Hotel Milagro

Okay hotel. Only complaint was the only being 6 pillows available for 2 beds, Absolutely no hot water when wanting to shower and the ac unit giving off an electrical buzzing while plugged in

It's a motel, not a hotel. Bathroom was small and a bit dirty on arrival. Wifi didn't work properly the entire time I was there. Friendly staff, pictures don't quite look like the rooms (at least for a single bed in the room). Worked well enough for a last minute booking but probably wouldn't go back. Paying hotel rates for a motel room is a pass.

Great stay there was an elevator for the top two floors it was quiet and I slept very well there. I wasn't asked for a deposit and the staff were friendly. I will definitely stay there again. I felt safe with the safety latch I'm place and I had a good view of my car. Microwave and refrigerator are a definite plus

Check in was efficient and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have more on site parking.

There isnt enough parking for all the guest. Very inconvenient. Not coming back just that. I had to park on the only handicap spot per the staff on-site.

No hot water for the shower. They didnt clean the room for the 3 nights I stayed. They offered a 25 percent refund when I told them there was no hot water in the shower. i hope they do refund.

The only thing I didn’t like not enough parking

The room was a little dirty. When we came back from dinner, the parking lot was full and the front desk said to look for street parking. In the morning other guest were being loud and the surrounding area is a little sketchy.

Hotel is good for the price. Clean and remodeled. Showers need upgrading , low pressure and no true hot water.

The shower water was too cold.

The room and bed sheets were dirty.

Moldy , urine smell in bathroom

Room's floor was sticky, bugs all over room. The paint on the walls was coming off. Beds were at least clean and sheets clean. Some of the towels were stained and dirty looking. Fridge was dirty and had hair in it. Staff were friendly and willing to allow us to check in a little early.

When you first look it looks decent. And the experience was decent as well. But wouldn’t come back. My stay was short, just a weekend. But in that time … no hot water (which they did give a discount) and I saw a roach or two. That big for me. And nasty af. So it’s a no go coming back. Thanks to the cold shower and roaches. Thumbs down.

Room very dirty there was mold in bathroom, the housekeeper didn’t speak English the towel old and dirty you see the bedsheets. I would not recommend these place anybody, stay at own risk

Good place for a safe night to sleep. Only complaint is the bathroom smelled like mildew, the fridge didn’t get cold, and I had bug bites on my legs after waking up.

This property was a bit dirty , dirty shower curtain, dirty floor with hair from previous people. Towels were not clean all the way, I seen some black marks and red marks on them.

I know the rate is cheap but dang, use a brush and clean those floorboards. The electric plugs on the night stands didn’t work so when moved to see why, found numerous mouse droppings next to the bed. Front doors have gaps on the bottom, they must come in a lot. Towels are stained. On the good side place had a fridge and microwave and 2 trash cans.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating but definitely need better cleaning done in the rooms and specially the bathroom. My bathroom wasn’t even cleaned.

A/C was a little loud and made weird noises but worked. For the budget price and only 15 mins drive from downtown, I’m satisfied with my stay.

Can hear through the doors

Easy check-in experience. The room was nice and spacious overall. I liked the windows it was more on the rennovated side compared to other hotels in the area. The bed was comfortable but could have used more pillows. The pillows are small and not of the best quality. When I requested additional pillows in the evening, the young lady checked for me, but said they had ran out. She was very polite and helpful. The room could have used more attention to detail when cleaning. The bathroom appeared clean, but when my husband took a closer look, he saw there was blood on the rim of the toilet seat. Overall though, it was a good hotel and a very affordable price for my family while visiting the area for SeaWorld.

In a perfect part of town for me. Super close to food, gas and highways. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the rooms are updated and have a mini fridge with microwave.

I was put in a room overlooking the main highway. About 25’ from the room. I was up all night with the traffic noise.

The heater/AC made a very annoying sound that kept waking me up, had to turn it off but then the room got very cold.

Above par place. Nothing to write home about, however it’s a decent place, a bit pricey for the building type, but a place for a quick getaway to lay ur head. It was clean and no bible buds or rodents. Room are spacious tho.

Have stayed at Hotel Milagro twice. Rooms are adequate and some have cool accommodations like bigger flat screen TVs and nice recliners. Beds are a little squishy but overall comfortable. Tub/shower areas could be updated but work just fine. I like staying here because the staff are helpful and the price is under $100! 🤓

Room was comfortable enough but there were leftover crumbs on the floor when we arrived and the AC sounded like a prop plane taking off.

The rooms are very nice and have been redone. Unfortunately, however, I did not have a good experience because of management error. They gave another guest a key card for my room and he barged in in the middle of the night. As a solo female traveler I was unnerved to say the least. Unacceptable.

