food service was not the best and the buffets were ick. brazilian and italian restaurants were great all around. Rooms were updated but not clean. the beach could have been combed of seaweed. 500 meters down they were raked and covered free of seaweed. it was not a bad experience but overall we expected more. the check i. process was good as was the check out - they were very helpful. overall all service was given with happiness.

The good: Rooms were generally clean and well serviced. Staff was friendly and helpful. The beach wasn’t too crowded and the pools were clean and well kept up. Food was good, particularly the Japanese à la carte restaurant. The resort grounds were well kept and nice to walk around. The not so good: Sargassum on the beach was the worst we've seen. 3ft high piles coming 10ft+ up the beach. People had to climb over mountains of trash-filled weeds to get to the water. I understand there's nothing that can be done about it in the water, but other resorts we've been to had tractors and clean-up crews in the early morning to at least keep it under control. Here no attempt was made to clean it off the beach the whole week we were there. The only shallow pool is where the swim-up bar is. Combine that with the pool-side entertainment which is geared towards adults, and the one shallow pool is not great for younger kids. All other quieter pools are 6-7 feet deep. I'm fine with the swim-up bar and party vibes, but don't put it in the one pool suitable for kids. Several people in our party got violently ill part way through. Our suspicion is one of the buffets. Others were complaining about sore throats overnight; we looked in the air filters in the rooms and they were black with dirt and dust. The evening shows were already scheduled pretty late (9:30PM) and then frequently did not start until well after 10PM. No earlier entertainment for those with younger kids.

The pool closes by 6:00 PM which is not good at all. There is nothing around the resorts, no access to the city nor any other place, so the pool is one of the places that should be accessible and open until 10:00 PM like may other resorts and hotels

My family and I had an amazing experience at The Grand Sirenis Punta Cana! The resort was absolutely beautiful, and the pool area quickly became my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and every meal felt like a treat. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — always friendly, attentive, and smiling. The nightly shows and karaoke were so much fun and gave the resort such a lively atmosphere. We truly had the best time and can’t wait to come back again soon!

Loved the staff and the waterpark, good food for the price point, clean room, well kept beautiful property, but there was a lot of seaweed in the water that is not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but it made the seaside pretty nasty. It’s pretty sad. We also found some of the drinks to be not as good as they could’ve been, in that if u like blended drinks none of the slushy machines seem to work.

The room here was nice enough, but the food and drinks were horrible. Food quality was not good. 3 of our group of 6 got sick for a day. It is extremely hard to book reservations, which force you into the buffet that has no variation from day to day. We were able to get a reservation at the habachi restaurant, and that was the worst hibachi I've ever had. The restaurants were half full at best, which is why it is so hard to get reservations in the first place. The drink selection was not good at all. I have no idea what branded liquors we were served. I think the bartenders were guessing at the proper ratios. The pool was clean, but the vast majority of it was like 7ft deep, and made most of it uninhibited while everyone was crowded in the small area where you didn't have to tread water. There was one swim up bar with about 6 spots to accommodate for everyone. We went to the waterpark for an hour one day. We left with red backs due to how rough the slides were. Overall, don't wast your money here. They really cheap out on everything and you feel it. There is also a lot of pressure to buy cigars, jewelery, activities, etc. I know there are a lot of good reviews here, but beware. They are fishing for good reviews, and loading the reviews. Just find somewhere else.

We do NOT recommend this resort! Spent 6-day at this resort, and it was by far the worst resort we have ever stayed at (and we’ve been to 7 different all-inclusive resorts in both the DR and Cancun). Staff & Service We received zero service at this resort. We constantly had to flag down staff to get drinks or have plates cleared. Most staff members spoke very little or no English, even at the front desk. Besides language barrier, there was no desire to help. We barely got any greeting during the entire stay. Staff shooed my daughter away while she was asking for water. my husband, was with three kids, was at the candy station and asked for gummies. The staff rolled her eyes at him (gave him nasty attitude) and only gave one gummy per child at a time. Room The "queen" bed was actually closer to a full-size bed, and the mattress sagged badly in the middle. The hairdryer was broken, the refrigerator didn’t get cold (more like room temperature), and we couldn’t pump out the shower gel. The safe was not open. We had to call three times and wait an entire night for someone to come and fix it. Out of the 4 issues we reported, only two were fixed, and that required long waits and multiple follow-ups. Facilities The property is poorly maintained. E.g., there were broken bricks on the pathways Cleanliness cockroaches and flies in the dining areas all the time, there was fly on my plate. Food: food was not good or fresh, staff used hand without glove to grab/handle/serve food.

