Homegate Inn And Suites Collierville TN

Inexpensive and convenient motel with outside entrances to rooms. Located near multiple good fast food and sit-down restaurants. Breakfast provided not very good. Bath had no safety bars or mat- dangerously slippery. Stained tiles gave floor and bath dirty appearance but housekeeping kept everything very clean daily. Fire in another unit caused anxiety on last day, but was checking out anyway.

The kitchenette consisted of refrigerator, a two eye, ceramic range, no oven, and a microwave. No laundry facilities. WiFi worked and there are a few shops and fast food nearby.

It’s always been clean, been staying there for about 4 weeks, they are updating rooms and outside since I’ve been there. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Old hotel but perfectly clean and convenient.

Did not provide luggage carts to help with getting luggage to the room. My room did not have parking at the door and I had to make 2 long trips with my luggage

The vending machines have taken my money on two different machines they need to be fixed. Overall, the place is cool. The rooms are comfortable. You have privacy. The birds are always chirping, which is a delight.

Two cereal choices good Ketchup….we southerners like it with our scrambled eggs We were there two nights…different hot choices to eat…a plus Was the orange drink Tang? Or some OJ? Hot water was cold, I had a tea bag in my Fanny pack, Do you have tea bags? No paper receipt upon checkout, I am older and like paper for my filing system for my income taxes Bed and linens great…did you know more and more hotels are providing one bath towel for customers? Shower head was awesome and the tub area was modern, very nice Hole in wall by my bed was not acceptable Bed very comfortable, I didn’t want to get up Train every night…no biggie….reminded me of home Repave your parking lot, clean the walkways Haven’t seen my receipt yet….so can’t comment on the price Overall a good experience if the price was good, haven’t seen my receipt yet All the employees were very nice and helpful I had not checked out and came back to the room, door wide open, do not disturb sign was removed from door, why? It was around 10:30…checkout was 11, beds stripped, too in both rooms Our boys were next door showering and getting ready to leave and their door was being opened as they were exiting, do not disturb sign on door and not 11 am yet, in fact much earlier the our ten thirtyish return to the room Loved the chandelier in lobby…nice size area for breakfast

The property seemed to be undergoing repairs. A grill outside of one room suggested it might be an extended stay place—no problem but a curiosity. Caught a whiff of weed from passing one door.

Parking lot was dirty. The toilet did not flush with the handle, we had to remove the top of the toilet. The tub was stained. The bedding was stained.

This hotel is perfectly adequate. If it's luxury you're looking for, you would be happier elsewhere, and you'd pay a much higher price. But the rooms are clean, the complimentary breakfast adequate, and the price is the best thing around. It is in a decent part of town. I felt safe walking at night. The staff are friendly. I'm much happier staying here and paying the price than I would be staying at a place that cost twice as much but had nicer sheets and towels and greater choice of breakfast foods.

Check in was unpleasant. Desk clerk was rude. Another lady was trying to check out as she went to her room said was too dirty to stay. Clerk argued with her that the room was clean and would not uncheck her or refund her. Room was dirty!!!! I stayed cause I really had no options. Cobwebs, dirty microwave, broken fridge, dirty coffee pot, stains on bedspread, pubic hair in tub, no clock, spiders killed three!! And more

My room smelled like piss the sink in the kitchen was broken bathroom door was dirty the couches were super dirty. Would never stay here again

I was unable to connect with the Wi-Fi. There was dirty water standing in the bathtub. The drain in the bathtub was dirty and the sink would back up. The stopper in the bathtub and the sink was broken. The breakfast bar had cold scrambles eggs and the biscuits were cold.

Didn't like: Roaches, we killed 8 in the 2 nights we were there. That is a deal killer for my wife. Tub constantly dripped water all night and day and when you start the shower it flows out of the wall next to the tub onto the floor. Noise, it faces a railroad track where the train does announce itself every pass, and the late one is around midnight. Free Wifi...without internet. No internet, the entire stay. Breakfast 6-9am featured the powdered eggs, sausage and make your own waffles, without a drop of syrup. And this was at 7:30am on a Friday. It is in a good area of town and shows up on the map as Days INN This must be a recent purchase by an Indian family who ran the desk, and was accomodating. Our first room lock didn't work and they changed us to another room quickly. Both had rusty lights and air grates in the bath. Both doors you could see light all the way around them and air came in. It was in the 30's at night so yes, that mattered. No, we'll never stay again.

