The property was very nice. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. I liked the waffles and sausage. There were more choices. Juices too. Always fresh coffee in the lobby. Nice big seating area in the lobby with tv.Carts for getting your luggage to and from your room and car. Nice parking lot. I recommend this hotel and would stay again

Want to give a high recommendation to Lee at the check in desk. Super job Lee, friendly & professional. High five to the staff at the breakfast area, very clean & nice variety of food that did change daily. Easy parking also a plus.

Our room was clean. Bathroom needed some work as hotel appears older. But shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Nice dining area even had an on patio. For money I paid excellent bargain

Very good value for money. The Breakfast was a full on one not the continental one advertised.. The coffee available 24-7 in the lobby was noted and appreciated. Staff was most friendly.Best TV and programinng I have experienced in 25 years!

The front desk staff were fantastic. Love that it was pet friendly but the rooms didn’t smell like animals had been there. Breakfast was good. Good hotel for a short stay. I liked that they had popcorn in the lobby. That was a fun touch.

A very decent place to stay for a couple nights. Building and facilities are aging, but kept in good shape. Rooms and public spaces appeared clean. Several small but annoying issues with the room such as leaking toilet, tub stopper was missing, several lights that didn't work. But on the whole it was an OK.

Went to turn down bed and found long black hair on sheets. Sheets were soiled and worn.sure they were not changed after last guest. Late at night arrival and tired from long drive. Did not point this out to my wife so we went to bed. Uncomfortable nights sleep.

The only thing I had an issue with is they are still operating under Covid standards which mainly meant no daily cleaning of rooms. Also, they really try to limit your towels as well.

Great value. Our suite was a good size, with a couch, and a sink area separate from the bathroom. They have updated electrical, so more than enough outlets for electronics. Furniture has not been modernized, but functional. Bed was comfortable. Good breakfast. Many restaurants walking distance (Perkins, Mexican, Red Lobster) and there is a Planet Fitness right behind the hotel. Grassy area out back for my dog.

It is hard to be disconnected when traveling from Canada with 2 small children. However, that was the case at The Quality Inn where the wifi was only available in the lobby and even there, had an extremely weak signal. No wifi was available in our room so we could not connect with our family at home, our family in town, or with work. We complained to the front desk and they said that “access points had not been setup yet”. It’s 2024. Get your network set up. Completely ridiculous. Would love some money back for the major inconvenience.

It was an average hotel room, cleanliness was okay. The AC wasn’t that strong so we got a little hot at times. It’s a little too outdated I think. The tv also wouldn’t work well. Remote barely worked and we couldn’t adjust the tv volume at all which was frustrating. But the customer service was great! The man at the front desk came up a few times trying to help us out and was very kind and understanding about everything. The breakfast was decent too. I’d return just for how friendly the environment was!

Room was great! Staff was great! It looks like its in the middle of a re-model. Room looked great, bathroom wasn't updated yet. (not a complaint, still very clean!) Only weird thing was, I stayed on the ground floor and there wasn't black out curtains. Only had the thinner see through white curtains. Which is ok since the back is just woods, but just a little creepy feel knowing someone can see in. But hotel, room, service, all great!

The room only had sheer drapes and allowed a lot of light into the room. There was a landline phone to call front desk with a question but phone was not working. Tv was not easy to operate and the satellite had to be reset twice which takes a while to reboot.

You can tell when employees genuinely care about their guests. All of the staff were very friendly and our needs were meet during our stay. Very grateful we were able to find this budget friendly inn and made some amazing memories with our children. On arrival, we had 1 issue arise and it was handled immediately with much care and attention. We would definitely come back!

I stayed in this hotel with my family on a road trip between Niagara Falls and Northern Virginia. The location was very convenient, next to a strip mall with lots of good restaurants and fast food. The room was clean, check-in was easy, breakfast was fine. Nothing was over the top, everything was just fine and that's exactly what we needed!

Room was fabulous. Large and great bed! We had our dog and rates were great for pet. Staff friendly and efficient. We walked out for dinner at a Mexican place across the parking lot after full day of travel. Would definitely stay again!!

Great property and great value. Stay here with my husband and my dog. It was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Good breakfast from 6 to 930. Furniture was a little rundown, but that just doesn’t really matter to me. And there was a Planet Fitness right behind the building and a Perkins in front, along with many other shopping options

About what’s expected for a 3 star place. Expensive but that happens on a college move in weekend. Bed is comfortable and show has great pressure. Negatives are that the room smelled like smoke although it was supposed to be a smoke free room. Water marks indicating no wipe down of the furniture; cracks in shower, coffee maker didn’t work, extra sheets and blankets for pull out sofa bed dirty or with stains; and breakfast was not good. Typical Choice hotel. Check-in guy was great and the free popcorn was pretty good. Nice location in the center of everything you would need.

Fresh eggs and sausage; waffle machines; cereal bar; yogurt; juice, hot coffee. Friendly staff working breakfast area. Clean room, friendly desk personnel who was very accommodating. Air unit for temp control in room. Some decor was outdated but very clean. Two small children and felt very safe and welcomed.

Traveling from the Harrisburg area. This hotel is right beside a Perkin’s Restaurant, which was why I choose it. There are malls close by but it is still reasonably priced, which is also why I chose it. Breakfast is included, but we originally were going to eat at Perkin’s, so this did not attract me. So glad we decided to eat breakfast at this hotel. It was awesome, including the coffee. There was a wide variety of foods and beverages and the area was nicely spaced out and clean. There was no waiting to get something because of it being crowded. I’ve been in lots of hotels where breakfast is included and I’ve been disappointed. I must say that this is the best. If breakfast is one of your priorities in picking a hotel, this hotel is a good choice. I want to recognize Brenda for the way she does a wonderful job in the kitchen and breakfast room, yet has time to interact with guests and make them feel special while they are visiting Altoona!!!!!! All the staff were very friendly, people oriented, and helpful. The only thing I found that is a negative to me is there is no mirror outside the bathroom area for someone to use for doing hair, makeup, dressing, etc. while someone else is showering, brushing teeth, etc. It would have been a time saver if there was. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows made it better. We visit Altoona several times a year and will definitely stay here again!!!!