Es la primera vez que visito un hotel y área del buffet tiene mal olor en la entrada. Era algo inaceptable, adicional los cuartos tienen poca limpieza. Hicimos 4 reservaciones y del los 4 cuartos solo 1 estaba bien. Lo que está en expedia, no es lo mismo que los encontramos, tuvimos que comer fuera un día porque estábamos hambrientos y no queríamos de esa comida. El entretenimiento fue lo único bueno y el food truck. Para nada que me vuelvo alojar en este hotel. Era el cumpleaños de mi hija y no la pasamos como lo planificado.

One of the worse Resorts I’ve stayed. I was under the impression this resort was recently renovated for which I was expecting the condition of the rooms to be in great or decent condition. As I walked into the room the smell of mold was terrible not to mention all the mold in the shower area. There was a constant puddle of water around the toilet. The shelf that held the mini refrigerator was about to break. The decor in the room terrible. When we got to the pool noticed that there was mold all around the pool edge, specially around the pool. Some of the staff was very rude and unprofessional. I would never go back to this resort nor recommend anyone I know to make the mistake of going to this place

They ran out of food every night. No room service was available, rooms were very dirty

La habitación huele a humedad, y el aire acondicionado se apaga todas las noches y no hay forma de encenderlo, hacía mucho calor en la noche, y el último día encontré una cucaracha en la habitación, las bebidas son artificiales, hechas a base de polvo, no de las frutas en sí, la piña colada hecha a base de polvo de piña, horrible, no la recomiendo.

The roof was leaking in our room. The staff did nothing about it except wipe the floor (on multiple requests). Food is awfull. The cleaning lady didn't came for 3 days even when we requested it. Staff look like they don't want to be there at all. There is no intimacy on the balcony since it's shared with the room next door. Food is awfull. I know I said it, but I'll repeat it : Food is A-W-F-U-L-L. It has nothing to do with the Grand sirenis in Riviera Maya (this one is great). Oh and we had a huge cockroach in the bathroom. And the curtain was broken. And there was mold in the bathroom. Annnnnnd... I think that's it. They would have to pay me to go back there!

Mold smell in bedrooms. Most hotel staff were unfriendly and unwilling to help although we spoke their language. My husband found 3 ants inside of his coffee. We waited 2 hours for bedding materials (for the signed) for our children, we called until they even stopped answering our phone calls and did not get the help until we threatened to speak to their supervisor. No towels were provided for excisions. No water bottles either although it is all inclusive. I had a piece of wool stuck between my teeth after eating a piece of meet. The beach is no longer usable, it has a crazy amount of seaweeds and the beach area just looks dirty and unkept. I would encourage people to not eat at the water park, the food is really bad even worse than the resort restaurants. The free juice bar, is a waste of materials, they do not know how to make fresh juices…

If you value cleanliness, working air conditioning, and basic hospitality—look elsewhere. I booked Grand Sirenis for our annual back-to-school family trip, hoping for a clean, family-friendly getaway. Instead, my first room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days: reused sheets with hair, four dead bugs, mold in the vents, toothpaste splattered mirrors, and a dirty bathtub. When I complained, I was told no other rooms were available—until hours later, when I was moved to another room. Unfortunately, this one has had a broken A/C for three nights straight, staying at 27.5°C despite three “repairs.” As an asthmatic traveling with my asthmatic son, this is not just uncomfortable—it’s dangerous. We’ve spent more time dealing with problems than enjoying our vacation. I travel multiple times a year and can overlook average food or entertainment, but not unsafe conditions and poor service. This was my first visit to Grand Sirenis, and it will absolutely be my last.

This resort did not match the photos or the advertised amenities. “Unlimited à la carte restaurants” were unavailable for the first three days due to closures and system issues, so we were forced to eat buffet only—and only one buffet was open. The property was dirty and poorly maintained, with mold, worn rooms, sewage smells, trash-covered beach, bird droppings on chairs, and common bathrooms repeatedly without soap. The buffet had dead bugs, mold, leaking ceilings, and old food sitting out. There was no poolside service, lobby AC didn’t work, and staff often ignored guests unless tipped first. One employee yelled “WANT TIP!” at my 12-year-old daughter. Another demanded money for a simple cheese pizza at an all-inclusive. We had a full day with no hot water, moldy-smelling rooms, inconsistent towel service, and visible neglect across the property. When I posted an honest review during my stay, our room keys suddenly stopped working and staff refused to help for hours. I have photos and videos documenting everything. This was the least clean and least professional resort I’ve ever visited, and I cannot recommend it.

