Loved our big double queen room, and it was quiet and clean and comfortable. The pool needs some work as it didn’t appear clean, and the pool room needs air circulation, or else it feels like a chemical sauna in there. It was so hot and stuffy that the pool itself didn’t cool anyone off. Staff at front desk were surly throughout our stay. Wish breakfast ended at 10am instead of the earlier time.

Room and facilities were really clean with the exception of the pool and hot tub. The hot tub smelled badly of must and there was a layer of film. Jets also barely worked. Breakfast was decent looking from what i saw others eating, however by about 815am most was gone. I waited about 25min and it didnt get refilled so i left. They were fully booked. Otherwise facilities were very clean. Rooms were fresh and comfortable.

Room was larger than I expected and very comfortable. Great location just minutes from the festival. Nice indoor pool and spa. My kids loved the “pancake printer” at breakfast. We look forward to staying again in future!

The front desk at Check-in lied about the Broken Spa that was Broken after I specifically drew interest in using it. It didn’t have Jets working in Jacuzzi Spa!! And their Pool is ICE COLD Temperature!!! Very unhappy. I could have booked at another Hotel that had these amenities, though it wasn’t a Known Brand like this one. Also the Vents above the Jacuzzi were very Old- Rusty and Uncomfortable to be in that area. I felt almost sick just being in the Pool Area. I would strongly suggest this Hotel to live up to its name and fix these issues immediately and refund my stay. Although the room is clean and Beds are very comfortable.

I decided to use your Jacuzzi a couple hours before I was to go to the Shakespeare Festival and your chlorine count was so high that my eyes were absolutely burning and continue that way until I made my way to the drugstore to buy some drops and medicine. I called down to the front desk to see if there’s anything they could do if they had any drops whatsoever and was told no in a very uncaring way. When we went down to the front Dess to go to our festival, I told the other girl same thing she was a little bit better and then she actually offered to go to her home and bring some drops back but it would’ve been after we were already at our festival so that would not have helped. As we were leaving the next morning, I decided I should let the front desk manager know so that no one else will be inconvenienced like I was. Each person I spoke to regarding this said that they were aware of the problem and that management was aware of the problem, but there was nothing they could do. Very disappointing.

We have stayed at this property about 3 times before as we love the restaurant behind it. This time, however, will be our last. The hotel was gross. The shower had pink fungus growing on it. The curtains would not close so at 5:30 am we had a fully bright room with a 4month old baby. We called the night we checked in and let them know of these concerns and they said they had no rooms and they could do a partial refund. The next day the manager said they offered you an additional room last night ( untrue, the front desk said they had no rooms to move me into, as this is what I was actually asking for) and she offered to give me a $30 lol. That actually made me laugh. See the pictures and judge for yourself. We will never be staying here again.

This was the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at. Our room was very clean! The bedding and linens were clean and smelled like they were just laundered. We loved our pillows and wish we could have kept them! We were surprised when we saw our room had a coffee maker with coffee, a microwave, and a fridge. The lady that checked us in was very sweet. She told us to let her know if we needed anything at all. We have stayed in many hotels. This one surpassed our expectations. Housekeeping works really hard here and it shows. Our family was blessed to be able to rest our heads here for the night!

I stayed here last year in January 2024 and my experience was excellent, so I decided to come back and stay here again this year. When I got to my room the bathroom floor was dirty, and the sheets had spots in it. The pillows smell of the previous guest odor and the blinds were tattered. When I called the front desk, he immediately came up and tried to fix the problems and changed the sheets and pillowcases. He also tried to mop the floor but it looked like the stain in the bathroom floor was hard to remove and so the stain remained.

The hotel is nice but the room is so noisy I got practically no sleep. The fridge clicked on and off all night and was so loud. The heater, same thing. The shower had zero water pressure so I couldn’t wash my hair. If you’re a heavy sleeper and bald, this place is for you.

The room and common inside areas were fine, but they gave us a room with the world’s worst view almost completely behind their sign. To make it worse; disgusting actually, the window was filthy and there are 6”piles of pigeon poop dominating the view of the back of the sign.

We had a pleasant stay here. It was a comfortable room and bed and the employees were very friendly. However, the shower was not hot, but lukewarm at best. All in all, it was a good stay for the price.

Checking in, the 1st 3 cc’s that I used were declined. The desk clerk kept looking at me with other guest waiting until he finally figured out that it was his system that was faulty. After resetting it. No apology, just handed us the room key. He acted like he did not care on way or the other! Very poor service!!

The facilities were clean, the staff was courteous. Generally, our stay was very pleasant. We were in Ashland to attend the Shakespeare Festival and our stay at the hotel turned out to be “A Comedy of Errors.” Small things went wrong, nothing big. Upon arriving we opened the door to our room and someone else was already in there—a staff error. They made up for the error by upgrading us to a suite. The new room had an empty body wash dispenser in the shower. We informed the front desk, but nothing was done. Our room keys didn’t work on the door when we came back very tired the second night, so we had to return to the lobby to get new keys. But, I don’t want to make “Much Ado About Nothing.” It was mostly a very pleasant experience.

Clean and modern hotel. You are about a 5-minute drive from the crowds in downtown. For a good selection of restaurants, you will have to drive to downtown and hunt for parking. I especially appreciated the Tesla superchargers next door. It is easy to access from the freeway. I would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful staff! We arrived earlier than expected and our room was ready for us. It was a little noisier than we had hoped, as it was less than 1/4 mile from the freeway. But, turn the fan on and you won't hear a thing! Breakfast was good, could use another table or two. A young couple decided they needed to sit next to each other, so took up 2 of the 6 available tables. No biggie for us, another older couple arrived just as we did, so we shared. Front desk was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about food opportunities and full of smiles! We were too tired to do any exploring so know nothing about the area. We were very glad we chose Holiday Inn!

We stayed one night on our way to California and absolutely loved it. I stay at a lot of hotels on my work travels, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ashland was cleaner than most large hotels I stay at. The free breakfast was great - cheese omelettes, sausage, bacon, pancakes, hot and cold cereal, bagels, breads and muffins, coffee, juice, etc. And bottles of water are complimentary. We will definitely stay there again!
