We had a basement room in one if the annexes in Hugh Street. Very Very hot all of the time and had to have air conditioning on a lot. Downside, very narrow staircase down so hard to take case up and down. Lots of mirrors which was great, actually had the desk/mirror and plug sockets in sync (so many hotels don’t) and beds were comfy. Great for Victoria Station. I would return but not in a basement room

We stayed in the basement and it was difficult to carry luggages in and out of stairs (no elevator). Other than that the Hotel location is excellent.

The room is small but it looks new and clean. The bed is also comfortable too. The people at check in counter is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is basic and few choices and also all the same every day. I am satisfied with the room but we got the room that is no elevator so we have to take the luggage into the room. You can ask them to help that is not a big problem.

The property was ok. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok and it had a good options. The room was small and you do have to go up steps to get to most units. So if you have multiple pieces or big heavy pieces this place will pose a challenge. Location was convenient as it was close to Victoria station( 5 min walk). Overall is was ok. It depends on what you like.

Overall I found the hotel to be very good and wonderfully well located half a block from Victoria Coach Station and two short blocks from Victoria Rail and Victoria Tube Stations. It was close to some theatres and restaurants. The property was freshly renovated and well maintained. It consists of four or five historic townhouses and an issue I had was that my building had no elevator and only steep, winding steps. The staff without hesitation carried my large luggage up and down but the configuration might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. I should have requested a lower level room. The breakfast was nicely served in the lobby but choices were very limited … definitely “continental. Rooms and the lobby had coffee and tea available all the time. Even the “double rooms” seemed small but the hotel had a lot of character and was very comfortable and clean with lots of hot water and great water pressure! I would return.

Two night stay with family. Rooms were clean and recently refurbished. We were across the road from main building. Lift to our floor (2nd), air-conditioning was good.All sockets had a USB A and C outlet. Shower and bathroom again clean and modern. Very close to Victoria Railway station (and underground) and the coach station, but not unduly affected by the traffic or trains. We could occasionally hear the.trains but not bothering us. Road traffic was not a problem either. Even with the window open, there was little ambient noise. Less than 20 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace. Breakfast was limited but totally adequate. Cereal, croissants, muffins, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea and coffee, toast plus a limited hot / cooked section. Service was excellent, the staff seemed happy to help at all times. The only negatives were the condition of the bedroom carpets and the size of the room and bathroom.

It was a very convenient location near Victoria station so we could explore the city in all directions from there. It was also easy to get to Heathrow for our flight. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was perfect for what we needed. Clean, comfortable, and big enough for three of us. And the towels were big and fluffy!

Very close to Victoria station where all sightseeing buses start. Room is very small, shower is tiny. Housekeeping didn't make up the room even when I was out most of the time that day. In the evening I called front desk asked for new towel, was told to wait for 15 minutes. Waited for one hour and called again before towels were delivered.

The train was very noisy, which disturbed our sleep. But the worst part was our room. The AC broke and they couldn’t fix it. Instead they offered fans but the temp in our room went from 25 to 31 degrees by morning. It was terrible and we couldn’t sleep

We chose this hotel because of proximity to Victoria Station and affordability. Room (no 512) is OK, but is situated between the entrance and an elevator. The walls are paper thin. You can feel and hear the passing trains, too. If you have an issue with sound, I would not recommend this hotel. There was also a row of homeless people sleeping in tents right next to the entrance.

the pictures of this property were very misleading once you arrive and see it in person. First, I want to say the front desk staff were extremely kind and very helpful getting us checking and checking out, storing our bags and getting us settled in. The hotel location is in a wonderful area, safe, and near a metro station if you can look past everything else. The room itself is very small, however this is the case with any room in Europe. Keep in mind if you have large luggage, it will be a struggle. The bed sheets were questionable if they were clean or not, there was tears in the comforter. The shower was not made for a real human and was extremely tight and small. The mattress was extremely painful to lay on and the pillows served no purpose as pillows. Once you got past all of the room issues, the wifi never stayed connected and all through the night, like other reviews mentioned you could hear the train going by, it felt like it was driving through your room. For the amount of money spent on this hotel, I was expecting a lot more from it.

The room is lovely painted and decorated. The room is small. When I sat small think cruise ship cabin size. It works just to sleep and leave. Warning if you are a light sleeper look for another hotel. There is no sound proofing and it sounds like the trains and metro go over the top of your room.

This hotel is right next to the train tracks and the whole room shakes and the sound from the trains is so LOUD you cant sleep expect between 1AM-4AM. Trains passes every 5 minutes. Never had an experience like this. Totally useless paying for a room here, could have slept on the streets just as well. They should write this in the description because this is way beyond acceptable. Real shame because the rooms are otherwise OK and staff is good.

