This is probably the best hotel we have found for mineral hot springs. There is a hot pool (102-104 degrees), a warm pool (98 - 100 degrees) and a swimming pool that was also quite warm (90 degrees when I was there) The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is because the front door to the room is a glass door and yes, there is a curtain that spans across the door for privacy, but it’s not really possible to use the door and have the curtain there at the same time. I don’t want people looking into my room when I am not there. I tried to close the curtain while standing outside the room, but it is not easy to do so. Other than that, this hotel is truly amazing with great facilities.

This is a lovely spot. They have 3 pools of varying temps. They are outside but there is an awning giving you shade. We found our stay relaxing overall.

Great amenities like corn hole, ping pong, bocce ball, bikes, 2 hot tubs and a large pool. I’ve stayed at Golden Haven a few times now and it just seems to get better every time we visit. The property is off the main road and nestled perfectly away from the somewhat busy downtown area. Everything is still walkable or grab one of there free bikes.

Pool and hot tub were awesome, the facilities were great. Beds were comfortable although personally the pillows were not my favorite. Other than that very minor detail our stay was awesome and we will be coming back!

The only thing about my stay that was pleasant was the check-in staff. Very friendly. Everything inside the room was VERY dated and badly in need of a refresh. I was disappointed to find lumpy pillows and synthetic sheets and pillowcases on the bed, ugly trash receptacles in the middle of the room as well as an unsightly refrigerator. The built-in hairdryer was broken and instead of removing it, they just left an extra one in the bathroom. Noise and smoke wafting through the windows from the outdoor lounge area. Pool and other facilities out of service at the time of my visit. Overall not a great experience.

This spa has it all-from beautiful rooms (we had one with a mineral water tub) to a large mineral swimming pool and two temperatures of hot, smaller pools. They also have massages of all kinds, mud baths, bocci ball, free bikes and other fun things to do. We will definitely return!

Friendly welcome and the hotel had a lovely spa feel. We were given a brief outline of facilities. The mineral pool is beautiful and well kept. There is a grassed area around the back with games and fire pits and pretty strong lights. It was the end to our holiday and it was the perfect end. If you’re looking for a relax, this is the place. I scored the cleanliness low as we returned to our room after a swim and the whole kitchen area was covered in ants. Staff gave us spray and cloths to clean up. Not ideal when we then needed to use the area to cook but the staff were apologetic.

Saw people blowing their noses in the pool. Yuck! Our room was very small as opposed to the lower levels. There was one bar of soap for the entire stay. Sheets felt like they hadn't been changed.

I like the mineral pool and rooms in general. Our room however had this musty smell, especially made worse by AC running . Otherwise , everything else was clean. Bed was great as well as pillows.

The bikes, bocce ball, cornhole and location were great. Way overpriced! Everyone was very nice, not the redhead who checked us in. She did not tell any info about property, handed me a wad of robes. The carpet in the room was damp from previous people going in the hot spring then dripping, smelled and was squishy. Headboard sticky.

The staff were great. We didn’t expect much from the hotel stay but it exceeded our expectations! The bed was comfortable, room was spacious and quiet. The TV had streaming options and cable. We got a room with the mineral tub. It filled quickly and the water was nice and hot! We usually do resort style hotels but took a chance on this place since it was only for one night. Glad we did because it was a gem. We walked to town for dinner and breakfast the next day. Nice stay.

Loved the mineral water swimming pool and two mineral water hot tubs (two different temperatures)! Comfortable room, great bed. My husband enjoyed his massage. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator and Golden Haven is easy walking distance to an upscale grocery store (with a deli) and lots of amazing restaurants. They loan out bikes too. Would definitely return!

The rooms are so quant, complete with vaulted ceilings. Our girls weekend, two bedroom suite, was comfy & immaculate. The property was so clean, safe & cute. The thermal baths were so relaxing!

This is our go-to spot, when we stay in the Napa area. I love the location, tucked into a quiet neighborhood off the main drag, with easy walking access. The staff is welcoming and incredibly helpful! The pools snd grounds are immaculate, and a great place to hang out after a day of wine tasting!

