This place was very nice but i didnt like that the elevators there was 2 that didnt work and they wasnt marked off on any floor they had a sign up in the lobby area but they must had took it down cause this morning around 9 am they was putting it back up and I think a lot of people was unhappy having to wait for 1 elevator to take them where ever they are going and never offered a discount on the rooms or some free dinner or anything for the troubles but it would have been very nice if they could have put up some caution tape or put some kind of barrier up on the elevators. They did ha deal. Over the panels where the buttons are at saying that the elevator was out of order or not working , but they should add something on the outside

Elevators were down all weekend, it made it very difficult to get my grandmother up and down and I had to take the stairs up and down 7 months pregnant just to make sure I was on time for events. There were also dead cockroaches on the stairs that I asked to be cleaned several times because of the heavy stair traffic that never got done. I would not overbook the hotel if having elevator issues.

Clean, friendly, great restaurant, attached parking garage which is free while staying there via an app they give you. Walkable to downtown restaurants, capital buding, UNL campus and Memorial stadium. And cheaper than Emb@ssy Suites!!

I love having Millertime pub and Starbucks on site. The parking garage was under construction but another garage was available and had a walkway connection. Very convenient to UNL campus without the noise of trains or Haymarket revelry.

Staff was great, all who we interacted with were helpful. Unfortunately there was elevator work ongoing while we were there. This limited the three elevators to what seemed to be one working lift. There was signage, and directions to stairwells to access floors. HVAC in the guest room did not work well, we had the thermostat set at 67 and the room was warm.

I travel a lot for work, and the staff is wonderful, but the rooms, amenities and everything PASSED the lobby are old and outdated. Rooms are subpar, bathrooms are REALLY dated with cheap quick fixes and it says it has a pool, but it is a cold war bomb shelter coverted into a pool. For the cost, you are much better off staying at one of the many other options in the area that are much closer to what you could consider the "heart of downtown Lincoln" in the Haymarket area.

When we first checked in and went to our room we discovered it hadn’t been cleaned. Towels on the bathroom floor and trash in the trashcan. Moved us to a clean room. Gave us a voucher for 1 entree in the restaurant. Staff were friendly. We used the shuttle a couple of times which was nice. Kyle and Anatolia helped making dinner reservations for us. If the first room would have been clean the experience would have been better. All in all it was a good stay and we would stay there again.

Construction going on the north and east sides of the hotel, but it’s doable. The parking garage scanner is ridiculous and takes forever. We had to wait a long time for elevators checking out, which hasn’t happened before. Might have just been a busy time. Otherwise it was a fine place to stay, and the Cornhusker is my favorite place to stay when I come to Lincoln.

Slightly disappointing for the price we paid. When entering the room, there was hair and urine on the toilet, the toilet paper holder was broken, our key cards stopped working two different times during our stay, the front desk called our room at 8 am and woke us up for something that could have waited, the bottled juice from the cafe was expired…. Not things you want to see when you book a nice hotel. But it had great food and drinks at the restaurant and there was tons to do around the area. Very clean and safe downtown.

Upon checking into the hotel, we noticed what seems to be dried sewage in the tub. When we called the front desk, they said it was an issue they were having with plumbing backing up. No solution offered other then cleaning the tub: which we still don’t feel good about using…

There was a dirty sock in our room from previous residents. The rooms were much smaller than the photos lead you to believe, especially for the price. The bathroom barely fits one person. When we adjusted the temperature from 78 to 60 degrees, the room seemed to just get hotter.

The overall general building was aesthetically pleasing, but the rooms themselves were very outdated and disappointing. The pictures online were different than the actual property. The bathroom sink water took forever to heat up

This hotel has seen better days. I travel to Lincoln frequently for work, and this is the 6th different hotel I’ve stayed in. From the tiny elevators (one of which stopped at every floor, going up and going down, to the tiny bathrooms (have to step in all the way beside the toilet to be able to close the door, to the lack of functioning air conditioning, it just felt worn out. Upon check in, my room was significantly hotter than the hallways, which is unusual. Thermostat, set to auto, read 78. That’s a little hot for comfort. Set it at 68, left the room and went to work and dinner. 6 hours later, when I got back, there was a trickle of cool air coming from the vent, but when I manipulated the thermostat, the room was still at 78. I put the A/C on at 60, and it ran the whole time. The room was never cooler than 78. Terrible. Told the nice young lady at the desk the first morning, but nothing was done about it. And, not to sound cheap, but this is the only one of the 6 hotels without complimentary breakfast. I chose this hotel because everything else was booked. Will definitely be the last choice of downtown hotels. Pretty miserable stay.

