Very close to tube in a nice residential area with good shops restaurants etc nearby. Small rooms but that's unavoidable in London.

We got upgraded on arrival to a suite which was a welcome surprise although, the suite was a little bit dated and had no additional amenities than a normal room. Staff were helpful, location was excellent, overall a good stay!

Stayed 10 nights

I booked two family rooms for a 10-night stay. Rooms with a sofa bed were hard to find for my travel dates, so I was happy about finding this hotel. Communication was also good prior to check in. The surrounding area felt safe and it was convienently close to a tube station, restaurants, and a grocery store. We arrived early and they stored our bags for us. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly, but nothing was really explained other than the wifi. The lift was tiny and often delayed, so we took the stairs most times. Beds were comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The hotel is older, so I expected there to be some minor wear and tear, but there was a lot. There were black scuffs on the walls, damage on the toilet seat, oily fingerprints on the doors and switches, and dust around the carpet, baseboards, and walls. The furniture was also old and damaged. Housekeeping was responsive and kind, they kept things fresh and provided cans of water each day. The photos shown on hotels.com do not accurately depict the condition of this hotel. I don't know if this is standard for a hotel in this area, or if I was paying for the location, but it did feel like I payed a large amount of money for a very run down hotel. This was my first trip to London, so perhaps this is standard? I just felt like it could have been cleaner and in better repair.

Stayed 3 nights

Paid for a room which had no natural light as the blind was broken and the window being 3 metres high. There’s no ventilation in the bathroom which was small. Bedroom was different levels with steps to the bed, a slope to the bathroom. Only benefit was we were out majority of the day.
