This is our favorite place to stay when we come to Prescott. It has a nice pool, friendly staff, late night drink options if wanted, and a great breakfast. Cozy spot for a getaway weekend.

I loved the fact that the villas seem perfect for older folks like me. Also the under ground parking was great to keep that Arizona sun off my car. The pool was my favorite thing.

There was a cockroach in our room. We asked for the room to get cleaned and apparently that day a few of the housekeeping quit, which is understandable. But not really. they should have paid the existing housekeeping staff overtime to satisfy the customers.

The property was nice, albeit a little tired/shabby. The staff were great! There were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom: the shower curtain was soiled and had pink mold at the bottom; there was visible black dirt/mold under the toilet rim. There was a noticeable odor on one of the bed pillows as well. Cleanliness is the most important factor to me so I notice these things.

The lobby and property are beautiful and a nice breakfast is provided; but this hotel fell short on room cleanliness. The room I had seems to be “spot” cleaned, and I’m pretty sure my sheets were not fresh. There was a newer blood stain on it when I pulled the blankets down; had it not been midnight when I returned to my room I would’ve notified the front desk and requested all new linens. Thankfully I happened to have a blanket with me, so I pulled them back up and slept in my own blanket rolled up. The bathroom could use a good cleaning in all the corners as well, not just the major surfaces in front of you.

Room was dirty, there was literal blood on our toilet. The shower was tiny, the phone was dirty and from the 70s, the walls are very thin and they don't clean their sheets between guests...which is super gross. Will not be staying again. The only positive was it is cute decor on the exterior and in the halls...and the breakfast smelled delicious, but I was in a hurry to leave so couldn't partake in it.

Quaint. Non-cookie cutter property. Even though we had an upgraded room, the room was small. Nice walk-in shower. They should take the jetted tub out of the room and make that area a sitting area. Included breakfast was so-so.

The staff was friendly and responsive. The shower was newly remodeled and really nice! I was surprised there was no hairdryer in the room but they brought me one when I asked. I was also surprised that there was no microwave in my room; I guess I didn't read up on the list of amenities.

4 of us shared a room at the hotel. We were all blown away with the property and the room. There was a mix-up so we were upgraded to the nicest king suite. The place is huge, the size of an apartment! it also has a jacuzzi tub in the living room. and a HUGE bathroom. tons of space and a full kitchen. Everything was absolutely amazing. The only thing I would change was the bed. two of us slept on the couch bed and it was extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the bar through the mattress so it was very uncomfortable. in hindsight would have been more comfortable to put the mattress on the floor and sleep on the floor. Or bring a mattress topper if possible. The staff was beyond amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and always went out of their way for us. The breakfast was also very good! The whole property is gorgeous.

The rooms are outdated and not even close to the price we paid. The walls are very thin and we heard our neighbors coughing the whole night. On the other side of us, we could hear our neighbors doing their business in the restroom! The pipes crack and creak every time someone flushes the toilet or takes a shower. There were people above us with children who kept running around. Oh and the beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. Pretty much a terrible experience! Definitely feel like we got ripped off.

We had a very nice stay at Forest Villas. The property is wonderful. Plenty of outdoor seating plus a pool and spa. The lobby is spacious and inviting. Our king room wasn’t overly large but there was plenty of space for the two of us. The balcony is a nice bonus. The only change we’d make for our next visit is to request a room on the west side. The road noise on the south and east is a bit loud when you’re enjoying the balcony. We’ll be back!

Now, granted, we were staying in one of the nicest rooms in the place, with a jetted tub and gas fireplace, on a very uncrowded time of day where it felt like we had the place to ourselves. And, granted, it was one of the only times where we've had the entire length of our stay to enjoy things rather than coming in late and having to leave early. But aside from the practical matter of not having a pool or outdoor hot tub because of the cold weather, I probably could not have asked for a nicer stay in a hotel. Staff was friendly and gracious, the fireplace and foyer were nice for relaxing and enjoying a full hot breakfast or tea/coffee, and the bed as comfortable as can be. It was to my surprise that I was informed a full rehab to improve the place would be underway in another month or so--it surely didn't seem to need one!