We booked this for our 30th anniversary. We booked a king room with a sofa sleeper. When we checked in the gentleman said they didn’t have any kings available. He said we needed to take a room with 2 double beds. One of the beds was terrible. We also asked for directions to the Hay Market and the same guy just pointed and said that way a few blocks. Very dismissive. Also I tired to message the hotel about feedback and didn’t get any communication.

This hotel is REALLY NICE and lived up to what I had heard about it growing up as the best hotel in Lincoln. The gentleman at the front desk, Michael, got us checked in quickly and efficiently even though our info hadn’t finished downloading to their computers quite yet. I had booked it 10 minutes before walking in on Hotels.com when I realized the rooms my father in law had booked us into turned out to be in a run down roach infested hovel of a hotel with broken windows in the worst part of town. My son and immediately Ubered out of there. So we had been on the road for 8 hours we were tired and hungry and I am sure looked a little worst for the wear by the time we reached the Cornhusker. But Michael heard our story and went above and beyond to get us settled in an ABSOLUTELY wonderful room. The room had down comforters, marble bathroom with full sized shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower which smelled like eucalyptus! Free Netflix and YouTube on the tv as well. It was warm and inviting. It is obvious that it has been renovated and Everything inside and out is clean and well kept. The hotel also has a wonderful bar/restaurant too with TONS of local brews on tap and in cans. And for $3 you can get a pint of “mystery beer”. And we said “yes!” To that. The bartender asked us what we liked and gave my son and I each wonderful local beers suited to our tastes. I would definitely stay here again and again. The staff and stay saved our vacation!

The staff are some of the nicest, most helpful people I've met anywhere. I'm wheelchair bound so i don't get out mych, but Graydon, Natalia and another Bethany were absolutely wonderful to me and bent over backwards to help me when I got stuck here for another 2 days waiting on my broken oxygen concentrator to be replaced! Also, Alex in the bar and the wonderful server who works the morning shifts, were also really patient, kind and helpful! There were several other's whose names i did not get that deserve to be complimented on their helpfulness and kindness. Overall, you have the best staff and they provided a great atmosphere! Thanks to all who helped this mobility challenged grandma from Portland Oregon

Check in was at 4pm and our rooms were not ready. We had plans and needing to check in on time, hotel did try to accommodate with upgrade but the upgrade concierge was not fully stocked and coffee machine not working so not really an upgraded. Maybe have coffee in lobby complimentary at least in morning.

Older hotel for sure but still very nice. 15 minute walk from pinnacle bank arena, a nice outdoor sitting area where we and some friends we made at the concert were able to sit outside and have a few beers. Highly recommended

Really nice hotel, but can tell it’s a little dated and one of the older ones in Lincoln. Still nice nonetheless. Husker home weekends - Husker Football stays in this hotel, so you may spot your favorite player or coach. Easy walk to campus and Haymarket from the hotel.

We stayed for a banquet that was going on at the hotel . Drink prices are kinda high I’d say , the Starbucks in side pretty much only has the Starbucks name but they can’t make most Starbucks drinks nor can you use your Starbucks app . The hotel its self was nice , the staff was friendly as well.

I drove over 2 hours to go to a concert in Lincoln, which Ilovetodo a few timesa year. I chose the Cornhusker because it was close to the venue, therefore, location was convenient. However, I was truly disappointed there wasn't a hot tub and the pool was very cold. The restaurant was nice, the bartender was great, but I wad served the most petrified/over-cooked wings I've ever had in my life! Then, getting woken up by construction and hammering before 9am, after a concert was definitely NOTthe way i wanted to be woken up. I have no ambitions to stay there again and I don't recommend this property when there's so many other properties in the area for the same rate. The homeless were pretty rough in this area too.