The room was perfectly clean and the bed reasonably comfortable although the pillow was rather hard. The staff were very nice and friendly. However if you are a light sleeper this would not be the place for you to stay as the trains from Victoria start early and finish late so you are aware of the noise in the background.

The room was clean and perfectly adequate (apart from the pillow which felt like a block of wood). All the staff I came into contact with were very nice and friendly. However if you are thinking of booking here please be aware it is very close to Victoria Railway Station with trains running quite late into the night and beginning early the next morning. If you are a light sleeper you will be disturbed.

A really convenient central location. As a single room booking, the room was fairly small but had everything I needed for a quick overnight stay. I didn’t have any food so can’t comment on that. What most impressed me was the staff, really professional, friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the apartments, the service was excellent from the staff. The answered all questions, were helpful with excursions and offered great diner recommendations. It was conveniently located near bus and train station. Great restaurants in area. The only negative is since it is close to the train station you hear the trains go at all hours.

Very friendly and efficient service throughout our stay. Great location within walking distance to Victoria station, as well as to Buckingham Palace. Clean and comfortable room, which was upgraded for us at check-in. We appreciated the air conditioning. Reasonable price, considering its great location in London. Highly recommend this hotel!

Aside from being a really comfortable, clean room with a super bed and duvet, the reception allowed me to checkin early. After a red-eye flight, this was a lifesaver and I appreciated it.

The Hotel Staff Outstanding - Mr. Hussein is the person everyone should talk to when in London. Top notch and great personality extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel is perfect location close to Victoria Train/Subway/Tour Bus. But far enough away from groups/noise and safe. Excellent 24 desk service and free coffee/hot chocolate/small snacks. We chose this hotel because of proximity to Victoria Station and affordability. Room (no 512) is OK, but is situated between the entrance and an elevator. The walls are paper thin. You can feel and hear the passing trains, too. If you have an issue with sound, I would not recommend this hotel. There was also a row of homeless people sleeping in tents right next to the entrance.

This was the perfect choice for an quick budget-friendly London trip. I was just a few steps away from Victoria Station where I got the bus to and from Heathrow Airport. The hop-on hop-off tour bus also stops 2 blocks away so I was able to easily do 2 days of touring around London city. There are lot of restaurants to choose from that I could easily walk to. The room itself was smaller than average but clean and cozy. Perfect for solo travel or a couple.

The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was also very small. There was little room to store clothing as the wardrobe was small and there was only a desk with a few small drawers for storage. There was no elevator. Air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was available for a price but we did not avail of it.

This is a great hotel conveniently located close to the Victoria transportation hubs- close to bus, train, tube. Walkable to restaurants. The hotel room is spacious, clean, quiet. Facilities are updated and fresh. The staff did a great job on house keeping. A note on breakfast, it comes in a box drop by the room door at 7 am . Fairly decent selections.

The room is small but it looks new and clean. The bed is also comfortable too. The people at check in counter is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is basic and few choices and also all the same every day. I am satisfied with the room but we got the room that is no elevator so we have to take the luggage into the room. You can ask them to help that is not a big problem.

Our room was downstairs and the view from the window was a 5x5 space containing a large ventilation pipe and an open door into a dark room. Im guessing it is a mechanical room of some sort, but being right outside our window it was a bit concerning and we hoped no one would break in. Needless to say, our room had a horrible view so curtains stayed closed. Room was quite small but both twin beds were very comfortable and the shower had awesome water pressure. Breakfast was typical with cereal, fruit, a few types of eggs and sausage rolls.It was very well cared for, always making sure to have enough on hand or cleanup spills. Staff was amazing, super helpful and lots of ideas for things to do and see or places to eat.

Overall I found the hotel to be very good and wonderfully well located half a block from Victoria Coach Station and two short blocks from Victoria Rail and Victoria Tube Stations. It was close to some theatres and restaurants. The property was freshly renovated and well maintained. It consists of four or five historic townhouses and an issue I had was that my building had no elevator and only steep, winding steps. The staff without hesitation carried my large luggage up and down but the configuration might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. I should have requested a lower level room. The breakfast was nicely served in the lobby but choices were very limited … definitely “continental. Rooms and the lobby had coffee and tea available all the time. Even the “double rooms” seemed small but the hotel had a lot of character and was very comfortable and clean with lots of hot water and great water pressure! I would return.

Lovely clean room with air con and a safe. Pillows a bit hard for me. Usual cheap instant coffee and uht milk provided. Close to rail station so could hear the trains but ear plugs for the night sorted that. Good transport links. Would stay here again as a sightseeing base.