The main reason we love this hotel is because I could breathe. I am sensitive to many cleaning chemicals and never have an issue. The hotel is clean, but no chemical smell. Even the bedsheets don't give me issues. There was an issue at check in for everyone, the rooms weren't ready because of a weird situation the night before, but the staff was friendly and offered compensation. The lobby was nice to hang out in when we had to wait.

I arrived a few hours early and had driven from Los Angeles, so I was exhausted. Bob at the front desk suggested we go to a nearby park to wait for our room to be ready. Paula, the manager wouldn’t hear of it. She insisted my two sons and I rest in the reception area in front of the cozy fireplace and even offered us food and drink. She was so charming and welcoming. Chatted with us a bit and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Beds are very comfortable. We stayed at three different hotels twice, once on the way to Austin for a concert and once on the way back. I slept the best at this hotel.

Sue at the front desk delivered exemplary service at check-in, removing an extra pet charge that wasn’t made clear in the hotel policies at booking. She also arranged for us to check in early - more than 3 hours before normal check-in time! - to accommodate our needs. And she was very personable and fun to interact with…great customer service!

Stay here for my wedding night. The room was amazing and clean. Fluffy pillows and the most comfortable bed ever after a long day of dancing. A private balcony that we were able to see so many stars at night. The complementary breakfast very delicious and provided plenty of options. The atmosphere of the place was quiet and peaceful which made the night and morning wonderful. Check in and out was a breeze and Amy working the front desk was the cherry on top with the whole stay. Super nice when I called about late check in. She was very warm and friendly every time we talked to her. I am going to recommend everyone to stay here when looking for a hotel.

This place was amazing! From the initial walk in, the staff was absolutely the best! And what a beautiful entrance into the lobby with a grand staircase and the smell of freshly made cookies! The rooms were clean and had fantastic views of the pine hilltops and mountains. The areas outside to relax either by the pool, the water feature or outdoor eating area just added to the inviting nature of this place. The breakfast was great with lots of options. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Check-in was efficient. The GM made a point of telling me to come back soon for fresh cookies, and warned me that I’d notice a wonderful baking smell soon. Her words. The guidebook in my room also promoted cookies after 3 pm. Lots of hype for cookies! However, in four separate trips through the lobby between 3 and 7 pm, there were never any cookies available. No wonderful smell. Once, the desk girl said come back in 20 minutes. Another time she said 10 minutes, and “I can call you!” I think it’s odd that they make such a big deal of promoting fresh cookies, like it’s a signature perk, but I couldn’t get a single cookie in four trips through the lobby. Hotel is on par w/ Days Inn or similar, but with nicer lobby seating for the basic free breakfast. Lynx Lake is very close.

The guidebook in my room also promoted cookies after 3 pm. Lots of hype for cookies! However, in four separate trips through the lobby between 3 and 7 pm, there were never any cookies available. No wonderful smell. Once, the desk girl said come back in 20 minutes. Another time she said 10 minutes, and “I can call you!” I think it’s odd that they make such a big deal of promoting fresh cookies, like it’s a signature perk, but I couldn’t get a single cookie in four trips through the lobby. Breakfast was solid - good eggs and protein, make your own waffles, delicious coffee, plus all the extras. Room was nice, comfy and clean. But what really made the experience was the wonderful staff at the front desk. Malia went above and beyond to help us with recommendations, make bedtime cookies, and was overall a joy to talk to.

Check in was delayed over an hour because rooms were not ready. Waited in the lobby for over an hour with 2 little children after Check in time for a room that was over $250 per night. Check in staff was not only very rude to me, but also many other guests waiting to check in as well as guest coming down from there rooms, who had already checked in. Room was not worth the $250 per night for sure. Would look at other options if you are staying in the Prescott area.

This hotel is about 30 years old and while clean, it probably has not had a major refresh. Friendly staff, cookies being baked all afternoon, great breakfast included and very good coffee. My only issue would be is road noise in the rooms that face the main road into Prescott. I wear earplugs when on the road, so I wasn’t bothered. I like supporting the non-chain hotels when possible which ultimately was how I made my choice. We also learned the correct way to pronounce Prescott….

