Quality Inn & Suites Abingdon

Clean room. Parking accommodated our car trailer. Easy off the interstate for a quick overnight stay. Decent breakfast

Good parking and clean room

Room needs updating for sure - black, red - too dark.

Mind was a weeknight stay between cities for my trip and at that time this hotel felt more like a contractors crew housing with the work trucks in the small parking lot. The check in staff was friendly. I was immediately aware of the aging lobby area and hallways to the rooms. Room had all that you would need but felt old and worn. There was a small gap between window frame and wall that was open to outside air and traffic noise. Some mold on shower curtain. A good remodel would make a difference. Next time I’ll go a few more minutes to a newer Quality Inn in Bristol, VA.

Check in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was not good though. The carpet was not vacuumed. There were pieces and Doritos and pretzels all around the floor. The furniture was very worn and damaged. The comforters were stained. I would not even sleep under them. The breakfast Buffett was decent. Nice eating area. Based on the cleanliness of the room though, I would not stay there again or recommend it.
