A hotel in a great location offering a warm welcome. Staff struggled with my accent and trying to confirm a late check out proved difficult. No ability to leave bags at the hotel while running a charity half marathon made things difficult. Room service very expensive and as they didn't properly register my credit card we had to pay for our meal in cash and not all items were delivered. Could be great - but its not there at the moment.

Only one lift working for the entire 14 floors of the hotel and that one wasn't working properly. people getting stuck in it, engineer in and out - very worrying. Room was OK but needed work - dirty sealant around the bath and generally a bit unloved.

The staff was very nice, and the area is quite convenient which would explain the price. Other than location and staff, the rooms I had were ok. My first room had to be changed since there was a leak and the carpet was wet and brown. I appreciated the changing of my room, but the room I got was worse (layout wise)which really didn’t make me happy. I’m not one who will complain during my stay, so that’s my fault for being quiet. I still had all the things I had in the other room, but the TV wasn’t working, and during the whole stay only 1 elevator was working (and god knows where the stairs are). Again, location and staff being nice was what made me not complain further than getting the room changed which they offered to me.

The hotel was a good location for us, but there were problems with the room, that just shouldn't have been that way for the price we paid. The sink did not drain well. One of the lamps was not working. But my number one issue was the elevator. They had 2, but were working on one. That's fine. I waited forever for it one day, and it was full when it got to me. I am a patient person so that was OK, I said we would wait for the next one. We pressed the button again, and it was lit, but the next elevator going down went right past us. I wasn't happy about it, but said we would just walk down the stairs from the 10th floor. We got down to the 1st and Ground floors, and there were no exits from the stairwells onto those floors. We had to walk back up to the 2nd floor and catch the elevator there finally to get to the ground floor. I complained to the desk about it. There should be some indication on the 2nd floor in the stairwell that there was no exit from the next 2 floors. The hotel was overpriced for what I got.

Parking says £45, but is actually £60. I guess they use this for false advertisement. We paid for a room with a city view, but there was no city view. Online it says they do breakfast room service, but they do not. I ordered rose petals as an extra, but did not get them. All fake advertisement to entice people, if I’d have know the above, then I would have booked elsewhere, there are plenty of other nicer hotels for cheaper in the area. On top of this, I have still not recieved a refund for the no city view, apparently it is with head office and nothing they can do. Seem like scammers to me!

Getting tired…. No taxi service provided other than airport.. In town service at pathetic rates ie we were quoted 55 pound to Waterloo station 4 of us went by our own hauled cab for 24 pounds

I stayed 2 nights. On my first night coming back late to sleep the blinds did not close properly lesving a big gap in the middle as they are completely stuck. Could not sleep as full light from the street coming into the room. The next day i went out to my outings abd cane back to the hotel at 8:30pm to find my room gad not been cleaned nor the bed made. I called the reception to complin and was told if i did not request for the room to be cleaned they dont clean them!! What hotel does this? 4* hotel are you serious? The room was not clean i found hair on the bathroom towel…room condition is poor…same for bathroom.

The bathroom in our room wasn't properly cleaned. the old soap from the previous occupant was still on the counter. Garbage still existed in the bathrrom trash can. Property is old and needs a face lift.

Bad smell from the bedding, which hadn’t dried properly, and the bathroom smelled of mould and damp. Combined, it was pretty overwhelming. When feedback was provided to staff, they shifted blame onto me for not telling them sooner.

Great location but hotel is long overdue for a renovation. Old carpet, rooms dated and overwhelming damp, moldy smell throughout the hallways and room. Bellmen watched as I carried my luggage down small set of stairs and did not help. Too busy talking to each other. If they renovate, would stay there again.

Hotel was appalling. I have spent over 800 nights in hotels. This was by far the worst. Below Motel 6. Came to hotel at 2pm, check-in was 3pm, my grandmas house smelt better, the bed was OK, but couldn't sleep because there was no AC. Front desk told me there were no other rooms, surprising as there didn't seem to be many people walking around. The solution for the above boiling point temperature was open the window one inch and putting a floor fan on the desk chair to give a whisper of a breeze to the occupant. I really wish I took a photo of the horrendous stains in the bathroom. Seriously unsure how this place is in business let alone commanding such a high room rate. There are plenty of boutique hotels in the area that are small, but well cared for with polite staff. Avoid this hotel at all costs. They say location is everything but this location does not make up for the horrendous experience. The front desk attendant was VERY rude.