We've stayed in many hotels and a few VRBO's over almost four decades, mostly near walking distance or in downtown to ditch the car and not worrying about driving after libations. While Forest Villas is not near downtown and was not on our radar previously, it is now. What it is near, it is a block west of Walker Rd that takes you to Lynx Lake and the Highlands Center for Natural History Center well worth visiting and strolling the forested paved trails. Located on a hilltop you'd never relaize while there that you are across the highway from a Costco and Trader Joe's plaza with other shopping. The way the property is wonderfully landscaped with mature shrubs, trees and plantings it is like a green flowered sanctuary with little indication of the surrounding hotels, apartments and edifices when in the room, lobby or beautify maintained pool and hot tub area. They call it Mediterranean charm and I agree. From booking and pre arrival communication to check-in and overall hospitality they seem to wear their independent ownership with friendliness and pride. That includes that the very good breakfast that is better than most, even the pricier commercial chains. Thank you. We shall return to stay another day!

We had a very nice stay at Forest Villas. The property is wonderful. Plenty of outdoor seating plus a pool and spa. The lobby is spacious and inviting. Our king room wasn’t overly large but there was plenty of space for the two of us. The balcony is a nice bonus. The only change we’d make for our next visit is to request a room on the west side. The road noise on the south and east is a bit loud when you’re enjoying the balcony. We’ll be back!

We've stayed at this hotel many times and have never had a bad experience. The Lobby and public spaces were beautifully decorated for the holidays. Room was spotless, easy parking, close to restaurants and shopping. Great location between Prescott and Prescott Valley.

Clean, competent staff, breakfast, pet friendly. We were there for an annual reunion of Vietnam veterans, ages 65+. This facility was in a very nice quiet area of Prescott, and was also convenient to nice restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our 5 night stay and would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you

Overall, was not satisfied with the property. The only thing we liked was the communal area, which was very beautiful and well kept and the person that helped us check-in was very pleasant. The pool area was rundown, and there was broken tile in the hot tub. Even though it says no smoking the whole hotel smelled like smoke and we even walked by anEven though it says no smoking the whole hotel really smell like smoke, and we even walked by a Cleaning lady who had a half smoked cigarette in her mouth. Our room was dated and had marks on the wall that were trying to be hidden by a vase. The breakfast was bland, no taste. The only good thing about this place is that it is in a good spot for nearby shopping.

I read other reviews, so I knew it wasn’t the trendiest hotel in town. It is quite dated, bathroom was really small. But we weren’t going to spend much time in the room. Eggs at breakfast were powdered and luke warm. Blech. They did have a decent selection of other offerings. Front desk people were nice.

I highly recommend staying here! It is a beautiful building with a lot of historic character! They are in the middle of remodeling. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The free breakfast was a plesant surprise with a cook cooking breakfast with a large variety of items. It was like having a full, sit down breakfast at a restaurant.

The hotel itself was not bad. The check in process was super easy. Now the cleaning staff on the other hand could use some training. The coffee maker still had an old filter inside if it. The coffee pot was dirty. The carpets were filthy, they should just be replaced with flooring. The free breakfast was pretty good. The waffles and potatoes were my favorite. Im pretty sure the eggs are powdered so thats a no for me. But there were muffins, juice, bagels,sausage and bacon so there's plenty to choose from and its free. Just don't ask the lady there for plates or you'll be greeted with an attitude. Maybe she was having a bad morning, I don't know but it wasn't needed. As far as the room, my bed was comfortable, the shower was great and I loved the balcony. All in all I had a great stay and would definitely come back. The Tesla charging was also a huge ➕️

The lobby was a delight! Whether you want to listen to or play the piano, play one of their many board games, snack on a fresh baked cookie, or lounge outside by the pool or fire pit, there is pretty much a space for everyone! Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Staff recommended a wonderful place for dinner. Highly recommend!
