Property is under a big remodel . Not on the best part of town . No EV charging only reason I made the booking at this location . False advertising and I was not the only customer to complain about this . The front desk clerk even told the manager about this and they still have not had this taken down .

I booked this hotel because it said it had an electric car charger, but on arrival I found out it did not have one. This significantly inconvenienced the logistics of my trip since I was not able to charge overnight. Super bummed.

Hall carpets are dirty, and elevator is filthy- had pieces of liter strewn about and food crumbs. Elevator door not working properly, and other guests said its been down several times during their stay. Hot tub jets NOT working. Property feels run-down. Bed clean, but room smelled like listerine and carpet is filthy. Required a $100 hold on credit card, which is over-the-top. Rougher part of town.

The property is in a great location just south of downtown. The staff provided excellent customer service & the free breakfast had so many options. Nice pool & large hot tub. The room could use more outlets & the elevator is extremely slow.

The room was big & clean. It was quiet- We didn’t hear anyone in the rooms around emus. Breakfast was awesome- Wide variety & plenty of it. The hot tub & pool were warm & clean. We loved staying here, & would definitely stay here again!

We felt safe walking the 2-3 blocks to the trolly, which was the main reason we choose this location. Plenty of on site Free parking. It is an older Holiday Inn with one elevator, which was broke during our stay, but the staff did an excellent job of assisting guest. Overall we would stay again

Super clean and the staff was so friendly! The ladies who were in charge of the breakfast were so nice too and kept the area stocked and clean. I also enjoyed that we could open the window in our room so it didn’t feel stuffy. I would book with them again.

Shower tile was falling apart and had broken pieces lying around. The bed sheets were not made correctly. The toilet was so close to the wall your elbow would be touching the toilet paper holder. breakfast was great though!

The property was very modern and clean. The staff were very pleasant and professional. Our room was nicely and thoughtfully layed out. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast especially their coffee. We will definitely return when back in town!

Nice location. Spacious room with 2 queen beds and two tvs, which was a very nice surprise. Shower was awesome. Pillows excellent. Mattress was firm/hard. We had a mini kitchen in our suit which was great. Room smelled bad... combo of possible past traveler's pet urine / mold combo with heavy air freshener. No vent in bathroom to help with shower steam. Staff super nice. Hubby loved the free breakfast. Great ethnic restaurants and doughnut shop within walking distance. Staff went above and beyond keeping our room close to our relatives. Entire hotel smelled like they were covering up odors. As a person with asthma, not sure I would book here again. Otherwise, nice hotel and staff.

The staff was friendly and courteous the hotel was clean But was in serious need of updating the beds should have been replaced a couple of years ago and the carpets were gross and in need of replacing. Also if nothing else stretch them there are ripples in them and it would make them stay cleaner. There was so much street noise in our room could hardly hear the TV

Rooms very clean, quiet and comfortable. View of the pool. Nice stay. Only mild issue was the room (207) had a smell that reminded us of faint bug spray. Our daughter's room had no smell. Overall, nice stay.

The size of the family room is great. The hotel itself is dated and could do with a refurbishment..staff were excellent. Breakfast included was a bonus, however there is limited seating. Over all was a great stay

We loved it. Very quite place to stay. Also something was left behind in our room and we didn’t realize it until we got home. Housekeeping found it and turned it in. We did appreciate it. Friendly staff. Good breakfast too. Every time we go to San Diego this is where we stay always.

Me and my wife were visiting our kids and decided to stay here. We made a wonderful choice to stay here. First we got there before the check in time. Ramona at the front desk help us get a room early and we are so appreciative of it after a six hour flight. Remind went above and beyond for us. We come to San Diego every year and will definitely stay here again.

We had a large party (21 people) and the staff were very accommodating, making sure the rooms were close together and giving extra towels - things like that. The rooms were spacious and spotless and we enjoyed our stay - as our home base for our planned activities.

The hotel receptionist refused to send a bellhop to bring the luggage cart downstairs. They had delivered it to our room then left it in the doorway. I requested the help because my aunt and I are both disabled, using cane and walker. The receptionist refused to send help to move the cart out of the way and was very nasty about it. She was middle-aged, tall and wore heir in a ponytail. I wish I had gotten her name. We overheard her speaking to another customer on the phone about their bill. She was yelling at them, saying they were not looking at the bill correctly. After hearing that, my aunt and I both looked to each other, and said, “That is very unprofessional“.

Good location, close enough to freeway but not right on top of it. We stayed here for a concert at North Island credit union amphitheater. It was about a 10 -15 minute drive. The la Quinta Grill Restaurant across the street was really good food. Hotel was clean and modern. I would stay there again in future.

Property looks newer than the ones I looked into in the same area. It's probaly about a half mile away from the freeway, so it's quiet. It also has good reviews so that's a plus. The free breakfast is lacking in my opinion. The egg omelette does not even taste like one. The only thing I like is the coffee lol. Having said that, I still recommend it.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable no complaints. Quiet rooms. Breakfast was really good. Potatoes was my favorites, variety of items to choose from just wish they had sausage also with the bacon. The one complaint would be is the oatmeal was watery didn’t even try. It didn’t look like it was fully cooked.

Breakfast was fantastic every morning. Hotel was very clean, felt so comfortable in the room because of this. All employees were friendly. Location was nice having close access to HWY 5, all of San Diego was easily accessed.

The hotel is nice, newly renovated, clean. Lots of local restaurants in the area. The room we stayed at is spacious. The mattress on the couch bed is firm and already put together. Lots of USB plugs available. Bathroom area is big. It has wall pump shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hand soap and body lotion available inside. This hotel uses good quality products not generic. The hotel dining area is small but it makes up for the quality of food they serve, again not generic. Not a big fan of their automated pancake maker. It doesn’t cook right. Other than that we are very pleased with the overall service.
