Room was large and comfortable but the small courtyard seemed old and unkempt. (Dirty water in the rectangular fountain could have been filled with colorful stones, instead it looked like putrid pond water) When it’s a spa resort I expected attention to detail. The spa was beautiful yet crowded and although the facials were lovely it was $320 for an hour (including tip). The large pool in the family area is stunning and was heated to perfection. Solbar is delicious and service was excellent.

I love this property - the spa, infrared sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, regular pools, taco bar, Shante at front desk, the rooms, the EV chargers, the bikes. my only complaint was that i left my credit card during my trip at the main restaurant and no one notified me - despite having my exact name on the card - which would be expected at this high end of a resort.

This was our 5th visit to Solage. Property is amazing however service quality has gone down a bit. Used to be a true 5 star resort now closer to 4. The pool are was dirty with catchup and food everywhere. Pool bar is rather odd. We are not in Mexico, so I don’t want to listen to only Mexican music for 5 days next to pool and only drink Tequila and Mezcal. Just strange fit for Napa and Auberge typical luxury. Car service was laughable as we were turned away with each request, too far, not available, could be a while…. At 9:35 we stopped in Solbar for desert and were turned away that they were already closing. Our room was very nice but next to kiddie pool so trying to enjoy patio was challenging and noisy. Spa, location and property is amazing but not run anymore like a 5 star. We stay at Auberge properties all the time but this one seems to be getting away from them.

The pool was not heated so it was too cold to swim which is very disappointing. I thought it was a hot spring apparently not since water was cold. Not going back in this hotel.

It was our first time in Napa and this property was perfect for us as it was near amazing vineyards and Oat Hill Miine trailhead for great hiking. The pool and public spaces are frequented by families, however The Bathhouse and Spa areas are great and more quiet for adults. Food and beverage quality and staff was phenomenal.

Amazing experience and there was a great level of attention to detail in everything. We played pickleball daily and then relaxed in the bathhouse. What’s not to like about it.

Impeccable property absolutely beautiful accommodations. The grounds are so beautiful with rosemary and olive trees everywhere. The bathhouse is extreme relaxation, and the spa treatments were amazing. Simply the best.

This was my sixth time at this hotel- I keep coming back for the amazing adults-only, serene spa pools, wonderful accommodations in villas nestled in a thoughtfully designed landscape where you feel like you’re worlds away… great restaurant, but I wish they changed the menu more often- it’s been the same since mid 2022!

Excellent outdoor pools. Could be a great wellness retreat destination. But unfortunately everything is geared toward destination events or luxury indulgence. Not many healthy options for food. Food is also overpriced. Highway right outside the property is quite noisy and detracts from experience, especially if seeking a zen environment.

We paid for an upgraded room with private outdoor fireplace for 5 nights. It rained part of the time, but there were plenty of times when it was dry. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the fireplace even once, because the cushions on the outdoor chairs were soaked and could never dry out due to cold temps. The staff should be provided covers for the cushions (or should remove them) during rainy times. This upgrade was of no value to us. That was very disappointing.

We’ve been coming to Solage for the past three years…it is a perfect getaway from SF- far and close enough- service is excellent, accommodations- incredible, grounds and spa, wonderful. Studio bungalows are perfect for a couple's or girlfriends’ getaway.

Booking a room was a huge splurge for me but it was worth every moment! My favorite part was looking up and seeing beautiful nature all around as far as the eye could see surrounding the resort. Food was amazing, staff was incredible, pools were salt water and so luxurious. The only thing I found that wasn’t impressive was the tv in the room could not be connected to my accounts, the only two options were tv channels or paying $21 to watch a movie. Time to upgrade that Solage!

I’ve stayed here 8 times and the service this time was horrible. The staff seemed angry and were pretty rude. Morning bartender didn’t say a word. Just slammed food in front of us. Rolled his eyes when asked for coffee. Front desk check in had an attitude.

Overall the resort and spa amenities were great. What took our experience to the next level were all the staff we encountered during our stay. From check in, restaurant service, valet, housekeeping and check out, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. One negative aspect of this resort is if you have allergies or scent sensitivity to jasmine, oleander and wax privet (ligustrum), these plants are used throughout the resort which triggered an allergy attack. Luckily, the keep allergy medication on hand at the front desk. Allergy season might make me think twice about my next visit, but other than that I’d definitely stay again.