It was the WORST experience ever! DON’T GO! THIS HOTEL IS A TOTAL SCAM! ROOMS are dirty, not maintained at all: drawers are not closing properly, toilet paper holder is falling apart, cracks and rust on the walls and floors, dirt even after cleaning. STUFF is not polite, not attentive, not eager to help and serve at all. Almost everyone didn’t know how to speak English and looked sad like they are SLAVES there. FOOD is HORRIBLE! Almost disgusting. The same meals every day. No variety at all. Weird seafood salads ( that caused diarrhea). Our kids ended up eating buns with butter every day. Food preparation process wasn’t held properly: no gloves used by cooks, surfaces weren’t cleaned well. Dishes and glasses were dirty and looked very old/used/scratched. WATER in the buffet and restaurants tasted very bad. Entertainment was on very low level. Yoga classes were held on the cement floor right next to buffet. Same annoying song: ANIMACION SUPER was playing all the time. Pools smell like sewer. It was total disappointment. They should be sued for FALSE ADVERTISING OF this hotel. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR hotel!!! SO PLEASE PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM Grand Sirenis.

This place is a joke, don’t ever go here. Their whole resort is very outdated with the exception of the ULC area. Seems like most of their focus is only to better the ULC. Second, the room the gave us was not cleaned and the washroom had a dirty tub with black grim and a broken toilet seat. Also worth noting is that their plugs were not working and I needed this to plug in a medical device. When I went to the concierge to complain they said I needed to fill out a report and that it could take the whole day to fix. I asked if there was another room available as I had just checked in and they said no which is highly unlikely due to the low season. We decided to stay and then got a service call on the last day asking if everything was good, I told them this is the worst resort I have ever been too and would never come back. The person that spoke to me said I would’ve given you a new room which was great if I wasn’t leaving the next day already. There is definitely a lack of supervision and the employees just do as they please. Example of this is at the pool buffet; all the staff just hide in the middle room and no one cleans the dishes and the place was absolutely trashed during lunch. I saw a whole plate of spill on the ground and no one cleaned for the hour I was in the restaurant, I also had to wait for plates for 30 mins. The Ala Cartes are no better, the service was slow and at Route 66 they sat us in a booth and I fell in through because the booth was broken. Not a 5 star!

The resort overall is beautiful. I only leave reviews when I have amazing service and terrible. This is a mixture of both. Beware they only have minimal restaurants open each night. We went the first day to book ALL the nightly dinners for the week. We were told everything was booked and the buffet was the only option, which is subpar at best. We were missing the remote in our room and finally got it the last day prior to leaving after 6 to 7 requests. Our room was hot and we called everyday only to hear everything is working as expected while our other parties room were cold. On a bright note, the servicing staff was top notch and treated us like family. Overall, you pay for you get. This is a good resort but don't expect too much.

We stay for 7 days, the resort have beautiful amenities and has a lot of potential, the problem are the rooms, I have email the property to request a room with easy access because my husband just had surgery and have difficulties for long walks, I never received a response. When we arrived i ask and there was nothing available and the room I book from the photos was not available as well. When we received the room that was all the way at the end line of the property it was a big disapointment, the floor was dirty, very small "family room", garbage can on the bathroom broke, door very difficult to open, shower clog and as a result water coming outside to the hall. Water park was nothing like you see on the photos online, it is very old color are fade it, screws on the slides are uneven and very little water on them as a result kids have to push themselves down. Also the beach was completely full of sargasso. Will I come back? absolutely NO.

The rooms and bathroom were a bit outdated.

Everything was excellent except the fact that the ac wasn’t working and the room that was exchanged was next to a septic tank system and there were a bunch of bugs by the door of the room.

Hotel with good staff but equipped with slightly above average rooms and facilities -- the rooms are a little small for a family of four, but good enough if you don't intend to spend much time in there. You can skip the thematic restaurants and stick only to the main buffet, which has always a good variety of hot and cold foods. Also, if you don't want to waste a morning going around the property on a sales pitch tour for their "Ultimate Leisure Club" membership, just say "no" if the Concierge staff offers you the "Premium Breakfast" (spoiler alert: it's also worse than the main one, anyway).

While the staff provides exceptional service, the condition of the rooms leaves much to be desired.

We were very disappointed that not all of the restaurants were available. With that said, it made it very difficult to get reservations to the 2 per night restaurants that were available. The buffet option was always there but the food did not change. Don't advertise 7 restaurants if that is not an option. Our room was very dirty and was in need of some TLC. The pull out couch sheets had mold on them. The safe to the room was broken and needed repair. The air conditioning was also not functioning the best. They did send a repair guy and he cleaned the filters which helped a bit. The room had a musty smell. We have stayed in all inclusive(s) before but this was by far the most disappointing experience. This hotel is not a 5 star resort and should be rated 3.5 at best.

