Only a one night stay so coped with the poor facilities, but would not want to stay there for longer. Great location, just needs some cash spending to bring it back from the 1940s. Shame the cleaners didn't do the room before we got there, but to be fair the chap on reception swapped our room straight away.

Last minute booking due to a miscommunication with another hotel. Asked for a room rate that was £100 more than Hiotels.com booked and then had to wait 10 minutes to check in other guests were checked in before me. The room was at the top of the building VERY tired the Tv plug didn’t reach the socket so was unable to be used. The WiFi code is on reception so had to go back down 4 flights of stairs to get and mentioned about the TV he did say he could check later on but at this point I just wanted some peace and watched tv through my laptop instead. The room at night smelt of smoke due to the guests next door smoking I went to the hall way to shut the window to stop the smoke coming through my door and put a towel as a draft excluder to fix the issue. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable and woke up with a bad back. All in all a poor nights jstay the only reframing feature is the location.

Indifferent staff, filthy bathroom plug in sink, not working, when i pulled it out to see why it was not connected to pull rod it was full muck and hair. The television did not work, there was a cockroach in the bath. Lastly the whole place a refurb. It needs to be inspected as soon as possible by inspectors.

Great location, just very worn down. The TV and fan did not work. You could feel the springs in the mattress.

Sheets hadn't been changed since the guest. They still had the burn holes in the bedsheet which lined-up with the scorch mark on the mattress. No hot water on both days of my stay, Had to endure washing in the sink with freezing water as having it sprayed out of the "shower" (tap extension) was too much to take.
