked that at 5pm they give you a glass of complimentary wine. I'm pregnant but my husband got to have my glass, so he got to try both white and red. The location is kind of sketchy at night. On the way back to the hotel from the baseball game I saw people smoking what I am assuming was meth and it was 10:00pm, but I can hardly blame the hotel for that because I think that's just the city in general. Likely will try somewhere different next go around.

Hotel Theodore was an excellent boutique property. The hotel lounge and rooms were clean and beautiful. The art and furniture throughout the hotel was charming. The gym was well appointed. The hotel is conveniently located. All of the attractions and dining options we had planned were within walking distance. The room and bathroom were small, but we were able to manage (we stayed in a deluxe room). I did not have a car, so I can’t speak to that experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Incredibly tiny room and bathroom, probably smallest I have ever seen, so keep that in mind if you are carrying a lot of luggage-there is nowhere to put it. Other than that, clean room in a great location, helpful staff, good view, valet parking was nice.

The hotel is well-located within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Capitol Hill, and transport links to the Space Needle and MoPOP. It occupies an older building that has been modernized while maintaining an aesthetic theme that honors its historical roots. Our room was comfortable and clean, albeit on the smaller side and somewhat cramped. I suspect I'm not the only guest who has inadvertently bumped their shin on the strangely oversized wooden bed frame. Overall, the stay was a positive experience, but I'll be seeking accommodation with more spacious rooms for my next visit to Seattle.

The property was well located, the rooms clean, quiet, roomy and in good condition. The bathroom room was very small and the shower extremely tight plus it leaked lots of water all over the floor. Extremely poor layout. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The hotel employees were always kind, happy and helpful. They are this hotels biggest asset!

Great. Claire and Kristi greeted us upon check in with a smile. Very nice. Room is comfortable. Just a very nice stay. The only negative was the hotel restaurant. Avoid at all costs. It is very expensive, the food so so, but the staff well let’s just say leaves alot to be desired.

Booked a delux King was given a room with 2 double beds. This was our 30 wedding anniversary and in that room we couldn’t even sleep in the same bed. Called the front desk and was told there was some damage done to the king room so that’s what we got. It took arguing and a manager and the best we got was a queen room. Hotel was nice but will never stay there again and will not tell my friends/family to try it

Evening receptionist was cool at best. When I called the front desk for Wi-fi info after we checked in, I was told she had emailed it to me. I advised her that I did not want to turn my phone on at 11.30pm (which would incur me $14 CAN ) for 30 minutes of service. She advised me to try a laptop….which I did not have with me. Same receptionist was confused about ordering a cab and finding extra capsules for the coffee maker…it all seemed like such a chore to he. After returning home I had to email and ask for reversal of the hold they put on my credit card when we arrived. That took a week. Then was surprised to find destination fee on my credit card - $30+taxes USDper night. We were not advised of this at time of booking, check in or check out. Hotel was scrupulously clean. Bedding was superb. Bathrooms smaller than on a cruise ship. One tiny glass shelf for any toiletries etc. coffee shop and restaurant had wonderful food but tremendously expensive!$30+ CAN for a sandwich, yoghurt and latte. Riders restarauntwas $175 CAN for 2 drinks and scallop entree. Definitely an expensive place to stay.

The property and the room were fabulous. No pool or hot tub but the room was fabulous. Staff were not up to par. There was no warm greeting at check in, although they were able to get us checked in early. The parking valets were running around, not holding doors for guests, not allowing guests to leave the elevator first. The staff at the bar were not well organized, it took us 20 minutes after being seated to get a drink order in. At check out there was no personal touch. From a staffing perspective the property did not match its start rating.

Great location/clean room near all places and walkable to pike place. Very quiet room with coffee maker. The bell man was so nice and bring all my luggage’s to my room. He was very polite. The front desk gentle was nice, but chatting to other staff & I did not feel he wanted to help me so much when I asked about the recommendations of the restaurant. I just wish i could feel taken care of a little more.

Service was horrible. No room cleaning unless you ask for. I needed a meal one day, called the restaurant no one answered. Called front desk they told me to use the QR code. There was none in the room. When I finally got one downstairs took me to a website that was not working. They sent someone to my room who said would go talk to the restaurant and would come back. I waited for an hr. No one showed up. I just crossed the street to get a sandwich.. easier. When I got there I watched a homeless person walk in, grab what they wanted and walk out as the owner screamed.

Check-in was a breeze, and perks from my hotels.com membership (free room upgrade, $19 credit at the hotel restaurant) were readily offered. Valet parking was swift and simple and they kept our bags for us after checkout when our business at the convention center ran past. checkout time. Room was very reasonably priced for location and view. Highly recommended.

Hotel Theodore is located in the downtown area, which makes it accessible to shopping and sightseeing venues. It is clean and has wonderful staff. Hotel Theodore is prefect for one person, but a bit small for sharing. Overall, my stay was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.

Loved the vibe of this hotel it was very nice, clean and the decor was very cool. Loved that it was within walking distance of Pike Place Market and some shopping which we took advantage of both. There is some homeless near the hotel where we saw people doing drugs, so it felt a little unsafe at times, especially walking our dog in this area as we were concerned about her picking something unsafe off the ground and ingesting it. Overall very happy with the hotel and its proximity to fun and interesting places to visit in the downtown Seattle area.

We had a comfortable stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, which made it easy to walk around. We were a bit taken aback by limitations on certain amenities though. E.g., room service isn’t available until 11 am, and housekeeping is by request only, with some warning to guests that full-service may require 24 hours notice and would be on a first come, first served basis.

Beautiful shower, bathroom, great huge clean bedroom. The restaurant RIDER serves great chilean seabass and crudo seafood plus wonderful servers and receptionist! Across Starbucks and close to Alder & Ash breakfast buffet, Sheraton Grand! So convenient for a lady like me having solo trips.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in a while. I loved the ambience and service, friendly staff and attentive to guests needs. The cafe, the bar, & restaurant were outstanding and it is centrally located. They have complimentary wine from 5-6pm. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Hotel Theodore before and elders very pleased with our experience. We were less fortunate in our experience with this stay, however. There was no fan in the bathroom—and if there was one that was linked to the lights there was no indication of it working. When an attendant came to look he just said, fan? No… we then ordered room service from Rider, which was regretful. Not only did they forget half of the most expensive entree ( the pork chop came with no sauce which I selected with the order and no fingerling potatoes) and the salad was missing one of the components. When I called the front desk to resolve the issue they transferred me to the restaurant which nobody answered. The room service line on the phone in our room went to a dead line and there was no way to contact the restaurant or room service through the online ordering application, really unfortunate for a 175.00 room service bill. On top of this, when we ordered food to pick up from the lobby cafe in the morning, we arrived at the cafe to find that the online ordering doesn’t work and they didn’t have the menu items we ordered anyhow. Might forgo the Theodore next time.

A wonderful option when in Seattle, super walkable location to the market and all other spots, hotel is beautiful, stylish, super clean and comfortable, room was super! Plus the restaurant downstairs is superb!!