My review is based on my experience trying unsuccessfully to check in. My son and I arrived at 10:45 pm, and there was no one in the office to check in, no note explaining what to do, and no one answered the phone. Waited in the car for almost an hour, watching sketchy activity around hotel, then someone broke a lobby window to gain entry. Possibly the management, but I felt very unsafe and left to find other accommodations. Would never, ever stay there.

For me the check-in process the parking the room itself was amazing the night that I showed up the receptionist was awesome and very helpful it was a smooth check-in process I got some good sleep I got to do laundry. I'd like the evening so much that I wanted to add one more night and and they both demanded that I paid $240 for one more night. I recorded an interaction with one of the staff in the morning and with I guess either the manager or owner. The morning receptionist and the manager was rude and aggressive. I recorded the whole thing. After that experience I wanted a receipt for the fact that I was charged the deposit but the system for some reason voided it so either the reception is from that evening voided the deposit or something I don't know but they made it seem like it was my fault. And all I did was show my ID the same card that I paid with and let the lady at check in know that I also had a pet. I was debating on whether to do these reviews because I really honestly have nothing to say that's nice in regards to ever going back again I'll never go back to that hotel. I wanted a receipt for the decline of voided to transaction the manager was able to do that and I just wanted to leave. I never felt so disrespected and put down before. Even as I was leaving the hotel ladies were kind of like rushing me out and I ended up forgetting some things in my room. I'll never return to this property again I don't think anyone else should either.

Overall good hotel for the price. Clean rooms. Service available at all times.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet, hot shower, nice bathtub, my key always worked (sometimes I go to hotels and the key doesn't work--irritating), when I had difficulty getting out of a tight parking space on the property, the night manager helped me (at 4:30am!), which I really appreciated. Only problem--when I first got there to check-in, no check-in person was present, so me and some other guy had to wait 10 minutes, which was irritating. He and I both called the person twice asking for help and she finally came out and helped. That was the only drawback to the place. Well, and the parking can be problematic (the second night I got a spot where I couldn't be jammed in--where there was no possibility for anyone else's illegal parking to make it difficult for me to get my car out).

the front desk lady sucks

I didnt even get to stay. Im in the middle of trying to get a refund. Drove 2 hours from Moreno Valley to Chula Vista, and I even called in advance. When i arrived they turned me away saying they didnt have any rooms and my booking was a result of the recent data breach. Then they instructed me to call for a refund but they're ghosting me and the agent "Reggie B" literally minutes after they told me what to do.

Stay: 4.29.25 (two nights, king bed, 2nd floor) - Hotel Milagro (meaning 'miracle' in Spanish) was a pleasant stay. I enjoyed the spaciousness, the quiet facility and adherence to the noise policy by both staff and guests, and how easy it was to walk to dining/shopping options. The water pressure in the shower is very low, but it's low-flow on purpose due to water conservation (San Diego is in a desert, which everyone forgets), and the separated toilet/shower from the vanity is very helpful. The most significant 'issue' is the floor in the room. It was soiled to the touch and noticeably sticky in places. This was was brought to management's attention, and notations to HK Staff were made and changes were put into place with immediate effect. To that point, the Staff is by far the best part of the stay at The Milagro. I find Seraj very informative and honest, as were all the HK Staff I interacted when coming and going to the room. I asked for extra towels, no problem. I asked for a late check-out, and directions to the local market, no problem. I speak a little conversational Spanish, and I feel the staff appreciated the fact they could inform me of things in their native language. A smile and friendly greeting go a long way to make for an enjoyable stay. I travel and review a LOT of venues. The Hotel Milagro is not a palace, but it also doesn't claim to be; It also doesn't charge the rates as such, either. That's awesome and value worthy. 8.5/10 Recommend. Thank you!

Its was a great experience. Its convenient to be right in the middle of everything. Well worth it for the price and the location.

Plenty of stores and and places to eat. close to Drs. and Freeway

Plain and simple hotel. No frills, clean rooms, just what you need for work trips. Didnt soend time in the room aside from sleep so amenities mean nothing to me. Free parking. Close to downtown area. Lots of restaurant options nearby.

Not the best. Outside was terrible random men standing around parking lot. Men sitting in there cars watching people come and go. Just didn’t feel safe.

Average or below average hotel. Very loud AC unit and noisy area. Homeless are everywhere, no breakfast and dirty surrounding area. I would not stay here again.

I'm not sure why there were such positive reviews of this hotel. It is basic basic. 2 queen beds - 3 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth, no bath mat, no shampoo/conditioner; cheap bedding. Elevator was not working. Washer not working. No vending snacks. No amenities. Shower was terrible. The baseboards in the room were so gross! The bathroom door was dirty and broken. I would not recommend or stay at again.