Room did was not in good condition. Shower ceiling was leaking a bit their was not hooks in the bathroom for towels or clothes to dry off. Or to grab after the shower. The food choices and quality was poor. Something simple as the rice was not cooked well and was almost like a pudding. The staff was very helpful around the resort and made us feel welcome. The front desk wanted to come to the room to fix the issue but in a honesty. If they make us wait till 3 pm for check in and hand us the room the room should not have a issue plus the safe box was not bolted down to prevent someone walking away with our valuables after them entering. Would i recommend this place just for the water park and staff no pick somewhere else. Money is hard earned and we needed to relax and forget a bit.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Upon arrival, we were given a room with a broken curtain, which we requested to be fixed five times, but it was never addressed, compromising our privacy. Additionally, the room lacked toilet paper, and it took over an hour for it to be delivered, causing significant inconvenience. Further issues included an exposed electrical outlet, which posed a safety risk to my 12-year-old child, and a blood stain on the sheets. Given these conditions, I am unable to understand how this hotel is rated as five stars. The overall service was poor, and our complaints were ignored. I have photographic evidence of these issues and request a refund due to the false advertising and the disappointing experience.

Concierges were not very useful, and didn’t care that they weren’t very useful. Our room (particularly the bathroom) was very grimy in comparison to other areas of the resort. Pros: It really is a beautiful resort setting! Many of the wait staff were extremely kind and helpful, and worked hard to meet our needs and answer our questions. The buffet was filled with ample, varied food choices for every meal. I never felt pressured to give or buy while on property; all of the staff were super considerate and respectful. Be aware of: The two gift shops on the beach at the edge of the property are not associated with the resort, although one of the proprietors will claim they are. The excursion hut was staffed by a very engaging man, but all of the prices he quoted for excursions were nearly 200% of what we could find them for on Expedia. Activities were okay, but we weren’t able to make reservations for everything we wanted. Would we go again? Absolutely, but we would go knowing what to expect this time.

I had a great experience with Expedia check-in. The process was smooth and quick. The service was excellent. Woodley and Yaris made everything easier. They were professional, friendly, and very helpful. They answered questions with patience and took care of details without delay. Their support set a positive tone for the whole trip. I really appreciate the effort they put into making sure everything went well. I would definitely recommend Expedia because of the service provided by Woodley and Yaris.

From the moment we checked in, we knew it was going to be bad. The majority of the staff was rude and unhelpful. The food was awful, the liquor options at every bar was bottom shelf at best, and all the rules this place had for being an “all inclusive”‘resort were unbelievable. My son called this an all “exclusive” resort with all the red taped associated with this place. Room service staff was horrible and there are only 5 meal options included for free. On top of that, you can only order 5 plates. Therefore, weren’t able to order an entree and salad for everyone. Do not waste your money. This was the worst experience ever and we could not wait to leave. The staff was more helpful getting us checked out than they were making our time there enjoyable. This is a 1 out of 5 stars for food, service, and staff. I checked with other travelers on 2 different excursions to see if they had the same experiences at their resorts and was told no. We even turned down the chance to win a free weeks vacation in a raffle to any of this chains resorts all over the world because of how terrible this was. We wouldn’t come back if this place was free.

Lacking staff, dirty facilities, impossible to make restaurant reservations, food in buffet only 50 percent acceptable, room and sheets smell of mildew. At times could smell sewage in the dining hall. Misadvertisement of what is available at the resort, half of restaurants clised due to it not being high season. Very disappointed. Concierge services just try to sell you things, but provide misinformation otherwise. The concierge told us we qualified for a premium breakfast on one occasion and there was going to be a raffle in which we could participate if we wanted to, but it turned out when we showed up that we had to participate in presentation for vacation ownership to get the premium breakfast. The whole experience literally and figuratively left a bad taste in our mouth...

