No instructions for ac or heating unit. Newly renovated room was weird. Floors were slanted, Chairs rolled by themselves and drawers would roll open. Not enough plugs for electronics. Wish they complimented or included an extension strip. Appreciate the breakfast. Location was helpful.

Normally, I would make a TikTok video to expose this location to my HUGE Michigan audience online and I still may do it… I booked a room at this hotel for today. And when I arrived, I was horrified. The smell was so overpowering that my 10-year-old daughter immediately said she felt nauseous in the lobby. Not to mention, the pictures are highly inaccurate and do not reflect what the property actually looks like. The 3rd floor hallway smelled like smoke. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk took her sweet time assisting the guest ahead of me and never once acknowledged me before walking off with them. Let’s start there—the customer service was already unacceptable. I then took it upon myself to contact the third-party service, Hotels.com, to request a cancellation. They reached out to the hotel on my behalf, yet the girl at the front desk refused to cancel the reservation. I worked in hotels for 5 to 6 years, and never once did we refuse to refund a guest who arrived and still CHOSE not to stay. Not only did the front desk girl refuse to issue a refund, but her demeanor was overtly hostile. She went as far as accusing me of lying to Hotels.com. Anyone with even the most fundamental training in customer service understands that you do not escalate a situation by adding fuel to the fire. It was clear she lacked the ability to de-escalate appropriately and instead chose to provoke an argument. Please believe ALL of the negative reviews by so many unhappy guest below.

No juice, staff didn’t even bother refilling that. No hot water in room. They allocated another room after waiting for 6 hrs which was not even cleaned for several years, full of dust. Plugs didn’t work in that room at all. Very horrible place to stay

When I checked in I was told they were renovating and were fully booked. They never should have taken my reservation. I said I would go elsewhere, but they insisted they would give me a room. Only one lamp and the bathroom light worked. Light over the sink was not working. Microwave not plugged in and no outlet for it unless the fridge was unplugged. No hair dryer in room. Asked for one numerous times and was finally given one. If I had to hear they were renovating one more time I was going to scream. Due to a change in schedule I was going to add an additional night, but after waiting too long to do so, I went elsewhere.
