Hotel Posta is the perfect small hotel in a great location. If you have a car the public parking is steps away, walking around is a breeze. So many great restaurants. My room was perfect, roof top terrace, breakfast and a very friendly staff.

Hotel muito bem localizado, tem elevador e estacionamento publico proximo também. O atendimento da equipe é cortês e as instalações muito boas, o hotel conta com um terraço com uma vista belíssima! Só procure saber o tamanho do box do banheiro do quarto que vai ocupar, no quarto que ficamos o box era muito pequeno, dependendo do seu tamanho voce pode nao caber. Recomendamos e com certeza voltaremos!

Not far from the Archimedes Statue that stands on the bridge from Siracusa, Hotel Posta sits near the sea with a free parking lot nearby. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Our room was comfortable, and included a balcony with a table and chairs. A large breakfast buffet is served on the roof. Hotel Posta is ideal for exploring the lively fish market as well as all the archeological and historical sites crammed into this small town. The only downside was that the breakfast area is small, so we had to sign up for a specific time to eat.

Staying here with my Grandmother was great. The staff were very nice and polite, they were quick with responses online and very helpful. Very lovely and welcoming people and atmosphere. It was tidy and looked beautiful on the inside, lots of decoration. It is near a lot of dining options, shops, and is a walkable distance from popular attractions. The only thing me and my Grandmother struggled with is the accessibility. She struggled to climb the stairs to breakfast every morning, as the breakfast is served on the terrace (beautiful views once we got up there, she loved it). But, the staff offered to bring the food down for us, and allowed us to bring the food back to our rooms if needed, very helpful and polite. There are stairs to get into the hotel as well, and stairs to reach our room. That is the only thing I would change about this hotel, is to make it more accessible for people with disabilities/elderly. Everything else is lovely, and I really enjoyed visiting here, it made my holiday so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality.

I chose this hotel because the price was reasonable .The staff were very friendly and helpful . The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable . There was an artist exhibiting his work on the walls of the lobby and common areas which was very nice . The hotel is located in a very central spot in Ortigia. I would stay here again.

Waarschijnlijk gevestigd in een oud postkantoor. Doet je denken aan overnachten in een kantoorruimte. Vochtplekken op plafonds en badkamer zou wel renovatie kunnen gebruiken. Parkeren lijkt me zeker in hoogseizoen een uitdaging. Parkeerkosten waren via kaartjesmachine €15 per dag en via hotel bijna €17. Personeel was behulpzaam en ontbijt was super! Wonderfully charming hotel in a great location with ample paid parking nearby. Our beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The included continental breakfast was very good and satisfying. Anna and her team made our stay very enjoyable and accomodated our extra requests, which just made our stay in wonderful Syracuse that much better. Very professionally run hotel that I would definitely visit again.

We had a nice stay. The hotel is located close to the water and within walking distance of many attractions. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is old and dated, and it’s easy to see that. A renovation would really help. The room had air fresheners in both the bedroom and bathroom, which wasn’t a good sign — it seemed like they were covering up an unpleasant smell.

The hotel was on Ortigia Island and walkable to everything, including the train station. The room and hotel were very clean and I happened to have a sea view room with a nice little balcony on it. It was a bit too cold (March) for me to enjoy doing that, and the breakfast, which, in better weather can be eaten outside was a good international breakfast buffet. The breakfast room (inside) is small, so I suppose, during busy season there might be a seating issue, but I didn't experience that. The staff was professional and helpful. My only slight negative was that it was pretty cold in the room and there was no way to control the heat. (Generally, in Italy, you can still have heat access through the end of March.)

Die vielen positiven Bewertungen kann ich leider nicht teilen. Zwar liegt das Hotel sehr gut und man ist ruck zuck bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Allerdings hat uns das Zimmer gar nicht überzeugt. Vor allem das Bad war eine Enttäuschung. Es war extrem klein und hatte keine Ablageflächen. Als wir kamen war auch noch ein großer Wasserfleck auf dem Badezimmerboden. Dieser kam von einem Schlauch der tropfte. Ein gerufener Handwerker reparierte das aber schnell. Tauschen hätten wir das Zimmer leider nicht können, da das Hotel wohl ausgebucht war. Sehr störend war die Hellhörigkeit im Hotel. Nachts um 2:30 Uhr wurde noch laut im Nachbarzimmer geredet. Auch waren die Matratzen ungemütlich und irgendwie zu weich/zu federnd. Ich habe schon in 2-Sterne-Hotels mit wesentlich besseren Matratzen übernachtet.

