First impression based on checking in wasn't positive, which was very transactional and without warmth, although receptionist on second day was much more friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and great to have a fan with weather so hot. The place is not in the smartest of spots, being on a main road and next door to a drive through McDonalds. However, it was within easy (around 20 min) walking distance of Clapham Common and everything that has to offer, and close to public transport. I would stay again, but if staying at weekend I wouldn't pay for basic parking as there are lots of road spaces that are permit free at weekends, or if paying for parking I would pay for parking in secured area . I noticed sound of planes in the evening and early morning, but I can't see that would have been different anywhere else in area. Overall, I would say it is a decent option if you are not expecting luxury and using as a base to simply sleep and shower.

We had booked a superior room but there was nothing superior about it! It was tiny; the beds hardly fitted. The shower room was clean but again very small. It was very noisy looking out on to a drive through McDonalds that was open until 2am and a busy road. There was no air conditioning and it was impossible to sleep as there was a heatwave at the time. We had to leave early because of this but there was no offer of any money to be refunded although the guy on reception did say sorry. There was no restaurant and no breakfast! The hotel was well placed for both bus and overground train. Also a reasonable selection of shops and restaurants nearby. The price was good but I certainly won’t be staying again!

Stayed 1 night

Stayed for one night in June 2026 and were put up in teh Annex next door to the main building. The room was very clean and the whole had obviously been recently refurbished to a high standard. All the necessary items were in place, such as kettle, tea and coffee and we enjoyed a very pleasant overnight stay. We had to use a fan (already provided in the room) due to the warm weather but this did not affect our night. Would very much recommend this place to others.
