Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the fitness center was vlosed during our entire stay. Free breakfast was very good.

Had to have room card reprogrammed about every other day. Never saw parking lot lights one once very dark parking lot.

The elevator was not working and I had luggage to take upstairs. The front desk guy said it has been broken for a while. I was looking for a place to stay for a while but this wasn't going to work.

My room was located at the 3rd floor, the hallway was very hot, the AC was not working the enite time i was there, the ice machine on my floor was never turned on, and the elevator was uncomfortably uneazy it appeared to be over heating i know this because in the maintenance room the hotel had a large fan blowing at the electrical box and with the door wide open, needles to say i will not be staying at this location again

Do NOT stay here! Booked for four nights. When checking in, there was a laundry detergent spill, verbally verified by staff, at the front counter. It remained there until I did an early check out on the second day. This was dangerously unsafe. They did not bother to clean the counter and floor. Fitness equipment broken. Pool was unsafe with a broken piece of pipe that can cut people. Reason for early checkout: Found a large cockroach in the bath and was moved to a new room. Found a used condom rapper and a gummy near the bed in the new room and was moved to yet another room. The rooms were not cleaned properly. Was told that I would get a refund but it was a complete lie. They never answered my calls nor the calls from Expedia. Man said he would fire the maid and give me a refund but that was not true. Disappointment.

The elevator wasn’t working. And they gave me a room in the third floor. I have a baby. So imagine taking the stairs with the baby and my luggage. The hotel need to be remodeled it’s very old and dirty.

Let's start with what I liked, the staff were super nice, the location was ideal for my business trip, and the pool was nice. Lots of good late night food within walking distance. But not a whole lot more to do besides eating, and drinking. If you don't rent a car, it's not far from a lot of cool stuff if you get a lyft/uber. And the room was very affordable. Things I didn't like: the location is in a rather dangerous neighborhood, especially later at night. Lots of mysterious loud noises from the outside. The exercise center is not very functional, parts were missing on the machines, which was a bummer, hopefully that gets fixed soon. And the pillows are not regular sized. Overall I'd recommend this spot if you're on a budget, and don't mind being in the hood. The hotel itself is clean, soundproof rooms, and perfectly cold upon arrival.

The hotel rooms are clean. Areas like pool and gym are small but clean too. Breakfast so basic. Need to add some fruits ti the menu.

Large cockroaches in the bathroom for two nights (out of 3) and tiny bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Ac did not work in the building only in the rooms. Would not stay there again. Also side door was unlocked and i told the person working at the front desk

The pictures make this place look wayyy better than it is. Our room had stains and what looked like snot and blood on the walls by the beds. The smell made my children and husband all have an allergic reaction. And to top it off there way hair in the bath tub! I am in the process of trying to get a refund as we had to leave immediately . Oh and the door jamb has definitely been messed with for someone to try to break in. This place need an over haul. Or to reduce its prices to $50 per night. Makes me question the whole best western brand.

Room smelled muggy, had dirty rag in sink, carpet was not vacuumed, front desk staff seemed bothered checking me in and answering questions

When we first got to the room it wasn't very clean. It looked like they forgot to vacuum the floor the beds had hair all on them. Then the following day i asked them to clean the room again and change the sheets and asked for new towels the only thing they did was straighten the room,and give us more towels still didnt vacuum or give us new sheets.

My original room had pet feces under the desk.

hotel is located in a not so safe area. first night there was a huge roach chilling in the tub which gave me a heart attack when i was about to shower lol, room was okay just a bit dusty. staff at the front was the best part of the hotel ( the gentleman with dreads service was outstanding!) , breakfast was probably 4/10. it was a quiet for the most part too.

It was in a good location, right in middle of everything that i needed to eat and shop. The only thing that i hated was that i could only get (3) stations on my television

It is like they cut every pillow in half. Like pillow nuggets. King size bed with tiny little pillow cubes. And breakfast was pitiful

Stayed 2 nights. First night I realized the tv didn’t work but it was already late so I told staff it was ok that night. 2nd day finally got tv but it only would give me 1 Channel, I never told them about it because I was busy. Rooms clean and comfy just really dark. Location was perfect for getting something to eat. Overall I would give a 4 for the price.

Front desk was great. Room was ok… spacious but found crumbs on sofa bed.

I like the price and the distance from airport. Didnt like the fact that the bathroom lock/door knob had been disassembled and was hanging loose and i had reported it to front desk on Friday!! and was in the same condition when i checked out on Monday.. not to mention housekeeping had been in that bathroom everyday i stayed, so the Hotel knew about it and did nothing about it. The elevator sounds possessed.. Some people arent going to want to stay there becuase of that...it sounds broken.. Other then those two things its a really nice place. its old, but clean.

It’s a nice hotel for the price. I woke up with my back hurting every day so I wish the beds would be better. The rooms are roomy and everything worked great. They did however only come make our bed one time when we were there. We were there for three days.

We stayed dec 26 2024. Horrible property. There was no wifi. No ventilation in the bathroom. Stingy toilet. I will not stay ever again in this property.

Elevator does not work on the first floor, you have to take stairs to 2nd floor to use it for upper levels. No WiFi on the 4th floor, was informed that the router was going to be reset and it never worked for 5 days. Breakfast is old, coffee machine did not always work, same food daily that is reheated each morning. Horrible stay, horrible quality!