We really enjoyed our two days there. There was construction going on out front that caused some noise. Also, the front desk said we could check in early and then reversed themselves and made us wait 2 hours. Overall though the staff was friendly and the mineral pool and hot tubs are great. Also you can walk to restaurants.

We were put upstairs above the office/laundry. Pool noise and downstairs noise wasn't very relaxing. The dead bolt wouldn't lock from the inside. My husband locked himself out and had to use a CC to get back into the room because the front desk is open all night. I informed the staff at check out, and they made comments that indicated to me they already knew. I told them is was a safety issue and maybe a legal issue. They just stared at me. No: thank you. No: we will let management know. Just "ok". This was an anniversary. Not impressed. Won't stay again.

This was my first time at this hotel, and I've stayed at a few in Calistoga. We were very impressed by the grounds, the pool area, and comforts of the room. Love the extra touches, like fresh fruit infused water and coffee. Lovely backdrop of the mountains. Walking distance to Lincoln Ave. The staff were fantastic- very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely return!

This is our go-to spot, when we stay in the Napa area. I love the location, tucked into a quiet neighborhood off the main drag, with easy walking access. The staff is welcoming and incredibly helpful! The pools snd grounds are immaculate, and a great place to hang out after a day of wine tasting!

About my 3rd or 4th time staying here. It was very relaxing…the mineral pools. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Got a room upgrade too. Very simple, quiet place in a residential neighborhood away from the crowds of Calistoga

The staff was very friendly, check in was very easy. The pool was a great temperature and the hot tub was wonderful. The room was basic but very clean. The bed wasn’t super comfortable. The location is quiet and safe and a short walk to the downtown area

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The outside activities provided a fun evening, and the amenities are a nice add on. I think the only thing I would say that is a negative, is the very narrow driveway.

Such a great, relaxing experience. This is an older property but very, very well maintained. Dining and shopping all within walking distance. The spas and mineral pool were awesome. We were upgraded at arrival which was a very nice perk. All in all the perfect, relaxing experience we were looking for. Will definitely be back!!!

Good service , staff are friendly , room spacious with small ref, microwave and coffee maker . Quiet neighborhood, free bike use , can park car in front of our room so easy access for our belongings, free bottled water and snacks in the room daily , and daily room service . Mud bath and mineral pool on site . The only one missing is that no restaurant on site .

We had an amazing stay at Golden Haven Hot Springs. The property is in excellent condition, especially considering the minerals. There are no facilities for food on site, but calistoga is 10-20min walk away. The kitchenette is useful but could do with some crockery and cutlery. Our king room was very comfortable. We indulged in a mud bath and massage. It was excellent. Shout out to Oscar for looking after us so well in the mud, he was friendly and professional. I would avoid the hotel at the weekends in bachelorette season, there were two groups there toward the end of our stay who were noisy and took over the space with no concern for other guests. The picnic area at the back is beautiful and the games were welcome. Be sure to visit the Geyser. A great property all in all.

We had a great stay. The property is slightly outdated but spacious and quiet. They provide coffee and tea at the office as well as spa water. All of it was delicious. Our room had a nice gas fireplace which was both warm and nice mood setting. We used the free bikes on sight to bike to various places like the geyser. There were also fun lawn toys and ping pong. We had a great stay and would come back.

Loved the mineral water swimming pool and two mineral water hot tubs (two different temperatures)! Comfortable room, great bed. My husband enjoyed his massage. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator and Golden Haven is easy walking distance to an upscale grocery store (with a deli) and lots of amazing restaurants. They loan out bikes too. Would definitely return!

This was my first time at this hotel, and I've stayed at a few in Calistoga. We were very impressed by the grounds, the pool area, and comforts of the room. Love the extra touches, like fresh fruit infused water and coffee. Lovely backdrop of the mountains. Walking distance to Lincoln Ave. The staff were fantastic- very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely return!
