I stayed at the hotel as it was near where I needed to be in London and it provided parking. I usually stay when in London at a Premier Inn. This compared favourably with it. The nearby area was a little noisy during the night, but otherwise a good stay.

It was fine for one night and room was quiet and clean. The only complaint was no refreshments in the room, it is shared with the guest, via a kettle, paper cups and basic refreshments in the reception area

This hotel was repugnant from getting to its location which was not the best to attract responsible travellers. It was quite unexpectedly clean inside but the services were poor. The bathroom was that small you need to squeeze to get to the toilet. You need need to climb a steep stairs to get to the rooms and no lift or any provision for the disabled. Toiletries appear to be rationed and no provision for lodgers to make cups of tea in the room. Overall I found the staff I met friendly and willing to help but the one who answered when I phoned at the early hours was snubbing, arrogant and unfriendly. Overall not fit for purpose

Beds were comfy, staff were friendly. Location was terrible. Hard to find hidden behind a Texaco garage. Awful smell of cannabis around the vicinity. Room door was awkward to open. Extractor fan was noisy and went on for ages before it went off after visiting the bathroom, toilet seat wasn’t attached properly. No hangers in the wardrobe and no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms.

Overall not too bad. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked to help. The only things are: no tea facilities in rooms, bedside lamps weren’t on, till I asked for help, parking is indicated as available on the website but there’s very limited spaces, had to park one car on streets, Location hidden, difficult to spot the entrance.

Rated check in poor as they wanted cash to park the car then reception questioned me on it before I left, the hotel is very old and tired the shower screen is covered in limescale and black mould on the tiles, honestly one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in I hardly slept!!

Shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and the room basic but enough comfort for us. There were no tea / coffee equipment in the room but you could make it downstairs if required. Shower was small but clean. Overall value for money spent.

I had booked 2 rooms for my family (inc 2 teens). Service on arrival was poor. Argumentative and lack of any caring attitude. Received a request to see evidence that the kids were ours. Also they wanted to see ID for our kids and my partner. They also showed us ID of other guests (breach of Data protection), this proved though they only took 1 person's ID. The hallways were soaked in water which were slippery. The rooms looked clean when entering but we found chair and fan broken. In one of the rooms, no towels were provided at all. The showers were dirty. Used soap in the shower tray. The shower frame (to hold the shower head to wall) was broken. Dirty rooms as we found empty bottles and rubbish down sides of bed. Barely any plug sockets and the ones we did find did not work. Windows were difficult to close so had to suffer with the noise from outside.

We knew it was a 2* so expectations were low - but it was grim. The condition of the room was appalling but given we were rushing to make a gig had no time to challenge. Broken lights. Bare bulbs. Broken locks. Plastic matress with tired bed linen that did not fit. Suspicious gunk on wall. Poor 70s DIY bathroom. Broken toilet seat. Curtains hanging by a thread. £150 is an outrageous fee and I have stayed in better accomodation backpacking in 3rd world countries. Miserable. Looking at previous reviews they are clearly binary in nature - genuine and fake? Many 'Excellent' 10s with no narrative and single names. These elevate the score to a 2*. So very disappointed and not a little miffed at being duped. Had an intense need to get home and have a shower upon leaving. Brings Hotel.com reputation into question. Bedroom and bathroom were dirty (probably hadn't been properly cleaned in a while). Light pullcord in bathroom was disgusting and the toilet seat broken. There was hair in the shower and stains on the sheets. The room was very shabby and tired. Beds were uncomfortable. Reception didn't seem to care when issues were raised.

The hotel was clean & tidy. Staff were helpful & friendly. The bed needs replacing, for what they charge you’d expect better quality beds. Towels were small & no shower gel or hand wash in the bathrooms. Every time you moved it squeaked & felt it would fall apart. I wouldn’t stay again

Okay place to crash for the night. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable but ok. Room was in clean condition . No tea, coffee etc. Location was quite poor. Lots of people screaming/ shouting ALL night which kept us awake, so had VERY little sleep. Music outside was playing ALL night too, didn’t stop. However staff can’t control that.

Fantastic location for easy access to Hackney, cheap and cheerful accommodation, bed and bedding could do with improvement, which would greatly improve experience

I like rahjeh on reception. However expedia said that you could pay on arrival. Infact the payment tried to be taken prior on the day and due to it being an old card, payment was not taken. The room was then cancelled. Luckily they were able to give us one of the disabled rooms, however we did not have our own bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Great staff very welcoming and showed a great interest in reason for stay and if we had a good night, room was good bed was okay main downside was the surrounding area but location worked for where we needed to be. All in all 4/5

Barely any plug sockets and the ones we did find did not work. Windows were difficult to close so had to suffer with the noise from outside.
I had booked 2 rooms for my family (inc 2 teens). Service on arrival was poor. Argumentative and lack of any caring attitude. Received a request to see evidence that the kids were ours. Also they wanted to see ID for our kids and my partner. They also showed us ID of other guests (breach of Data protection), this proved though they only took 1 person's ID. The hallways were soaked in water which were slippery. The rooms looked clean when entering but we found chair and fan broken. In one of the rooms, no towels were provided at all. Did what it says on the tin. A place to lay your head down. Not easy to find because it’s not on the main road, you have to past the garage on the left hand side and turn left. Staff on reception were friendly, gave me the key and WiFi code, plus were there to let me in after an evening out. Room was a basic room which is what you would expect from a lower end budget hotel. The room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. No complaints. I would stay here again.

Okay place to crash for the night. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable but ok. Room was in clean condition . No tea, coffee etc. Location was quite poor. Lots of people screaming/ shouting ALL night which kept us awake, so had VERY little sleep. Music outside was playing ALL night too, didn’t stop. However staff can’t control that.

Beds were comfy, staff were friendly. Location was terrible. Hard to find hidden behind a Texaco garage. Awful smell of cannabis around the vicinity. Room door was awkward to open. Extractor fan was noisy and went on for ages before it went off after visiting the bathroom, toilet seat wasn’t attached properly. No hangers in the wardrobe and no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms.

Overall not too bad. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked to help. The only things are: no tea facilities in rooms, bedside lamps weren’t on, till I asked for help, parking is indicated as available on the website but there’s very limited spaces, had to park one car on streets, Location hidden, difficult to spot the entrance.

Stayed at this hotel the other day. It took 15 mins of ringing the bell to get in. My room booked wasn’t available and only had a room with no window or bathroom. They had to clean communal toilets once I was checked in just to make it acceptable. Room had no towels which I had to go ask for myself I would avoid if anyone is booking in future

This was a very convenient and reasonable priced hotel for a 1/2 night stopover. The rooms are small but have everything you need. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom small but clean. No breakfast provided but there are plenty eateries in the area , a nice pub - The London fields nearby and a cafe around the corner. The reception manager was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