Everything was great at this resort! Very clean rooms, services was amazing and the beach/pool was great! Special thanks to Mario, the bartender by the Exclusive Bar- he made our stay extra special by serving us tasty drinks and jamming with us! Will definitely be back:)

Was peak season for seaweed and the resort didn’t make any attempt to clean the beach. There as a massive amount of seaweed. They couldn’t been able to keep the beach clean but they weren’t even trying at all…

Hotels.com (and Expedia) intentionally lets you book teens as adults so your cost looks much lower than it should. When you check-in at the desk with Expedia flags all over it, they start on the rehearsed skit saying you owe a difference. I can afford to pay the difference, but I shouldn’t have to pay more than the contracted price. Small claims court in Oklahoma, here I come! Resort is beautiful, food is pretty terrible, bug bites in bed, some workers are amazing and others hate their lives, about an hour from the airport with nothing to do around it

It is an hour away from punta Cana airport. Food buffet should have more vegetarian options and keep pork & bacon grilling in a separate grill than using the same grill for all types of meat for those who doesn’t eat pork. Staff and activists are very good. Highly recommend for families with kids

I am Dominican and I can say- FOOD WAS MID. Beach is ugly this time of year (expected) strong smell of humidity/mold/mildew. bathroom design sucks-- water everywhere because of the way the showers are. but people were very very nice, they were helpful all the time! My daughter became ill, and everyone who noticed while I was on my way to medic (visit was $250+ so stay healthy lol) -- they made an effort to check up on me and my fam. making sure my daughter was okay. That is the culture and that's why I love DR. :) **DON'T get talked into tours at the punta cana airport, they are TRASH**

The beach was terrible! It was filled with seaweed, and it was impossible to go in the water. The seaweed had e terrible smell as well. The resort wasn’t doing much in cleaning it. I expected turquoise water and white sand beaches, like in the pictures they post, and got dirty beaches and muddy water instead. It was very disappointing! Definitely won’t go back there, or in Punta Cana in general.

The entire service and attention was impeccable. Great atmosphere and great food

The pool and swim up bar was nice. The Smell in the room was horrible. No matter how much times they came to clean the smell was always there. The buffet was not the best. Breakfast was amazing, but dinner was horrinle. The hospitality was amazing!! The staff was the best and so accommodating

Poor restaurant choices. Food average if not below average. They separate you out a lot when booked through expedia, felt like the lowest package there is… staff was great!

Was disappointed with the lack of activities/shows/things to do at the resort. The buffet was standard, but the same choices night after night. The biggest issue was that all the restaurants were booked out days in advance. We had mentioned when booking 6 mon prior we were celebrating a big birthday, but couldn’t get a reservation on any of the nights we were there. Also, kayaking wasn’t available during our stay.

Overall- this is a good option for budget minded families as long as service and food are not a priority The bad- the food was subpar compared to other all inclusives. The themed restaurants and the reservation system is not good. Make your reservations as soon as you get on property or you will only have 930pm option. Customer service was poor overall. There were a few standouts such as mario the battender. Most employees were apathetic and showed no signs of thy8ng to help. We made a reservation for asian rsstaurant for 915pm . We made th reservation at 7pm. When we got to restaurant the hostess would not ho or our reservation becuase it was not on her list that she printed probably at 5pm despite our email confirmed . The good Grounds are beautiful and well kept. A lot to do on property. Waterpark is great but avoid on weekends as locals and other resorts can access which led to a crowd.

We were very disappointed that not all of the restaurants were available. With that said, it made it very difficult to get reservations to the 2 per night restaurants that were available. The buffet option was always there but the food did not change. Don't advertise 7 restaurants if that is not an option. Our room was very dirty and was in need of some TLC. The pull out couch sheets had mold on them. The safe to the room was broken and needed repair. The air conditioning was also not functioning the best. They did send a repair guy and he cleaned the filters which helped a bit. The room had a musty smell. We have stayed in all inclusive(s) before but this was by far the most disappointing experience. This hotel is not a 5 star resort and should be rated 3.5 at best.

The room here was nice enough, but the food and drinks were horrible. Food quality was not good. 3 of our group of 6 got sick for a day. It is extremely hard to book reservations, which force you into the buffet that has no variation from day to day. We were able to get a reservation at the habachi restaurant, and that was the worst hibachi I've ever had. The restaurants were half full at best, which is why it is so hard to get reservations in the first place. The drink selection was not good at all. I have no idea what branded liquors we were served. I think the bartenders were guessing at the proper ratios. The pool was clean, but the vast majority of it was like 7ft deep, and made most of it uninhibited while everyone was crowded in the small area where you didn't have to tread water. There was one swim up bar with about 6 spots to accommodate for everyone. We went to the waterpark for an hour one day. We left with red backs due to how rough the slides were. Overall, don't wast your money here. They really cheap out on everything and you feel it. There is also a lot of pressure to buy cigars, jewelery, activities, etc. I know there are a lot of good reviews here, but beware. They are fishing for good reviews, and loading the reviews. Just find somewhere else.
