Nice. Quiet. Clean. The atmosphere was relaxing. I’d stay here again. Room was good size. Also appreciate the car charger and breakfast. VIP perk was a bottle of wine. Nice touch.

Property was quaint and clean. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Full DirecTV complete with premium channels Small but adequate exercise room. Plenty of restaurants walking distance. Only small issue is the shower water pressure wasn’t great. But nice Malin and Goetz toiletries provided. A little loud if guests close by aren’t considerate. Overall, really nice stay

Each room has a patio so it is possible to get fresh air. The gardens om the property are beautiful. The coffee is excellent. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated having real coffee mugs and real glasses in the room. The refrigerator was roomy. The staff is responsive

Beautiful facility surrounded by nature with relaxing vibes. We had a wonderful stay, the staff was very attentive & courteous. The pool is heated to 75° and made for a lovely a.m. swim with the kids. Definitely a great family friendly get away spot. If we visit this part of the state again, we'll be returning.

The property is beautiful. One of the best features is that the property has a market/deli store that makes great sandwiches and snacks. Very convenient! Our room was clean, and the area is very quiet. The only thing is that the air conditioning was a swamp cooler, and it was noisy, but it did its job, and we appreciate that. The pool area is clean and inviting. I would stay here always when in the area.

We were visiting Stanford University. We got in at a little after midnight. The check in person gave us a hard time because my middle name was not on the reservation. The room smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. The carpets were sticky and there was mold all over the bathroom as the below pictures. The shower head sprays outside the shower and so the floor floods so I had to dry it with our towels. The back of the door is rotted hence not a new problem. Blood stained towel. We had the DO NOT disturb sign on yet the room was cleaned this was an issue because all personal and valuable things were not secure as the safe was broken. I went and spoke to the young man at the check-in desk and he said he would pass it along. He was understanding. I didn’t hear from anyone. I travel often and I have written one other review all the years and it was for the best place we ever stayed and now this one.

Very beautiful quiet & serene. Room was comfortable and very clean! The cleaners were so quick, we left for about 20 minutes and they already replaced the towels and took out the trash :) highly recommend.

The carpet was dirty and there were floored hovering in the room. Slept one night and left the next day. I shouldn’t have had to pay even for the few hours that I slept there with no choice. Great inconvenience! I would not recommend it to anyone.

I stayed in one of the older buildings for my second stay at Creekside. The room smelled terrible musty and a little like pet urine. The air conditioner is an older unit and was so loud.

Quiet setting and adequate room but bathroom a problem. No water pressure sink and TOO MUCH water pressure shower with only a half glass panel to block shower was inadequate and water went all over bathroom floor so a mess and dangerously slippery!! Told desk but nothing fine to adjust it. Offered to change rooms but not on vacation to pack up and move to another room with same bathroom arrangement. If they had upgraded us to room with complete shower panel we would have changed!

I stayed in a Deluxe King over looking the beautiful blooming garden area and the creek. I had a private patio were I could sit outside listen to the birds sing and have a relaxing evening. My bed was comfortable. It was very quiet so I was able to sleep well. This is my second time staying here and not my last.

I have stayed at this property several times in the past but this is the first time I've been there in the winter. I never noticed the fact that the heat / air conditioning has no thermostat. This is a really nice hotel and I love it..... but I was SUPER disappointed at having to get up in the middle of the night because I was either freezing or roasting due to the fact that the heat is manually controlled. I would expect a nice hotel like this to have a thermostatically controlled HVAC for each room.

A bit noisy. The footsteps of the oeopke above us seemed very loud and I don’t think they were stomping. The floors could use some extra noise cancelling insulation. People outside were calling to each other but that stopped during quiet hours. Also we could hear a neighbors’ television. Otherwise the hotel was lovely, clean, and welcoming

Signage to find the lobby is poor. The first sign that says lobby with the arrow, Ignore. Look for a center second sign. Without apology, the hotel limited parking as they worked on 80% of the parking lot. It was obvious that many guest would not get a space. When I asked what was the plan for guest who returned and couldn’t park, I was told to get an UBER! There was no plan. People parked everywhere, and it was extremely difficult to maneuver around other double parked cars and get out of spaces with a limited area for traffic to flow. The employees and manager at this location never provided assistance, apology, or a kind word. They were abrupt and dismissive. We stayed 2 nights and were charged 3 days parking (amenity fee). $30.00. Under such circumstances discounting the $30.00 fee would seem reasonable. I would stay somewhere closer to Berkeley. We enjoyed that area, and ate at The Melt as we toured the college. Several restaurants around the hotel were out of business. It is a lovely area and could be a top notch property with a management team focused upon the needs of their guest. Palo Alto is an exceptional area with many many wonderful and welcoming hotels.

I did not appreciate my belongings being displayed as if they were for sale. I returned to the hotel and found the room door open with lights on. No explanation but just it happens a lot. Staff was condescending. I did not enjoy the stay.

I was booked in the wrong room, some glitch with an upgrade they said. My confirmation email said I booked a queen queen room but I was given a king room and when I let front desk know I needed two beds I was informed there were no rooms available with two beds. I was in town for surgery, already very stressed, Not great. Would’ve been good to at least be offered a discount. That aside, I’ve stayed here a few times and really like this place. Feel like I found a hidden gem.

Staff at check-in was amazing! He let us check-in a few hours early. Very welcoming and professional. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the view was so beautiful and tranquil. Highly recommend! Safe area during both the day and night. Planning to book again in a month or so!

I didn't like how the front office staff lied to me telling me my room didn't lead directly to the outside and then ignoring my calls when I learned that it did when I checked in. I was also next to the custodial closet and could hear everything. The room was just okay, but customer service HORRIBLE.

This place was fantastic! Priced reasonably and great location, with amazing service and nice continental breakfast. Super good deli market on site and the grounds are so pretty and serene with benches, tables and chairs to sit back and relax or on your patio. Highly recommend staying here!

My stay was good it could have been better i picked this hotel because on the Hotels.com page this hotel came with breakfast included and then when i paid i didn't notice the free continental breakfast i didn't mind that i know it was my fault for not double checking but at 8:30am when i went in for the continental breakfast there was only 2 pieces of pastry and really nothing else never seen anything that cheap before and then when i go to the store and sandwich shop on property that is advertised on there site found out that they are closed on Sundays what kind of business is closed on the most occupied day i had to go 15 miles the other way when i checked out to get something to eat this hotel doesn't even have a soda machine on property

Excellent location, nice propety. It had a creek going tbrough the property. The room is nice. Its an excellent place for the value of money. The only improvement is the breakfast, which is a bit too simple. No hot choices.
