What a great experience! The entire team at The Mansion was courteous, helpful, professional, and kind. I've stayed in many hotels across North America and this unique and lovely property has become a new favourite. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and came with a personalized note and gift of sugar cookies upon arrival. We enjoyed spending time in the nicely appointed lounge over glasses of wine and appreciated the complimentary happy hour cocktail (what a nice touch). In the mornings, we loved the savoury or sweet breakfast options--really top notch, excellent in presentation and quality. Bonus: the location provides walkable access to the Allentown area which is vibrant and full of quality restaurants. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely attentive staff. We were provided with a complimentary drink when we arrived and the breakfast that was included was great. Parking was free across the road. The only things to consider are that there are a few stairs to enter the hotel and to access the third floor (the lift goes to all other floors so suggest requesting rooms there if you have accessibility needs, lots of luggage, or young kids). The multi shower in our room woild have been great when new but probably needed an upgrade - the only reason for not giving five stars on everything. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

The butlers are amazing. Area is nice. Water main broke when we were there. No water to hotel. No ability to shower or flush toilets. Very unsanitary. Day butlers we’re good about it. Night guy didn’t seem to care. Place started to stink like a septic tank. Would of been perfect except for smell. Curtain in room was broken also. So lack of privacy. Gym was hot - no circulating air.

I liked the location and the common areas in the hotel. The staff (there are no butlers despite their claims) were accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast offerings were tasty but very limited and small. Prices at the bar were rather high. The plumbing in our room didn’t function properly - hot water filled the toilet occasionally. Overall, I would stay there again if I came to Buffalo.

Beautiful from the outside, but badly in need of updates on the inside. Several marks on the wall, wallpaper peeling and carpet was stained. Gave the impression of not being very clean. That being said, the staff were wonderful and super helpful so made me feel at home.

We are local and spent the night for a stay-cation. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is fantastic. The breakfast offered was one of two lovely choices and both were delicious. We also were given a free drink at their small, in-house bar as part of package. Fresh cookies were also waiting for us in our room. Only complaint was the bathroom in our room. It was a jetted tub and there was visible dirt and mildew in the jets, as well as around the tub inside and outside the glass door. If we were planning to stay longer I would have asked to switch rooms because of it. I would not think it would sanitary to use the tub with or without the jets running because of that. Mansion is walking distance to Downtown Buffalo’s popular nightlife spots, as well as many great restaurants.

The staff and outside were absolutely great, but I simply cannot excuse how run down this place is. We were without hot water for almost an entire day. Walking from the parking lot to the hotel (which is just across the street) we ran into numerous homeless people, one who chased us while yelling at us. The room was really cute, but looks like it hasn't been maintained at all. The air vents were filled with dust and there was an unspeakable amount of mold grime on the tub, which to their credit they cleaned out the mold when brought to their attention. Like I'm all for a more worn room, but this was just gross. Also the thermostat was kinda just stuck through a hole in the wall and the utility panel in the bathroom wasn't secured properly. Also I really hope the mirror is just styled, but with the rest of the black mold I found I am not sure how much of it is just that. All of this probably stems from the fact that the fan in the bathroom does not work. Wouldn't recommend.

This is a beautiful well maintained property. The stayed in an updated Double room. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is spacious. There was a welcome letter with all the information you will need during your stay and delicious cookies! A comfortable robe and plush towels. All the staff was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was also delicious and the coffee 👍👍. 10/10 recommend. Don’t forget ur complimentary cocktail! Will definitely visit again in the future.

Was once an impressive mansion. Now needs extensive updating. Disappointed with our room. Bed was uncomfortable. It was sinking in the middle and you can feel the springs. The bathroom needs a complete do over. Jetted tub, but jets are brown inside. All the caulking around the tub looked dirty. Tile floor looks stained and dirty

First my room didn’t have internet so I had to move rooms. It was a tiny room but one of the ‘renovated’ ones. The second room was bigger but old and the shower was awful and made for someone handicap. Water pressure was bad and never got very hot. The heat didn’t go above 68 in the room and I was freezing. They only had two options for breakfast and no buffet which was what they used to have and it was very good. I won’t stay here again, I’ll stay at a newer modern hotel. Also, no valet. Had to park car in lot across the street.

Staff was great! Small touches like the complimentary evening drinks, robes and made to order breakfast were nice. However, the "supreme" room I paid for left me underwhelmed. No curtains, no artwork on the walls... Please note there is no mini fridge or microwave in rooms.

The room I was staying in had no fridge, so I couldn’t store anything cold, there was no hot water in the shower at all. and the breakfast was so tiny I would think paying $300 for a night it would be a some what bigger proportion meal, the parking was really confused in the directions it never said to park across the street.

The building is beautiful, location is good. For $150/night this is a decent hotel room. However, for $500/night guests expect decent water pressure-the shower is terrible, wallpaper peeling. I couldnt wash my hair because of the poor water pressure. Disappointing.

My husband and I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The location was beautiful, and the staff was wonderful. The only issue we had was at breakfast the last day, it took about an hour to get our food which we had a reservation for Niagara Falls so we had to leave as the breakfast was being delivered. When asking if we can just take it to go, she rolled her eyes and said no.

We had an incredible stay at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo, NY. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—truly some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced. We loved the ambiance of this hotel. Beautifully decorated, quiet and had a pretty garden outside. The breakfast options (sweet or savory) each morning were delicious. A complimentary drink each night was such an unexpected treat. The Griffin drink was delicious. The staff were outstanding. I wish I could remember everyone’s name but Lucas, Caden and Danny in particular were so friendly and knowledgeable about Buffalo and made great recommendations for our dinners and of course wings! The Mansion on Delaware excels at customer service. The butlers went out of their way to assist, even heating up our leftover food from the precious evening to have for lunch. The staff and outside were absolutely great, but I simply cannot excuse how run down this place is. We were without hot water for almost an entire day. Walking from the parking lot to the hotel (which is just across the street) we ran into numerous homeless people, one who chased us while yelling at us. The room was really cute, but looks like it hasn't been maintained at all. The air vents were filled with dust and there was an unspeakable amount of mold grime on the tub, which to their credit they cleaned out the mold when brought to their attention. Like I'm all for a more worn room, but this was just gross. Also the thermostat was kinda just stuck through a hole in the wall and the utility panel in the bathroom wasn't secured properly. Also I really hope the mirror is just styled, but with the rest of the black mold I found I am not sure how much of it is just that. All of this probably stems from the fact that the fan in the bathroom does not work. Wouldn't recommend.

The room I was staying in had no fridge, so I couldn’t store anything cold, there was no hot water in the shower at all. and the breakfast was so tiny I would think paying $300 for a night it would be a some what bigger proportion meal, the parking was really confused in the directions it never said to park across the street.

The experience in the hotel was phenomenal. The only fault was the breakfast. We had alerted them to a gluten allergy the night prior and when we went to get breakfast the staff was unaware of menu accommodations that we had already confirmed. The normal breakfast option also came out very cold and dry.

When booking my trip to Buffalo, I was not expecting this hotel to be one of the main attractions of the trip. This mansion is absolutely beautiful inside. So much character! The photos online do not do it justice. The staff treat you like royalty and are very welcoming. There are so many things included in the stay. The parking, first drink at the bar, and their delicious breakfast is all included. They even had two fresh baked cookies waiting for me in my room! The breakfast is not a typical continental breakfast like you would have at a traditional hotel. They have two upscale breakfast options to choose from and it was absolutely delicious. If I plan another trip to Buffalo, I would not stay anywhere else.