The property outside the public areas needs to have a make-over. I stayed in two rooms, a normal room and a club room and both were tired and in need of some care and attention. The hotel is also noisy with thin walls causing TVs and conversations to be heard in your own room. The location is amazing - and I feel the hotel could be - but isn't in its current state. 4-star prices for a 2/3 star feel unfortunately.

Tiny tiny room; old style straight-rod shower curtain clung to me every morning while showering; room heater didn’t work well - I was always cold; construction drilling in building; roads blocked outside; staff was just ok; I tried checking out a day early and they refused a credit; I can’t believe it’s a 4 star property.

Awe full mismanagement and poor services. 1- When we arrived heard hotel is fully booked and they do not have room for us as it was booked by travel agent(Expedia). After almost one hour finally they accepted to give us another room. 2- next day asked us to repackage and move to a twin bed room which was booked by us almost 3 months ago by Expedia. 3 - 4 hours wasting our time for repacking and unpacking in new room. - given room to us actually does not have “WIFI “every they we claimed for WIFI and they send somebody as technician and this guy confirmed that that there is NO WIFI IN OUR ROOM.but no reaction - at the day 3 o talked to manager of hotel and she promised to send an engineer to solve our problem but nothing happened. - at day 4 again I talked with the same manager of hotel and she said working on our wifi problem and try his best to solve problem by day after. I told her , we booked this hotel for 6 days and even if we have internet at day 5 is useless as we will leave before 8 am of next morning to reach our flight back home Canada and asked her to return part of our hotel charge to compensate giving a hotel room without internet to us through Expedia and also wasting so much time of us and every day upsetting us which she said I ask from my director and let you know.which of course nothing happened. I expect Expedia to do something as hotel millennium and its personal pissed off our vacation in London.

Stayed in many of millenium properties around the globe but this one looked tired and dated. Light switches were overly worn and the room being a superior room, the bed was two twins together with a noticeable groove. Overall, the hotel was good but needs attention.

OK for one night, but the hotel has deteriorated since our last stay over a year ago. The a/c was not working. The curtains wouldn’t close & there was no shower gel in the dispenser. We had to sleep with the window open. Luckily we were on the 6th floor. Breakfast is hit & miss. It’s OK but vegetarian options are thin on the ground

It was just ok. For the amount we paid it was expensive to not have WiFi and for the tv to not work even after specifically requesting reception to send someone to come fix it was a waste of time. It was very cold and in 1 room still had the details of a previous guest. Just didn’t feel like they wanted us to be there. Small rooms especially for 1 room there were 2 people. Old furnishings and cracked sinks. Concierge was good though. Zlatan was superb, very helpful and caring with our bags that were delayed from Heathrow and delivered them up to us. Location was convenient to Harrods.

The property grew on me during our stay. The staff in the breakfast room and Bistro Babette within the hotel were very attentive and made us feel most welcome. However, while checking in I was pressurized into doing a review of the hotel by the reception desk because they provided early check-in for free. It was to the extent where my phone was taken from me, I was logged into the hotel wifi, and my Google review was written for me and 5 stars awarded. I asked the on desk manager if it was company policy to make customers do this prior to experiencing the hotel and I was told it was because they waived the £40 early check-in fee. I was told that I was just reviewing the front desk, which as anyone who does a Google review knows they are reviewing the whole hotel and not just one department. This initially put me off the hotel and is why I only gave 4 stars for customer service. You should not make people complete a review when you're trying to check-in, are tired from traveling, its very unprofessional! The room has everything you need, but is a little tired looking, we struggled to close our curtains due to a faulty rail. The bathroom had high end Christian Lacroix bathroom products, which were very nice, but we couldn't get a room with a walk in shower for my mother that has mobility access limitations. From the conversation with the front desk I couldn't make out if they only had 1 room with a shower or not but we couldn't get a room with one.

