Park Grand Marble Arch

Check in wasn’t the fastest, nice clean hotel. Very annoying we had to tune the Television in every time we turned it on to the loss off nearly ten minutes each time. Cracked floor tiles in the shower room. Room very hot even with the aircon on the lowest setting of 19 degrees. Local parking was £38 around the corner for the one nights stay

Lovely hotel with all thebkiyyle extras to make your stay enjoyable. Obviously a woman involved in the planning, some nice touches: water, fruit, ear-buds, cotton wool, elemis toiletries, slippers, plus a delicious brekkie!

Typical small london room, but clean and adequately comfortable bed. Pictures of room (Club Room) look deceiving, or at least I did not get the type of room I ordered. The staff was excellent and very helpful and courteous. They get a 5 star A plus rating. I was a sole traveler annd stayed only one night and room was barely adequate in size.I could not imagine the difficulty for two people for a more extended stay. Hotel lacked amenities except for a small breakfast room, although there was free bottled water in the room. Again, the staff was excellent and must be commended for their services.

The Park Grand Marble Arch Hotel was very conveniently located and very good value compared with other hotels nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful, fresh fruit was available at reception and in my room, and everything was provided for a comfortable overnight stay in central London.

Let’s clear up one thing now, this is not a 5* hotel but was awarded a 5* rating by the AA as a B&B. Yes there is a restaurant - the only one where breakfast is served. That’s it. Room service - doesn’t exist, that’s for cleaning services only. The rooms are very, very small but comfortable enough. The carpets do let the place down as they are rather old and worn but that aside, the staff are nice and helpful. If you want a convenient place to stay adjacent to Marble Arch and Oxford St, than you will be very pleased but be prepared to pay a price for this.

There is no restaurant There is no Room service We did not have a deluxe double room despite it was booked and confirmed moths ago and i notified them we would be late checking in. I have given the gotel chance to respond but honesty i dont think they care. The staff were good e

We were allowed to check in early and leave our bags with reception, which was very helpful. Similarly, that allowed us to leave our bags after check out. It made shopping so much easier. Whilst it might have been nice to get a drink in the hotel bar after the event we went to, they don’t have this facility. Other than that it was a lovely stay. Would recommend going to a local shop before heading back to the hotel if another guest found themselves in the same position.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night, was meant to be 2 nights but it was that bad we left! I honestly cannot believe this is awarded 5 stars more like 2 star! The windows & curtains were filthy, the bed bowed in the middle, the sink was ready to collapse as the wood underneath it had rotted away & the disgusting smell in the bathroom put me off even having a shower. I honestly couldn’t wait to check out of this hotel!

I just like the location. Other than that, I regret staying there. Washroom is dirty, dirty kitchen sink and under the sink, utensils not washed properly, and lots hair on floor/not mopped well and dusty. I should have taken photos as soon as I came in. The owner needs to talk to the cleaner or check after cleaning.

This was a horrible experience. A terrible room, dirty covers, and poorly cleaned. Very small room, with a View to taped and sealed windows 1.5 meters away. The floor and wall by the windows were very wet and pretty unhealty to look at and to step un. I made sure to document everything. If this was a cheap room, a hostel or something worse, I could accept it, but I paid almost 6000 danish kroner for two nights without breakfast. And now a few weeks after my stay they withdraw almost 400 danish kroner extra .. maybe because the mini fridge didnt work.

The room was falling apart. The shower knob was coming off, tiles were missing, things didn’t work, the carpet felt gross and our sheets were stained. Wouldn’t recommend

The entrance to the hotel was nice. Reception staff were pleasant. When we walked in the room it smelled of cigarette smoke with air freshener over the top. The room itself was clean but quite small. Fine for 1 night but not a longer stay. The bathroom however was quite disgusting and in much need of renovation. Loose floor tiles and wall tiles. The shower cubicle obviously leaks and there has been some awful silicon work done to try and fix it. Dirty marks and limescale everywhere, which is pretty obvious in a black and silver room. The wooden vanity unity was all corroded where water has ingressed over time. All of this resulted in a very strong mouldy mildew smell that was quite overpowering. Even with the door shut i could still smell it whilst laying in bed. We didn't want to use the shower because it was so gross. Very unexpected for £210 a night. Disappointed and wouldn't stay again.

Staff and cleanliness upon arrival was great, couldn’t fault the staff they were lovely, We booked the deluxe double room, which we got a room in the basement with no functioning window to get any air it was very small, I’m no good with small areas was very claustrophobic, none of the pictures show rooms without windows so didn’t think this would be a problem. asked if we can move they moved us to a slightly bigger room, don’t think it was great value for money but is in a great location. Rooms are definitely not sound proof could hear all of the convos from next door especially in early hours of the morning, breakfast was great we couldn’t fault this, overall hotel is good staff are lovely but just a lot of money for the type of rooms we were given.

Not a 4 star! Property is in a great area just off Marble Arch, reception area is nice and the staff are helpful however the single rooms on the lower ground floor are grim! Damp cold and windowless, very unpleasant to sleep in

Lovely hotel, very clean and rooms were a great size. Room was ready early for check in and service at reception was great. Plenty of clean towels provided in the room and Elemis toiletries. Very reasonably priced and great location. Would definitely stay again when we come to London next.