Air conditioner didn't work well until after midnight. Set at 68 and it was hot until way after midnight. Very noisy unit

My room was not cleaned properly. I was only given one towel and when I asked for more, he told me to look outside and see if I saw the cleaning lady so she could give me more towels. When i asked for complementary toothbrush and toothpaste, he told me there was no more that I could walk next-door and buy some. Horrible

The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Jamie helped enroll me in Best Western rewards for free to start earning points for reqards. Much appreciated!

We were there 2 hours ahead of check in time at 3 and they stated no clean rooms but if we paid an extra $30 they would check us in. We stated no. We sat for an hour, watched cleaning ladies leave and we asked again and they again stated no rooms clean and the extra $30. We stated no again. It is now 2:45. We asked again, still no rooms clean and $30. A few words were said like if we gave you $30 magically a room would be clean. No answer. We asked to talked to someone in charge. We talked to owner over the phone and again no rooms clean and $30. He wouldn’t even listen. At 2:50 still no room clean. We said we were going to leave a bad review and he asked us to leave. We absolutely did. The owner had his worker in tears. I very highly recommend you never stay here!!!! Besides the customer bathroom was very very filthy, and with no paper supplies.

We Booked 2 rooms for 5 nights , flight was delayed until the next day, so we were told we would get refund for the first night , we didn't. We found a big roach in the bathroom, we got moved to a different room where we found a dirty condom, moved us a 3rd tine it was mid night too tired to pack up and check out, but we did check out the morning (a night early) we were told again that we would get a refund for the night we didnt check in and for the night we found the roaches and for the early check out night! We got back home from our trip contacted expedia and they told us the manager at the hotel denied all of refunds and said that we stayed theyre all 5 nights! We just let it go, even thought we could confirm we werent even in texas the first night and the last night we stayed at a different hotel

The staff was very nice and the one I spoke to when I checked in was mindful to remind me about the deposit and how it would take a few business days to appear back in my account! She was super nice despite it being pretty late. Very quiet and cozy as well. The beds were a little rough and the pillows weren’t as soft, so my neck ached the next morning, but truthfully that could have just been me considering we went to a concert and I am still finishing recovery from a head/neck injury! Would stay again!

I mixed up the dates of when i was going to stay there. I reached out within 24hours to see if i can arrange the dates. They said no and kept my money anyways. What a horrible way to do business. People are human and mistakes can be made. Instead of being money hungry, how about you show some grace.

The hotel looked like a motel 6 for $112 a night! I’ve stayed at better Best Western’s, this was by far the worst I’ve stayed at. Bathroom door had no knob and wouldn’t close. Paint was coming off the walls, curtains were yellow, it was just plain out disgusting. One morning my parents and my siblings came to change clothes at my room as they been on the road all night. They couldn’t check in into their hotel until 4pm so I told them they could come change clothes in my room then we could all leave to do our activities. Come to find out that they charged me an extra $90 !! For my family coming into my room to change, they didn’t stay! Yes, they had their bags with them just to take out their clothes instead of trying to in the car. $90 is insane! All the kids were under 16 and one was 4 years old! They didn’t even make me aware of charging me an extra $90! They could have ask me and I would’ve explained. When I called the hotel about the charge the front desk person just said that there was a comment on my reservation that more people stayed, when they didn’t. He had an attitude and said “well you see people coming in with luggage and what do you assume!?!?” Yes, I understand but that wasn’t the case here, my family just came to change into new clothes !!! I asked to speak to the manager and he told me the manager would contact me. It’s been 3 days and I haven’t heard anything back!

Upon arrival 10/22/2024, the Hispanic guy in the front desk is very rude and terrible to deal. He act like a boss not a customer service. I been i a long flight and tired but when i ask him about early check in he wont allow me but i understand because of the time check in policy but i waited in the lobby until its already 2:00pm he is not allowing me to check in until the he left and the india guy help me to check in because theres available room.

The hotel is great for the price. The neighborhood at night is a bit sketchy but no issues. Everything about the room was good quality. Second time there and will be happy to stay there again.

Good location at an affordable price.

I wanted a hotel close to the Frost Bank Center because I was attending a concert. We stayed in a really big room- there were 5 in my group. The receptionist was very nice. The room was clean. Overall a good stay.

You could tell there was other hotels with bad activity going on right next-door. It was a good hotel good place really close to the base for me, but the area is going downhill.

Our reservation had been cancelled when we got there although it was a pay at the property reservation which had been made months in advance. The front desk was friendly and re-establish our reservation after getting the okay with the manager but then fridge in the room we were given was not working, they had no technician to fix it. We were moved to a room on the smoking floor, which smelled terrible! When we asked if we could be switched to our original room, we were told it been sold already so we had to settle for the smoking room. The furniture was covered in dust, so we had to go out and buy stuff to clean off the dust and a plug-in to help with the smell. The things available to eat for breakfast were cereal, apples, coffee/juice, egg with cheese filled patties?, sausage links and a waffle maker. Thank goodness for the waffle maker! One the second morning they added mini muffins and bread for toast. The area was not the best either, lots of homeless people hanging around. Out of all the many times we have visited San Antonio and had hotel stays, this was by far the worst experience. Unfortunately we will not be returning or recommending.

You had a lot of restaurants nearby.

Everything ok for Me near to freeway .

No frills, ok for what we needed. Clean, self-serve breakfast was adequate. It's more of an industrial area so not much choice for eating.

Breakfast was completely disgusting especially when I finally got the front desk to swap out the orange juice and when I got some black stuff with floating in my horseshoes from the machine. The eggs tasted stale which I thought was impossible. You didn't seem to care while he was swapping the orange juice out when I said the milk was empty so when he finished swapping yours juice he walked back to the desk I had to tell him again.