It was in a good location overall buildings a little rundown. The young lady at the desk was very nice and got me an ice pack for my foot that was hurting. Breakfast was excellent. There was a nice view of the water beyond the parking lot from our unit Parking was very accessible. Bed was hard as a rock. Could use some real updating.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was well presented and had a large choice of different foods. All very fresh. We had a lovely room #206 a corner room with two balconies and a view of the water/harbor. An added plus there was an elevator! The hotel is in a very conveniently location making it easy to walk to sights and restaurants. Very happy to have found this “gem”.

L’hôtel est très vétuste et ancien. L’état de la douche et de la salle de bain était déplorable. Nous avons bien été reçu à notre arrivée mais au petit déjeuner le personnel était très désagréable et ne nous a pas apporté la collation souhaitée. L’emplacement est intéressant mais pour le reste ce ne sont pas les prestations évaluées sous la note de 4,1 sur Expédia. Le petit déjeuner n’offre pas beaucoup de choix. Manque de fruits et de produits locaux alors que l’hôtel est situé à quelques minutes d’un marché local.
L’hôtel est très vétuste et ancien. L’état de la douche et de la salle de bain était déplorable. Nous avons bien été reçu à notre arrivée mais au petit déjeuner le personnel était très désagréable et ne nous a pas apporté la collation souhaitée. L’emplacement est intéressant mais pour le reste ce ne sont pas les prestations évaluées sous la note de 4,1 sur Expédia. Le petit déjeuner n’offre pas beaucoup de choix. Manque de fruits et de produits locaux alors que l’hôtel est situé à quelques minutes d’un marché local.

Hotel Posta is the perfect small hotel in a great location. If you have a car the public parking is steps away, walking around is a breeze. So many great restaurants. My room was perfect, roof top terrace, breakfast and a very friendly staff.

Wonderfully charming hotel in a great location with ample paid parking nearby. Our beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The included continental breakfast was very good and satisfying. Anna and her team made our stay very enjoyable and accomodated our extra requests, which just made our stay in wonderful Syracuse that much better. Very professionally run hotel that I would definitely visit again.

We had a nice stay. The hotel is located close to the water and within walking distance of many attractions. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is old and dated, and it’s easy to see that. A renovation would really help. The room had air fresheners in both the bedroom and bathroom, which wasn’t a good sign — it seemed like they were covering up an unpleasant smell.

Staying here with my Grandmother was great. The staff were very nice and polite, they were quick with responses online and very helpful. Very lovely and welcoming people and atmosphere. It was tidy and looked beautiful on the inside, lots of decoration. It is near a lot of dining options, shops, and is a walkable distance from popular attractions. The only thing me and my Grandmother struggled with is the accessibility. She struggled to climb the stairs to breakfast every morning, as the breakfast is served on the terrace (beautiful views once we got up there, she loved it). But, the staff offered to bring the food down for us, and allowed us to bring the food back to our rooms if needed, very helpful and polite. There are stairs to get into the hotel as well, and stairs to reach our room. That is the only thing I would change about this hotel, is to make it more accessible for people with disabilities/elderly. Everything else is lovely, and I really enjoyed visiting here, it made my holiday so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great stay at this small hotel ideally located on the Island. Lovely staff and really enjoyed having the breakfast in their rooftop terrace. Room was very clean and tidy. William on reception helped a lot and gave us an early checkout breakfast takeaway.

The hotel was on Ortigia Island and walkable to everything, including the train station. The room and hotel were very clean and I happened to have a sea view room with a nice little balcony on it. It was a bit too cold (March) for me to enjoy doing that, and the breakfast, which, in better weather can be eaten outside was a good international breakfast buffet. The breakfast room (inside) is small, so I suppose, during busy season there might be a seating issue, but I didn't experience that. The staff was professional and helpful. My only slight negative was that it was pretty cold in the room and there was no way to control the heat. (Generally, in Italy, you can still have heat access through the end of March.)

Not far from the Archimedes Statue that stands on the bridge from Siracusa, Hotel Posta sits near the sea with a free parking lot nearby. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. It was in a good location overall buildings a little rundown. The young lady at the desk was very nice and got me an ice pack for my foot that was hurting. Breakfast was excellent. There was a nice view of the water beyond the parking lot from our unit Parking was very accessible. Bed was hard as a rock. Could use some real updating.