Single room with a single bed is extremely small. On the websites wrong size is displayed.

Check in and staff were amazing, entry was lovely...but when we arrived in our room it was nothing like any of the pics showed, very cramped but was nice and cosy when in even if the tv and some parts of furniture were damaged/aged. Breakfast was lovely and was easy to get in and out of the hotel.

Stayed one night. Can’t fault the staff. All were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The problem is with the hotel itself. My room stank of cigarettes and when I spoke to the reception they said they knew about it and a previous guest had been smoking in a neighbouring room, and that unfortunately there were no alternative rooms available. So I put up with it. However, i noticed the smell intensified over the duration of my stay and was worse in the bathroom, especially in the morning. I suspect the smoke is being brought in from a smoking area outside via ventilation. I was given a ground floor room and immediately outside the window is a narrow alley with residential houses on it. Sound insulation is incredibly poor so i could hear residents coming and going and their conversations very clearly and at all hours. I could also hear guests in the next room riffling through their bags, and every word of their conversation. And more. The walls are wafer thin. I didn’t sleep well as a result. The positives are that the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. And again, staff were great. Its just the building itself has significant flaws preventing it from being a great place to stay.

The room looks like nothing in the picture. Hotel is out-dated in design with very small rooms. It was expensive too.

Number of issues, room did not reflect images on website, very small with no room to move around. air con not working and even after reporting it, never got a follow up call. Fridge not plugged in so took time to get to temp which due to weather, should have been on at arrival. Breakfast good

The room was immaculate, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was always smiling and quick to offer assistance. 2 blocks to subway and bus stops was lovely. We would stay there again.

When we arrived at the hotel to drop our bags off the lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. She offered us a welcome glass of Prosecco and asked us about what our plans were. When I informed them it was a 40th birthday celebration they asked if we’d like a complimentary bottle sent to our room for when we returned. They also made the bed with a swan towel and rose petals. The hotel reception was stunning and the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The facilities at the hotel were really good and the breakfast was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in great proximity for our needs and very clean although reception staff seemed a little aloof and somewhat unfriendly.

I stayed at the Marble Arch London for a long weekend. It was excellent. The room was very nice and the staff were so friendly. In particular I’d like to thank PooJA who really went above and beyond, she was really helpful and lovely

In general, great property and location. The staff very professional, accommodating and helpful. My room could use a bit of an update but overall I was very happy with my stay. I will book here again on my next visit.

We booked to stay in the 'Park Grand Marble Arch'. But 2 days before arrival we received an email to say there was a problem and we were being moved to the Grand Royale Hyde Park. Disappointing that at such short notice we were moved. Customer service regarding this move was limited and vague. Still refining emails asking how it start was at the Park Grand. All very bizarre!?!

Awful customer service terrible reception staff! Would not accept my card payment. Staff would then not allow me to leave the building even though I said I had another card in my car. Then I have ended up paying twice so I need a refund. Will never stay again!

Very nice hotel. A bit on the pricy side, but that's probably just London prices. Great location five minutes from Hyde Park and Marble Arch Tube Station. The staff were all lovely too.

Very quiet area near Marylebone and Oxford street for shopping . Staff were lovely. We were offered a glass of fiz on arrival . The lobby area offered fresh strawberries and bottled water . Although we were too early to check in a coffee was offered in the dining room which was very kind. Room was small, but suited our stay perfectly. Would recommend this hotel

Absolutely spot on - bags stored early and taken to our room for us. Reception with fresh fruit/chocolates etc for guests. Breakfast fabulous choice and offer of eggs cooked differently/omelettes. Ladies in catering so attentive. Absolutely fabulous gem of a hotel - will definitely go back.

A very high standard of services that makes every guest as a special. A spacious room plus a delicious breakfast buffet served with a fruity delicious taste of coffee , that’s what I called a truly English hospitality.

The hotel was in a great location next to Hyde park. Staff at breakfast were really good and very helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was good but a little cold but they made you any thing you wanted

Overall a lovely stay. Warm and friendly reception staff, hotel in a great location. Breakfast let things down as although there was a great selection, it was cold. We even tried at 7:30 when it opened but alas the hot food was tepid at best.

Always stay in Montcalm hotels in London and this is by far the worst we have ever visited. Calling our room a box room would be optimistic, more like a prison cell in a basement. Everything is branded as ‘The Montcalm Marble Arch’ which is actually a lie as this is the much better sister hotel across the road that we have previously stayed in. The room is the width of the tiny, uncomfortable double bed that has less than a foot either side to get out of and the room smelt awful of damp. I immediately raised my concerns with reception upon check in and requested another room, however was told there was nothing they could do. No fridge or robes in room as advertised, and full breakfast was cold and napkins on table dirty. I don’t understand how this place can be affiliated with the Montcalm name that we have trusted for years. No more than a dated, 2* hotel and the photos advertised when booking are clearly of the other hotels within the brand. Highly highly disappointed, please spend your money elsewhere and don’t let this place spoil your London trip like it did ours.

Absolutely fantastic staff ! The only complaint is that my parents room tv didn’t work and it wasn’t sorted out that evening , they ended up having to move rooms which was a bit inconvenient but did get an upgrade ! The cooked breakfast could have been a bit hotter aswell