Room was clean, nice firm mattress on metal platform, no sign of insects of any sort in the room. Free breakfast was adequate, they had my favorite waffle maker or self service. Dorm size refrigerator in room was great, microwave was nice, linens and pillows were perfect. Hotel is older and a bit rough but the price I paid was appropriate. I would stay here on my next trip.

You do not want to stay in this blood stained place. First impression of this place was ewwww. .Second, impression upon seeing the room was gross. Then I started looking around the room. Either the sheets had not been washed or they were super stained. I'm pretty sure there was a blood droplet, or some kind of grossness on the pillow, then found some more blood droplets on the lampshade. The chairs were absolutely disgusting. Pretty sure, the sink and mirror had never been wiped. And the last straw was the toilet, there is no way any of my family would you use that. I don't understand how lazy you have to be to let a hotel get this bad. Oh, they also tried to show us another room. It was almost as bad. I'm pretty sure there was blood in the bathtub. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever seen.

Checked into the hotel and there was a lady who came in twice due to issues with her room. Our room was clean and smelled fresh (non smoking room) when we got there. Bed was super firm. We woke up at 2:30am and our entire room smelled of weed. Went downstairs to the office to find the employee asleep behind the front desk. If I end up getting charged for someone else smoking, I will be raising hell. Also, it is right next to train tracks so every hour or two, wxpect to have a train whistle blowing. Not very impressed with the stay here.

The motel is like a prison cell. The bed is rock hard, the sheets are thin, there is no hot water, and the heat blows warm air. I'm better off sleeping in the rental. Checked out same day and went to a different hotel

Someone was smoking pot in their room. Loud train several times. Hard bed. Damaged bathroom door. Miserable stay.

Cleanliness is good but the equipment like tv and WiFi don’t work and no cooperation on fixing it.

Train goes by two to five times nightly and sounds like its in the room with you. Assault occurred right outside my room my last night with 911 and ambulance response. They were right outside my door. Bed was comfortable but cleanliness was so so.

Everything was good about the stay. Workers didn’t stay around the front desk very much. Waited 15 to 20 minutes to get a room key, and drop my room key off to check out. Also the shower head was broken so had to work with what we had.

I was on 2nd floor and there were maintenance men looking at me all the time didn’t feel comfortable !I had to ask front desk 3 x to clean my room and give me towels . You should also provide water and glass drinking glasses .

I was only there for one night but the staff was wonderfully accommodating. The full hot breakfast bar was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price.

The area is very nice, everything is very close, the place is very quiet, the room is cleaned every day, I liked it.

Breakfast was really good. Liked there was hot food. The second morning the coffee tasted old and reheated and there were some biscuits that should have been tossed as they were too hard to eat, others were fresh and tasty. The bed was very comfortable! A slight musty smell was in the room but improved with the AC on. I would say a good, inexpensive stay.

The condition of the building is very poor. There was water on the bathroom floor, the toilet leaks after each flush. There’s mold in the bathroom. Also, we didn’t expect good breakfast but, at least, hot coffee and water. It was cold, I requested more hot water but the new pot was also cold. We ended up having breakfast at BK that’s is across the parking lot.

We stayed one night, and there were no problems, just a few "bumps". The breakfast was mediocre: waffles were good, eggs were fried hard, sausage was almost done but a little bit toward uncooked, and sausage gravy was thin and runny. Coffee was good. The bed was comfortable, and the shower facilities and room were clean (that's an important thing for us) with plenty of hot water and water pressure. It had a full refrigerator, and even a stove-top (2-burner hotplate), but no dishes or pots or anything to use with it. Far enough from highways to be in a quiet neighborhood. If I could rate it accurately, I'd give it a 7.5 on a scale of 10.

We spent four days in this hotel and even though they had done some remodeling it was still run down. The free breakfast was a joke. Not worth the trip