The front desk service was horrific. Check-in was disorganized and unfair. There was no consideration for guests who arrived early and waited 4 hours to check-in as opposed to those that arrived four hours later. To make matters worse, the manager was arrogant and disrespectful when the issue was brought to his attention. Indeed, I would say that he was discriminating in his attitude at best. The concierge staff was lovely, accommodating and humble. The restaurant staff also was quite hospitable.

Location is good for shopping and London center. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend. Lights weren’t working in the room, I came around 240p for check in and they told me to sit for 20 mins and they’d let me know what the room was ready but no one let me know so got back in line after 25 mins, lobby was chaotic and people were constantly complaining and frustrated which made for a bad feeling overall, one elevator broke so difficult to get up end down quickly, wifi was weak, quite outdated interior and smell in the room.

Pros: Nice Shower, comfortable room, nice neighborhood, good buffet breakfast. Cons: poor signage (had trouble finding it at night), reception not responsive (multiple calls to the front desk went unanswered), fire alarm at 6am. Have noticed other reviews have mentioned fire alarms.

Abdul at bell service was terrible. He brought our luggage to the Sloane street entrance because he did not want to take it down the steps on the other side of the hotel. Sloane street is a busy street, with lots of traffic. The taxi could not stand for too long and he refused to help unload the luggage off the trolley.

From the moment we arrived the staff at the Millenium hotel Knightsbridge couldn't be more helpful. From Shaneka at Reception who was so friendly and welcoming, and throughout our stay was happy to help and answer any questions, to the cleaner on our floor who was just lovely. It was my cousins first trip to London and I wanted to show her around how wonderful it is and the welcome and service we received at the Millenium really set the tone for a fantastic weekend and one she will never forget. Including the magnificent view from our room Thank you

Millenium Hotel London Knightsbridge took very good care of us during our recent stay. The staff was very accommodating of our needs. The location is conveniently next to high-end boutiques as well as Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Breakfast choices were excellent. We would definitely stay there again!

Well located to 'posh' shops, Harrods etc. Near to Knightsbridge tube. Reception staff were friendly. I had asked for a high up room on my reservation but this was not picked up on. My room was clean and tidy, although it was showing a few signs of needing renovation, e.g. seal and grout in batthroom. Managed to get a good price for a double room meaning value for money was good.

Overall an excellent stay a couple of very minor issues …no shower gel in shower .. no biscuits with tea or coffee ..lack of iron &board that would have been helpful ….breakfast was plentiful with great selection .. Will definitely stay again good value

The checkin was straightforward. The problem was we ordered a Twin room but ended up with a Double Room. We tried to call Front Desk but after letting it ring for about 6 minutes we gave up and tried 3 times more and no-one answered. Wet hen tried to order room service and again pressed the Room Service button again about 4 times but again no-one answered. My husband went down from the 12th floor to speak to someone. The lady on the front desk was busy and so he went to the bar and spoke to sa male staff member taff and was explained the problem. He said that we should be pressing number 6 to order room service (no where is this mentioned). He took our order and upon returning to the room he pressed number 6 but it was out of order. When the food arrived it was cold and no bottle opener. The waiter return with said item and we said that food was cold and he apologised and that was it. We mentioned all the above to the lady on Reception and she said she woudl report it to her Manager and someone would be in touch but todate no-one has. The good points about the hotel was location for Knightsbridge and the view from the room.

Cleanliness okay, need to pay more attention to detail, especially corners and skirting. Could do with plug/usb points next to the beds. Wiring for TV need to be hidden. Ate breakfast at the hotel as pouring with rain to go elsewhere, good selection but over priced compared to other buffet breakfasts

Staying for a concert at Hyde park. Very convenient location. Lots of lifts but they don’t disturb you. Room view over London. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. Staff very friendly

Staff was first rate, very polite and professional. The rooms are a bit tired. Room was clean but worn. Of the two I will always take clean. Sliding door on bathroom was peeling and cabinet doors had broken hinges. I informed the front desk when leaving and they apologized and thanked me for letting them know. Included breakfast was extensive with many hot and cold choices

staff are very nice and helpful, rooms are dated but decent. AC is pretty good, some sockets dont work so you may need an adapter as a tourist. breakfast is pretty disgusting to be honest. lobby bar closes early. for the price and location its a good value but definitely nothing special.
