Very cool Windsor style architecture, spacious, pool, big breakfast space. Dog friendliest ever, complete with top sheet and biscuit for dog at check-in and two dog potty spots. 7 minutes drive from downtown Ashland and Saheksphere.

More Bavarian than old English but rooms are large and immaculate. They are very dog friendly with a nice, lit dog walking spot. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Room was quiet and comfortable. My only suggestion would be improved lighting at the driveway entrance as it is hard to find in the dark.

Tudor styled motel keeping with the Ashland Shakespearean theme. The guy manning the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. Room was a typical motel room - but, somewhat dark. It had a refrigerator but no microwave. We were on the second floor - be aware that they do not have elevators. We chose this inn because of the pool - unfortunately, kids had been in it all day so it was filled with plant debris. We still went in for a minute to cool off - shallow jacuzzi. They have a very nice breakfast - the breakfast room was large and nice - they also had outdoor seating, Breakfast included coffee and various juices, bagels and muffins, oatmeal with toppings, pancake makers, cereals, hard boiled eggs, those weird scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurts and fruits.

Great property. I loved the pet care package. The staff was super friendly. And the continental breakfast was pretty substancial. We did have a few ants in our bathroom and there was some hair in the tub. Otherwise the room was clean.

Quiet and bed was comfortable. Room was very dark and dreary. It had old carpet that took on a smell that was hard to ignore. Need flooring that can be cleaned. Pool was comfortable temp. We did enjoy that. It had a full breakfast that was ok too.

Stopping on our way back to crazy California. Very pleasant stay. Immaculate care of the facility. Immaculate cleanliness of the room and accoutrements. Great staff. Great breakfast, and, wait for it, the best coffee I’ve had besides my own roasts and brews.

MY GOD... Where to start? When you walk in, the staff is courteous and friendly. The entry is nice. Then things tumble from there. The back entrance to the entire facility isn't locked. You can just open it without a key. This will figure into what I discuss later. The carpets - in the hallway and in the rooms - are stained... ALL OF THEM. The bathroom in the room wasn't fully cleaned when we got there and the floor matt had holes in it! We were terrified to even touch the cover on the bed. The ice machine rattled and was in an isolated area with trash around it. The next morning when we woke up to leave, we stepped into the elevator to discover the floor was soaked in URINE! I've never EVER seen such a disgusting hotel in my life - and certainly didn't expect this from a reputable, national chain. We will NOT be going back to that hotel, nor that chain again. P.S. I took pictures, but can't upload them here. Bummer. But I saved you the shock of how gross it was, so you're welcome.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and provided a wine bottle opener and glasses when requested. Great area for dogs to walk and nice facility for dogs. The rooms are spacious, clean comfortable and there’s a separate toilet bath area from the sinks and make up area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Front desk staff was standoffish and curt, as if paying guests are an inconvenience. The lobby has no guest restroom so travelers have to hold it while they check in. He made no attempt to be courteous, or to help direct me to a restroom that could be accessed before checking in. Some 'long term' resident was lurking around the lobby and trying to get our attention while we were checking in, which was distracting and creepy. In the rooms the hot water took an inordinantly long time to get going, and when asked about the problem the front desk guy was, again, standoffish and put-out. The walls are paper thin, you can hear toilets flushing in other rooms!

The location is out of the way, but it is close to a few restaurants. The main issue was that the shower was terrible, it was in between settings and had no water pressure. Also, the TV didn’t work at all and while the property was relatively empty when we stayed there, they put us right at the top of the stairs. They had a tendency to cluster everyone in a single area which made for a noisy stay and poor sleeping. The rooms are dark with only one window And the decor adds to the darkness. The check-in staff was barely friendly. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Property was in a good location, close to freeway access. Great breakfast and free EV charging. Shower pressure is extremely low, feels like you're watering/sprinkling your indoor plants. Pressure is so low it's almost nonexistent. Front desk staff can be a little more friendlier.

We stayed at the Windsor for one night before going deeper into Ashland for the rest of our stay. The location is not convenient if you are going to the plays, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The room was large and spotlessly clean. We got a room with a jetted tub in the room - very nice, though only big enough for one. We would stay here again.

Room 303. As soon as we checked in we mentioned to the front desk that out sink would not drain. Filled with water and was not useable. They said they would have someone come in the morning. In the morning a spanish speaking woman showed up with a plunger. Didnt return after explaining that it was the sink. Apparently the office thought my toilet was backed up and were perfectly happy with keeping us without a working toilet, if this was in fact the issue we had. The staff should have been more on top of this. Never heard back from the front desk. 2 nights 3 days without a working sink. Also, the toilet in room 303 had an issue and water was running all day and night. Kept us awake both nights. Will not stay here again! This is why we typically stay away from Best Western.

Alright, I’ve stayed here at least 5 times in the last 10 years and must say this time will be the last. The room was dirty, with cobwebs everywhere and live spiders in the ceiling corners. The hot water for shower lasted less than 3 minutes, the breakfast was terrible this time, with the “omelette” being cold and gross, like it was heated up from yesterday. The bread was also super stale. Luckily (and the only saving grace) was the pancake maker since it makes it fresh on the spot. I saw several other people take a bite of their plate and walk straight to the trash and out the door. The hair dryer tripped the GFCI outlet over and over again with nothing else plugged in. Will not be staying here anymore.

Fine experience for two nights. Best thing: the staff. Particularly because I stupidly left my camera tripod at the edge of the parking lot when I was unloading a lot of gear to move inside. Next morning I had no idea where it was. Checked the front desk and a staff member had turned it in. Saved me a lot of money. On the other hand, the provided breakfast was at the low end of expectations. But it sufficed.
