Comfortable hotel. Has a welcoming lobby with different places to sit/lounge. The bar is a nice addition. Complimentary coffee was nice in the mornings. The place was clean enough but if you looked deeper, some things could use a deep cleaning but not a deal breaker where it felt gross.

Negatives: Found hair in the towels. Asked for more towels no one came. Ton of bugs in pool. It is an indoor pool. Positive: There was an issue with ac and the guy came right up and helped. Overall will never stay again

Pool is out of service due to renovation. Didn’t k know this at booking. No complimentary breakfast. Hotel was nice. Will not book Hilton Frederick again. Other hotels close by that offers free breakfast

We were a group of 15 and we called ahead of time before booking to this hotel, we asked if the pool was open and they assured us it was. The only reason we booked with them was because of the pool since we had kids with us. Finding the surprise of the pool not being open once we got there. All the kids were ready to jump in the pool. It was truly disappointing. It was too late to book anywhere else since we had an event later that night.

Very nice reception, bar, lounge, and outside seating areas. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. The carpet was a bit dingy looking. The caulk around the tub was entirely black with mold. Overall, we would have had a perfectly nice stay, but the temperature regulation in the room was terrible. The thermostat was set at 69F when we arrived and cold air was blasting. We had to turn the heat on in June to make it comfortable. After that, every hour or so the A/C would turn back on at full fan. We’d have to get up and reset the thermostat. Eventually, we had a very nice serviceman come up, who reset the thermostat. He explained that it has a motion detector that resets the temp to 70 when you leave. When we were sleeping or watching TV the motion detector didn’t work, and we got blasted with cold air on and off all night. I slept with a hoody on. My wife got up several times to reset the thermostat. Not a great way to get a restful night sleep before driving all day.

I believe they are renovating but this is a very outdated Hilton Garden Inn. Our bathrooms were especially dirty, shower with stains.

It’s clear our room wasn’t cleaned properly. The linens may have been changed but I found pieces of dog food in the floor, and Tylenol pills on the bathroom floor that someone had pushed the trashcan in front of. They were clearly very booked but it’s too expensive for that nonsense.

I was in Room 519. The bathroom was dirty. The room was very dark. There was no floor lamp near the arm chair. Unbelievably bad. I want to compliment Tashia at the front Desk. She was always pleasant and quick. She’s an asset to your hotel.

Overall, our stay was good. The beds were too firm. My back was hurting when i woke up in the morning. They didn't vacuum the carpet and my allergies were acting up. I found particles on the carpet. The employees were very helpful and accommodating to us during our short stay.

Got in at 9:30 after 6 1/2 hour drive, nice clean room and very good service, but room was cold and phone did not work. On fifth floor all the way at end of corridor. Had to go back down to check in with bag but was told heat was motion activated! But you don't move when you are sleeping! New hotel but employees agreed heating system was a poorly designed system. The old fashioned thermostat better! Phone was replaced but still didn't work. Offered to change rooms but too tired! $145 for a tiring end to long day. But the staff was very nice and accommodating and room very clean and comfortable.

The bedding was odd - completely came off the bed and the pillows were awful. The shower was fine, but the water did not drain. Had a difficult time adjusting the heat to a comfortable temperature - either too hot of too cold. Just a tired old hotel.

The only reason why we said it was average was for a couple if things. There are no overhead lights in the main area of the room. At night it is super dark with 3 small task lights. Also our room shower faucet would not turn off all the way making the room humid. We also could not get the room temperature steady. It was either hot or cold no in between.

Place was clean and comfortable. How every check-in experience was not great. They gave keys to the room that somebody checked out and wasn’t cleaned. When I called reception, they asked me to go down and get keys to new room. No sincere apology given. If I was the manager here, I would have asked the staff to come up and give me keys to the new room with a sincere apology. That’s what I call customer service.

It was a last minute decision to stay in the Frederick area and we booked this hotel based on other reviews. Alyssa at the front desk is professional, helpful and friendly...she is a great representation of the hotel. Our room and the hotel lobby was clean, inviting and cozy. We also enjoyed a night cap at the bar and the bartender was friendly and professional. Quick but great stay. We'll be back!

The hotel is very clean, modern and up to date. However, the staff is very unfriendly and rude. There are so unaccommodating. I asked for my room to be cleaned and we came back to a dirty room once again. We had a three night stay and our room was not cleaned even once. It was disgusting and we were told that it will be done. Our AC as well was not working for two nights and were told to be patient and it will come on. Also...we kept getting locked out of our room and having to go downstairs to get another key. It was so inconvenient. The overall hotel and room is very nice but the staff is beyond rude which leaves a bad experience overall.. I am not sure if he is the owner but Anish greeted us with a terrible attitude overall and seemed he was like that to all the guests.

Front desk staff were great. Allowed me to checkout late. The server for their dinner service was a great guy. And the salmon I had to eat was delicious. Breakfast was terrible. And unfortunately my room had not been cleaned well. There were hairs in the bathroom and on surfaces of night stands. They don’t have a real restaurant. Part of the Lobby is a self service kind of area. More like a Hampton Inn but with a small bar.

Hotel was clean, free of smells, convenient and well-staffed. Everything worked and the staff was efficient and courteous. Because we reserved with Expedia, we had the option of buying breakfast for $5 for the two of us. When we got to the hotel, we found price of breakfast on the premises was $15 per person! Was a very good breakfast!

First morning we weren’t charged for breakfast. Then the following morning, we were charged over $60 for two adults and two kids and my son only had a cup of cereal. There also wasn’t any information in the room in regards to wifi, TV channels, amenities, hours, etc. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Nice hotel in great location and welcomed our pet. My only complaint would be the breakfast buffet was not free, as we thought it was, as there were no signs or anyone to let us know it was not included with the room, until we sat down with our food, then bammm.....a guy with the bill appeared. Oh well, live and learn. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.
