Not having valet parking available for hotel guests. The valet parking is a first come, first served. Even for none hotel guests. Had to find parking for a little while because of the time we checked in. There was no disclaimer about valet parking. Other than that, stay was wonderful; rooms clean and staff wonderful and worked with us about the parking issue.

Stayed for one quick night. Big hotel, lots of old charm. I had to go over the river and thru the woods to get to my room, so good thing I like to walk. The gyms, however, were tiny. They’re two small rooms on different floors and if there’s more than 3 people inside, it’s very cramped.

My husband and I have stayed at this property several times since we were married there 15 years ago. We’ve stayed in several different rooms throughout the property. However, this room, which was supposedly an upgrade was one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed at. The fireplace had battery operated candles and half of them didn’t work. When laying on the bed, you could reach over and touch the bathroom. While in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder is literally right next to the bowl hitting you when you sit on it. There was a seem down the middle of the wall. And the room felt like it might’ve been a closet converted into a room. I could swear that the website said that there was room service, but they actually was not. The restaurant that is connected to the hotel was understaffed making a quick meal over an hour. I will say, though that the staff was extremely friendly. They were also very helpful even the poor waiters that we dealt with the restaurant were super nice. I’m not sure that we will ever stay at this hotel again. It is definitely not the hotel that it used to be.

For the price they charge there could atleast be a pool or hottube and a little more update to the rooms. Not much sound proofing at all could hear the tv’s in the room and hallway.

Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Friendly staff. Two gyms located within the room hallways on different floors, and there is no restroom close to them. You need to move to another floor for that and it can be a bit tiring. A bit disappointing to have a 65.00 charge for overnight parking. Thirdly there are two towers and in our case our parties got divided up and that was not ideal. Overall the hotel is great and I would definitely recommend it, but keep these things in mind.

Everything was great! valet parking was super easy. We did have one an issue where a huge roach ran over my foot as I was walking to the bathroom in our room. My husband tried to squash it, but it ran under the door and out into the hallway. Could have done without that. We shoved a towel under our door for the remainder of the night. I know it’s a busy city and roaches are par for the course, but I’ve never had that happen in other Seattle hotels.

Hotel is centrally-located in a very walkable area. Friendly + helpful staff, clean room, extra effort is given to being eco-friendly. Would give highest rating if the room had a chair to sit in. At $400 a night a chair for reading or tv should be a given.

Pretty run down honestly. Lots of grout in the shower, for example. Perfume place in the lobby that reeks whenever you walk in, so beware if you are sensitive to odours. Good location if you want to visit Pike Place, etc. Service was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was nice, clean and very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and very helpful. Several restaurants in the area, and just a couple blocks from the Washington State Ferry terminal, Waterfront Park, Pioneer Square, and Pike Place Market. I’ll definitely stay here the next time I’m in Seattle!

The room was beautiful itself, the bed was very comfortable and it smelled great in the room. The staff were also extremely kind and friendly. We really disliked the shower though. The lay out was quite unfortunate because although it looked nice it was not functional. The shower doesn’t have a door because it’s open concept but that resulted in us having to use the lowest shower setting to avoid splashing out of the shower to the sink but even then the whole bathroom floor got wet every time we showered. The room phone was also filthy which was gross.

We stayed four nights in August and had a lovely time at this boutique hotel. The room itself was simply decorated but spacious and comfortable. Was pretty cool to have a view of the ferris wheel lit up at night. The hotel is a short walk to many restaurants and attractions, with Pioneer Square on one end and Pike Place on the other end. We felt very comfortable walking every night up and down First Ave. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The rooms are gorgeous! Get a room with a fireplace—it’s a suite big enough to be an apartment. Every amenity is available—full size bottles of shampoo, etc., two TVs, barn doors separating the rooms. Best I’ve seen yet.

Was assigned one of the smallest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Supposedly a deluxe room with desk and chair. Could barely fit one small uncomfortable chair in the room. Poor weird lighting but comfortable bed.

Slightly dated property in terms of rooms and decor. Furniture quite old, thought not sure if we were located in an old part of the building. Hidden fees for resort charges which weren’t really justified and should be included as standard (WiFi and access to gym). Bookstore cafe service great but very expensive. I found the reception staff quite rude not only to myself but to other guests, and found erroneous charges applied to account and I was challenged when I told them I didn’t take up valet parking. Great location however, just not a 4 star hotel.

Everything was great about our short stay, first time at this hotel. The only complaint is that the front desk at check in did a sort of hard sell on upgrading our room (for a cost) and did not honor my Gold Status and the promotion that Hotels.com offered when I booked. We did not accept the added cost for an upgrade as we were only a one night stay. However, upon checking out, the agent actually charged us the upgrade cost. Something that should have been free due to the offer the hotel made through Hotels.com. Aside from this, it is a great hotel, clean, comfortable, well located. Would stay again.

Good location for the waterfront attractions and the hop on hop off bus stop. Plenty of dining options nearby. Seattle is very hilly and they are very steep so having easy access to these areas was important.

The Alexis is in the perfect location, close to Pioneer Square and Pike Place Market. The waterfront is a block away. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a great place to stay.

Wonderful hotel! The location was excellent, and we could walk everywhere. Only about 1-2 blocks from Pikes Place, and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. Also, easy walk to the baseball stadium. The staff were very friendly and kind. The room was huge, and very clean. There was also a great bar/restaurant attached to the hotel on the main street. I loved this hotel!

Stayed for 3 nights staff were always welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean, however hallways leading up to the rooms did smell a bit off like an old antique. Other than that the location of the hotel a convenient walk to Pikes Market and to the waterfront.

Air conditioning was nice and cool which we liked; room was extra large, clean and comfortable, except the sofa in our room was so low and the bottom cushion was flat and clearly worn. Would've liked a more comfortable sofa to lounge on. Service at the front desk was always friendly and helpful; attached bar/restaurant was lacking good customer service, plus they didn't have a few items we ordered two days in a row. Felt like they were disorganized. Would stay again, but probably won't go to attached bar/restaurant again.

Great location between Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, and the Waterfront. A couple blocks from the light rail station, Seattle Art Museum, etc. The bonus was tasty cocktails and food in the hotel bar and restaurant. The rooms were well-appointed as well.

Everything was wonderful about my stay. Beautiful, comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only disappointment was that the adjacent bar/restaurant was unreliable. It was not always open as advertised. It would have been nice to have a breakfast availability on site.

Property was the perfect location. Staff were amazing and includes housekeeping. Their kitchen was being remodeled so that was a downer but everything else worked. Hotel also had an uninviting smell that included our bedsheets. Concierge was amazing and I would return just for their hospitality and feedback.
