Nice hotel! Large room, clean bathroom, comfy bed, fridge, coffee maker, good breakfast, friendly staff, reasonably priced, close to Yavapai College Performing Center. (No elevator to 2nd floor rooms, so if you have knee or health issues climbing, ask for 1st floor room).

Everything was good except the pool and hot tub was closed. Liked the breakfast but would have been nice to have a choice of meat. No box of tissue in the bathroom. Receptionist was super nice & even called our room to ask it the room was good!

The pictures of this place are incredibly outdated. The hotel feels like an old rundown apartment complex. The "Continental breakfast" consisted of some bread items, coffee, and a yogurt machine, with a whole empty counter top for what I assume should've had food on it. Hot tub has been filled in and bricked up, the pool closes for winter season (which we were aware of). Seems like this place considers themselves to be higher up on the tier of hotels in the area, but it's subpar at best.

Pet friendly, there is a small dog park in the back. Close enough to walk to get coffee at Scooters! Close to the court house and activities.

The breakfast was superior, many choices and eating area was large, no problem finding a table. Rooms are extra large, staff were all friendly. On property Mexican restaurant was handy, prices reasonable and offered 10% discount for hotel guests.

This hotel was cheap and in a convenient location right off the main road into town. Other than that the first room we were given smelled so strong of smoke we asked to be moved. The office was very apologetic and kindly switched us. The second room was slightly better, still not great but we were tired. As far as sleeping went the mattress felt like a board with egg crate foam covering it, though that might have been more comfortable. Breakfast was a choice of cereal, soupy oatmeal or waiting in line for one of the two waffle makers by 8:30am though my son went down earlier in the morning and said the biscuits and gravy were great when they were there. If you’re looking for a cheap room to spend the night this will do it.

Ladies out front were awesome. Unfortunately, the room wasn't. There was ants all over. I mentioned at check out and they said manager would contact me. They never did.

The room smelled old. I bought Febreeze... the air conditioner was suuuuuper dusty... triggered my allergies so bad I had to rush to a doctor as soon as I checked out... the only breakfast out between 6-7 was cereal, toast and a yogurt machine. Room service did come...

Our 2nd stay. What happened? 10 days..we did get a fresh set of towels. House keeping came by once..emptied the trash..made ONE of the 2 beds..with the same sheets and blankets and ..dirt. Bathroom not touched. No vacuum..basic? Our last stay..a month ago maybe? Not so bad. You get what you pay for..oh..BEDBUGS..pics included. Whoever that lady at the front desk was? She knows..we've talked. I couldnt get a 2nd roll of toilet paper from her..i just want to leave..unclean..unsanitary..depending whos at the desk..unfriendly..would you stay here again?

Our AC unit in our room was originally set at 76 when we got there. We reset the AC at 64 and 10 hours later the room finally cooled down. It made for an uncomfortable night of sleeping. There is no air movement in the entire room because the AC unit is in the bathroom area.

Great location. Spacious rooms and very good free breakfast bar with waffles and scrambled eggs, as well as cereals, fruit, etc. Plenty of seating in the breakfast bar area. Rooms are clean and staff are very friwndly and helpful.

The worst most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my entire life. I lined up the pillows and slept on the pillows or slept in the chair. I could not get a bottom level floor and I had to park too far away. I have stayed at this hotel the last 10 February but I won’t be coming back again

The man at the check-in desk was kind and helpful. The rooms have been updated recently. But this is definitely a motel. I'm glad I brought my silicon ear plugs as you could hear traffic on the street as well as footsteps in the rooms above. The free breakfast was super average although the woman helping in the breakfast area was polite and nice. If I'd paid like $150/night and realized I was getting a motel, I'd be totally fine with it. (Instead I paid more and i guess I didn't look at photos of the outside of the property well enough before booking.)

Very friendly and helpful staff. AWESOME included breakfast. Nice mountain views. Felt very safe and was super quiet, despite being a motel-style layout. The rooms are basic and fine. Some furniture surfaces were not dusted - perhaps over quite some time. What pictures don't show is that it sits right on a fast, busy road, right near the offramp out of town. So often what you have to do to go anywhere IN town is take the offramp as if you were leaving and make a u-turn at a traffic light and gas station. The gas station comes up soon, so it is easy once you learn it and only take 3 minutes... just mildly annoying. I left the hotel lot once at 6:30 on Saturday morning and WAS able to turn left right into town. But at most other times it became clear that wasn't happening, with the 5 lanes of constant, fast traffic entering and leaving town.

Very friendly staff at the front desk. Room was spacious. Bed mattress was hard. AC was ineffective since all the air gets trapped under the long curtain, so we had to open the curtain and then were blinded by the sun in the morning. Water pressure in shower was sad. Breakfast was OK and I really appreciated the protein and the sugarless oatmeal options. A lower fat milk would be nice instead of just whole.

We were charged $250 for smoking in the room. WE DO NOT SMOKE OR VAPE. Staff was very rude in trying to resolve this. We checked out two days early because we were not going to be called liars - - and there was no guarantee that the false-positive smoke alarm & subsequent charge would not continue

Front desk staff was the least welcoming I’ve ever dealt with in the hospitality industry. Was annoyed I was there 5 minutes before check in at 3 and told me twice I was early and it would be a little they didn’t know if housekeeping had the room cleaned and that there is a restaurant on property if I would like to go there first. I kindly declined and said I would wait. They can do way better!

I will never stay at a Best Western ever again and I hope you don’t either. The service is outrageously bad, especially at the Prescatonian. If you try to tell the manager, they will kick you out of the hotel. If you call customer service national they will do nothing to support you. The Prescatonian charged me for a night that I didn’t stay after they kicked me out and they are still holding my belongings including my work computer. I came to AZ to visit my sick Grandmother. I am only here for 48 hours. They wasted 6 hours of my day and are still charging me even though this all happened at 12:30PM, barely past late check out. Please boycott this business. I am a tax paying, hard working citizen who has no criminal record whatsoever.

One-night stay for a civic event. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and proximately located to the downtown area; however, it was antiquated in condition and curb appeal. Nevertheless, the front-desk staff person was great.

Beds were comfortable and furnishings were updated and clean, but the motel itself felt dated. The front desk staff was especially helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection was very good, though on our last day, several of the choices were empty and hadn't been restocked. There's not much shopping/dining within easy walking distance, so it's helpful to have a car. All around, it was good and suited our travel needs.

Nice retro hotel with unique rooms. Parking in the street is limited and there is a park with lots of homeless but no issues. The street can be loud at night. Overall good experience.

Our stay was fine, nothing outstanding. The room was large, clean, and convenient to a wedding we were going to. Was very disappointed the pool had not opened yet, as was planning on using it in the afternoon after some sightseeing.So ask before you plan on booking a room. Towels could use an upgrade, clean but thin and scratchy. Disappointed also with breakfast selections. Didn’t realize I had to ask for eggs till I saw someone do it, and they didn’t taste like fresh eggs. On the plus side there was a nice attendant to help at the breakfast room.

The free breakfast was not good at all, extremely limited to a few bad choices. A scrambled egg thing folded in half is not an omelet. The people weew all very nice. Location was good for our trip. The room smelled bad-ish. Wish i had brought a candle. All in all, the hotel served its purpose.
