Room, and entire hotel, was well kept and staff was friendly and helpful. You can pay to valet park or self park at city lot right across the street, that has a skywalk directly back i to the hotel. Complimentary drink ticket at checkin for happy hour, and made-to-order breakfast, not just buffett or cold cereal. Only complaint was A/C in room is either set to turn off when it thinks no one is in the room, or it wasn't keeping up. Room was 74° when we first came in, even though thermostat was set at 70°, and even after turning it down to 67° (what we set our home at to sleep), room was still only at 69° when we woke up in the morning. Was back at 74° in room after going out and back in the morning.

I would of gave this property a higher rating but due to the construction things were a little disarrayed. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were under construction and other areas .

Hotel under construction after 8am. Beds super comfy. Breakfast was good, omelettes made to order is a plus. I’m always surprised how small fitness rooms are even at large hotels (not just this one).

We were staying downtown. My search was for hotels downtown and the only limiting factor I selected was for a pool as I had indicated I was traveling with two children. I have stayed in Lincoln multiple times and even at this location. The price was almost double, which I accepted because it was state basketball. When we checked in, we were informed the pool is under renovation. No pool or hot tub, and the renovations had been going on for over a year. The solution was to walk two blocks, in a rain storm, and use a different pool at a different hotel, and that pool had a shallow end of over four feet - which is essentially useless for my youngest. I almost never complain or write reviews. Gouging the price and then not being honest about amenities is about the worst two things a travel site can do. Ridiculous

Definitely Husker friendly and always plenty of staff to help with drinks, food, cleaning, and all of your needs. The only shocker was $45/night for parking.

We had reservations for two rooms. The one room’s nightstand had trash in it when we checked in, and there what appeared to be dried blood on the bathroom counter. While dining off property we tired to call and have them clean those areas, but could not get through, finally reached a person and they transferred us to housekeeping and we got disconnected, when we called back again, they wanted to transfer us to housekeeping and we said no, and we accused of speaking to them inappropriately. We finally told the front desk in person the next morning

I have never left a review of a hotel before but feel compelled to write one! The front desk person was so rude when I didn't want to sign up for a rewards program and told me I would not get Internet in my room if I didn't. Weird?! I didn't and we still had Internet. It's also SO loud in the room. You can hear cars going by..on the 7th floor! You can also hear the floor above you walking/running around and water turning on/off. So surprising! There were crumbs all over the desk chair and couch, no washclothes in the bathroom, Kleenex box had one Kleenex floating on top of the box and then was empty. Next morning found out that there was no shampoo and conditioner in the provided bottles. I just thought for splurging for a "nice" hotel, $260/room, there wouldn't have been these issues.

The central atrium might look nice, but all the noise carries straight up. Luckily when the bedroom door is closed you can’t here the noise. The hotel is very outdated, but luckily will be getting a facelift next year. Location is very convenient to walk to Pinnacle Bank Arena and Memorial Stadium. Bed was comfortable.

We had 3 rooms for a family event over Memorial Day. The layout of the rooms is great for a longer stay. The separate bedroom and separate living room is perfect for bigger family events. The breakfast area is great for gathering with 3 different families staying there. We loved the cook to order breakfast that is back after the pandemic closure! Price point was low compared to other hotels with same star rating. Nice pool too

The shower experience was horrible. Water would go from freezing cold to way too hot to shower. It would change without adjustments. It was so bad it caused my son to fall. Needs to be addressed sooner than later. As an adult, it was either too hot or too cold to shower.

We were able to choose from 3 different floor choices at check in. I chose the highest floor as our son was with us. Unfortunately we were by the elevator and the noise level of other guests and the elevator operating was quite loud all night long. This will not deter us from staying again, we will just ask to not be by the elevators.

The unloading zone at check in was very hectic. But the place was very busy for the weekend. I slept in pull out couch that was terrible. Felt every spring and rod. Definitely could use and upgrade.

We really like the free drinks at happy hour and the amazing breakfast. The only negative was that our room was freezing. Didn’t matter what the thermostat said. The window was so drafty we were cold the whole time in the back room. The front room with the sofa was fine so it was definitely because of the window.

Embassy Suites in Lincoln has a great property. Very covenient and walking distance to University of Nebraska and Haymarket restaurants. If you dont want to pay for valet parking, staff is very honest about the less expensive 24 hr public parking across the street. Great rooms that allow families to stretch out into 2 rooms for more privacy. We loved the omlette/pancakes made to order, the atrium for visiting and enjoying complimentary breakfasts and happy hour snacks and drinks. The staff was very friendly, attentive and responded to texts immediately. The first night we were overwhelmed by children next door to us being loud, going in and out of their room, having fun, but it was after 11 pm. The staff made sure they quieted down immediately. We didnt realize it until the following night that 11pm is quiet hours for the entire area, including the atrium/gathering area.

The room was very nice. However, the person working the "front desk" (male) in Saturday was very rude when he saw me carrying pizza and I asked if we could eat it in the lobby. Then I asked him if he could let me back in the pool since I had left my key inside, he treated me very snarky and didn't believe I was a guest at the hotel. When we first went to the pool Saturday night, there were 30 plus people in there and EVERY adult had a beer can in hand and no one said anything to them about drinking in the pool area. It wasnt until after that crowd cleared out, that a security guard came in to tell us two, that there was no drinking in the pool. When we asked why the 30 people that were drinking in there 5 minutes before that werent told, we got a shoulder shrug. It was not a great service and staff experience. For the amount of renovation construction happening, there really shouldve been a discount on the.nightly rate. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had at a hotel.

We checked in and went to our room which was located jus above the bar (noisy). About an hour after we checked in I was in an unrelated zoom meeting, there was a knock at my door, IT OPENED, and it was another guest who had been checked into the same room. The guest was apologetic and left. The manager (who had just checked me in) then called to tell me that their records indicated that we had checked out and he asked why we were still at the property. I reminded him that He had checked us in just an hour earlier. He grumbled and then (the manager on duty at 4.00pm) hung up on me. Shortly after that I went to the front desk to inquire what happened and to express my concerns that he was giving strangers my family’s hotel key. His response was, “if you have lost trust in us then I suggest you leave.” Which we did. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Excellent hotel with a perfect location right between the University of Nebraska and the Haymarket District (excellent restaurants). Hotel has been recently remodeled and is now in great shape. Love the open atrium area in the center of the hotel with free drinks at happy hour and free breakfast in the morning. Parking is in the ramp across the street connected by a skyway…. just $13.50 per day.

The staff did not refill breakfast items in a timely manner. There were a lot of high school students staying at the hotel, which is fine, but the hotel staff should be able to provide enough food for all guests. So disappointed when I was stuck eating plain oatmeal.

I really liked the way the building was structured. It was a square and no matter which room you had, you had a visual of the lobby once you stepped out of your room. The unique part about this place is the way they served their breakfast! I mean wowi! They cooked your eggs the way YOU want them.

The only reason q why this property did not get 5 stars was because at check in I was charged on 2 different credit cards. It may have been a computer glitch as the guest services employee said there was something wrong with his computer. But we were left with $216 less in out account until the pens dropped off after our other travels that weekend. However, the niceness of the employee, the exceptional breakfast and the cleanliness of the room made up for it! We will stay again.

Great location and facilities. If you stay here on a home football weekend, expect to stand in breakfast buffet line for a very long time. Facility sells tickets to public for a pep rally and guests do not have priority. I stood in line for 40 minutes and moved 15 feet and never reached the buffet.
