Loved the vibe and the room was nice. The vibe around the hotel was healthy and chill. The bar has good drinks and the kitchen with outdoor seating is perfect for lounging in the sun. Our favorite part was the filtered water available in the lobby and the mineral bath soak pool and cold water bucket dump feature. We will be back for sure.

Dr. Wilkinson’s is the perfect getaway! The location couldn’t be better, right on the main street, with everything within walking distance and incredible wineries less than a 10 minute drive. The pools were relaxing and well-kept, and the staff was beyond friendly and welcoming, especially Jose and Sean who made our stay extra special. Everything you need is right on the grounds, including House of Better, which serves amazing food and fantastic drinks (highly recommend!). This spot really has it all - location, comfort, great amenities, and top-notch hospitality. A+ experience all around - I can’t wait to come back!

Likes: -the vibe -the pools -the services -the amenities -water and ice accessibility (refill stations readily available!) -the food -malin + goetz amenities (use the lotion even if you hate lotion because it's great lotion) Me no likeys: -one of the pools was too cold to swim in -that we didn't stay longer -we didn't bring the kids and I felt guilty -robe was a little small for my husband Also, wished they had one of those spinners to put your bathing suit in to dry it out faster, but this is just a want not a need. Lovely stay! Can't wait to go back, this time with the kids!

Parking and check-in were super easy. This is more of a motel than a hotel or a resort but it was still really nice. It is a walk up window to order food at the restaurant, but the food was pretty good. I wish it had a full bar, but they only had beer and wine and wine-based cocktails. The pools were great, even in the freezing rain. I tried to book us some massages three weeks before our arrival, but they were already booked up so that was pretty annoying but not a big deal. Had to walk to a spa across the street in the rain. The room was spacious and updated and we had a very good night of sleep.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Dr. Wilkinson's! The hotel is cute, mid-century millennial style, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pools were a highlight with three different pools are different temperatures. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the pool and you can order food and drinks from the restaurant to the pool area. They also have cruiser bikes that you can borrow for free and there's a trail right by the hotel. Recommend staying here!

Wonderful. A classic property now modernized in the great and quaint town of Calistoga. This property is a partner of the Marriott. You get your Bonvoy points. Restaurant excellent. Facility spotless. Only negative.. remember this is a motel.. so entrance to rooms from outside, parking lot a ways from entrance to rooms and you will hear some road traffic. But this is a motel.. that has been beautifully remodeled with excellent food and service. Enjoy the mineral spring hot pool and swimming pool. Relax and enjoy the spa after a few winery tours nearby. Worth it.

We liked the warm pool and and the mineral hot tub (hot tub for adult only) the other pool is less warmer but also good. Very clean room and a very pleasant staff. Will try to go back and can definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Dr. Wilkenson’s. The hotel had retro charm with comfortable updated rooms & amenities. Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean. Pools were sparkling. Onsite restaurant, The House of Better, was good & convenient. I indulged in a mud bath & massage and both were wonderful. We can’t wait to visit again.

A quaint inn with clean and comfortable room. I especially commend the young lady who was able to move things around to let me check in 1.5 hr early as I had to change and get to a wedding before the check in time. She was so professional and kind! The only draw back was late night noise, which quieted down around midnight.

Just a very comfortable stay. Clean rooms, and clean property. Parking was convenient and there are alot dining options around the property. Like my daughter said ‘ so many places to sit and relax’ would def come again.

The overall layout was great! The appearance was always clean and tidy, and one area flows into the other. The outdoor seating and picnic area was great immediately adjacent to the food and beverage service. The only recommendation I have is for the front desk staff to either give brief tour or provide map identifying the areas and easiest access to the adult only spa.

The room was clean and nice, but not well furnished or decorated. Most everything was white and plain, so it has a sterile feel. We had a courtyard suite on the bottom floor and there is no insulation from the top floor. You can hear your neighbors stomping around at all hours. Doors to adjacent suites slam shut loudly.

The room was very comfortable, although the heat/ac unit became quite warm and noisy when it kicked on and off. (should have turned if off completely even though it was 45 degrees at night). The room was quiet and the property was a fun place to stay.

First time visiting dr Wilkinson and had a pretty good experience. The mineral pools were nice but I was kind of expecting something different, something more. The room was great, but the bed not so much. It was really hard and woke up stiff both day. Found it hard to sleep soundly through the night. Kind of defeated the purpose of a relaxing stay when you can’t sleep and wake up in pain. But it would fade away once in the waters. Food was great, however there’s not much options around if you want something different. Overall it was a good experience, would consider coming back. Maybe.

Called at 9 AM to ask what time our room was ready. Was told by 2:30 PM. Showed up and the lobby was a mess. People in wet bathing suits waiting for their rooms and it was past 4 PM. Staff at the front desk were rude and discourteous to guests. Manager was told how bad service was. All he said was that he knew that, and they were short staffed. At $300 per night, I expect more. This place is a notch above Motel 6 with disgruntled staff that should work at CA DMV. Avoid at all costs. Food sucks.

We had such a relaxing time at Dr. Wilkinson’s. Whatever issues we did have, Rocchi and Jose were very quick to address and were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our entire 3 night stay. Service at the spa was also top notch - Trina is incredibly experienced and really took care of us.

Great spa hotel. Stayed for one night for wine tasting and hot springs. Location is excellent with a market across the street with restaurants nearby and on property. Access to 3 mineral springs pools (85, 95 and 105 degrees) was included with hotel room. Paid extra for a mud bath spa experience which was pricey but great to do at least once. Glad we planned this the day after wine tasting as the mud bath is very hot. Other than the mineral springs, the highlight was the staff who went above and beyond for any need or request. Tip: bring bug spray if dining in their restaurant as seating is outdoors.

The decor was adorable, first hotel bed in years that I enjoyed sleeping on.the pools were wonderful, so relaxing. The parking was convenient. They could use a larger doggie potty area but we just walked the main drag in front of the hotel and found some grass. Walking distance to all the restaurants. Easy check in and out. Massages were just ok for the price. In my opinion the deep tissue massage was weak. The restaurant on site has good coffee and drinks but the food was nothing special.

Excellent place to stay. Everything was great. The only two TINNNNY things I wish were better were the food at their little restaurant and the water pressure in the room shower. Besides that, place and staff are exceptional and I highly recommend staying here!
