SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Mountain View

The hotel is two story building and the front desk is available round the clock and helpful.

Room was clean and had all that was needed. I would say add body wash if possible. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was just ok, but we did go late, so that could be why. Good choices though. When we checked in the guy at the front desk said it was ok to use the pool late, but when the kids tried to, we were told no. Don’t promise something and then not deliver. I wasn’t overly impressed, but it was sufficient

Clean comfortable room. Easy check-in and check-out. Good parking. We did not feel safe, though. On two occasions (one at 2 PM and one at 9 PM) someone kept trying to insert a key into our door as if trying to get in. That was very unsettling. At about 11 PM there were loud banging noises either on the door of the room next to ours. We reported all of these incidents to the front desk but there is, obviously, little they can do about this given the 2-story, open walkway design of the hotel. A gated entry to the parking lot and entrance would be the only reasonable solution.

Pretty good option for a work related travel. Breakfast and gym were good. Parking was great. Room was ok. I would definitely stay there again.

Living approximately 45 miles from this property, my daughter and I made reservations for this two-night stay to ensure being on time for two successive days of early morning out-patient surgery appointments at a nearby medical facility. On check-in, desk staff said I would get no discount as a Best Western Rewards member since reservations were made through Hotels.com. The swimming pool was extremely cold. The Jacuzzi pool was empty and roped off with yellow tape (especially disappointing). We had to kill two spiders, one of which was hanging from the ceiling about four feet above my daughter's bed. Two bath towels were stained with wide black streaks and another had a large splotch of dried, cream-colored matter. The shower head was unreachable--so high above one's head it was difficult to get adequate coverage below the waist and the stream so strong it hurt top of the head.The TV had no screen guide nor name of program currently being viewed. There was no night light; had to use cell phone flashlight for night-time trip to bathroom. There was no printed literature on amenities--hours of operation for complimentary breakfast, for example. And the price paid through hotels.com was much higher than prices advertised on property’s web site. SureStay Plus in Mountain View, CA gets a D-minus from us.

I serves the purpose very well if you are travelling alone for work or just want a place to sleep. Parking, breakfast, gym room are very good. The room are clean and functional.

The not so good was the fact that we started out with not even a quarter roll of toilet paper and quickly ran out and waited hours for more to arrive. Finally I had to swipe some off a cleaning cart. They didn’t clean our room every other day as requested. The cleaning woman walked into our room while we were there, didn’t knock…good thing we were clothed. And the breakfast was rough. Dried out hot food and tasteless everything else. The parking at night is also a joke.

The power was out when I arrived and I was asked to sign a blank lodging agreement. I will seek other lodging options next time.

This hotel is a good location in Mountain View. A lot of shopping and eating options. Front lobby is nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Street noise was not great but other than than it is a nice place to stay

Has no elevators for wheel chair access

The bathroom was not clean, air conditioning too loud,

I did not like the mold in the shower tiles, on the bathroom floor, behind the faucet.

It wasn’t very clean, walking on the carpet my bare feet was dirty. Noise from air conditioning and fridge was loud. Could hear shower and toilet from above. Mega truck start the engine and rev at 6 am. Was scheduled to stay today but changed to Hampton Inn, much nicer and quiet. Take that dump off your listings!

The room was dirty, bathroom was covered in ants and the shower left puddles on the bathroom floor after I showered. By bed sheets had holes in it.

The stay was ok. Just a few things. Cobb webs near the window. Like it has not be cleaned in years. Shower curtain had mold, same as well, like it had not been changed in years. The lock for the door was broken.

This stay was no good. I stayed there twice last summer and liked it - budget friendly and clean. This year our first room had a red stain near the pillows on one bed and hair and lint under the sheets on the other. When we moved rooms the beds were clean enough, but the bathroom was grimy and thick layers of dust were everywhere. Plus both rooms has stained dirty carpet. When I spoke to management about my concerns the next morning, they stated that they were sorry and I could ask for the "manager's special" next time and get a discount. This did not leave me with any want to ever stay at this property again.

With it being cold/flu season and the threat of Covid still around you think the rooms would be cleaner but there was dead bugs in ice bucket, floor sticky/dirty, had not cleaned behind toilet in some time, tub did not drain, bathroom fan came on but did not work. There was no paper/pen or any information about the breakfast or surrounding area. Breakfast okay but no fruit.

Extreme chemical smell, mold around the tub, maybe mold, maybe blood on the walls. Worst BW I’ve ever stayed in. I want a refund.

We were welcomed with the big stains on the carpet. A dead bug smashed on the wall a big wad of goop by the door still determined to be what it is and just dirty would not stay there again would not recommend staff was nice, but that’s about it.

The tub in the bathroom was very dirty. The sides and non stick dots were very dirty.

The rooms were clean and spacious, although I had to place the microwave on the floor to be able to plug it in. This wouldn’t be accessible to someone who can’t lift, bend over, get back up, and so on. Same for the coffee machine, although I didn’t use that. I feel that this should have been communicated to some extent. My stay was otherwise very nice and I enjoyed the breakfast!

The location is great for public transit along the El Camino. The property itself needs updating, it’s quite shabby and there was mould around the bathtub. The breakfast is limited and the hot options are almost inedible. A good choice if you need to be close to this location (as we did) otherwise I’d avoid it.

Smooth check-in and check-out. Clean and secure room. Very helpful to have a fridge and a microwave in the room. Near a main road, but not loud at all.

The beds and pillows were super comfortable. I was not expecting that. Location is great and the rooms are set back from the street so it was very quiet. Breakfast buffet is included and adequate. Microwave and good size fridge that actually kept things cold and refroze my ice packs in the room.

Clean, good value, friendly staff

Great location. All the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was always good and the coffee was plentiful and delicious. The reason I gave 4 stars to some items: my room was clearly smoked in, so an ozone machine might help; also the carpet needs to be replaced and a few corners need a bit more attention. Overall, I had a very nice experience.

We were greeted by a guy named Jay. He was great. Very accommodating. Clean property. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed. I would definitely stay there again.

The building itself seems old but the overall condition was quite clean. Good restaurants were nearby.

We only stayed one night but it was good. Check in process was super quick and grounds were quiet during our stay. Location was good as well. Walmart and target were down the block in case you needed to get anything.

My only quibble is breakfast: Management needs to work on breakfast to create more options. It's also dry. And they need to add a waffle maker with real syrup. Now if you're reading this: Remember this is an old hotel in Mountain View that has been restored and updated. It's not the Mandarin in San Francisco with breathtaking views of the bay. I stayed 2 weeks for family business reasons, and I really appreciate the staff's friendliness and the cleanliness of the facility.
