This hotel is downtown and I didn’t realize that when I booked the room as it says Haymarket. So those of you who do not know Haymarket means downtown the parking was a nightmare and a very tight squeeze definitely not SUV friendly. We drove all day and once we arrived discovered that parking was impossible because there was something going on downtown that I didn’t know about. They have designated parking garage for the people at the graduate, but it’s also open to anybody else which makes the parking a nightmare. Dan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. and allowed me to park in the loading zone although I had to move my car before 7 AM so at 2:30 AM when I woke up and saw that there was space is available. I moved my car and unfortunately had to also wake up my granddaughter so she could go with me. This hotel would probably be great if you didn’t have a car and plan to only stay and visit places. The bed was comfy the bathroom and rumor clean and damn put us on the 16th floor, which is the very top and my granddaughter loved the view. Maybe if I fly in I will try this location again, but I will not try again if Idrive again. I didn’t have a chance to try the breakfast as we had to leave early to make it to the Omaha zoo on time which was also fantastic but exhausting. Make sure you have good walking shoes.

The parking garage elevator was terrible. It was 100° and the elevator was questionably operating. With the door barely opening. There was no fan or vent at all. It was very uncomfortable. And the price per vehicle for parking is ridiculous.

Very handy location for a show at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. Didn't care for the parking. The garage side of the property doesn't have key access for the entrance door off theparking garage. If you get there late at night, you have to walk around to the main entrance. The main entance automatic doors needed repair. The doors attached to the garage don't have a ramp inside the building only stairs. Definitely not the most accessible place I have stayed.

My stay at the Graduate Lincoln was a nightmare. My room was disgusting to the point of being a health concern. At first, everything looked great. Then I unmade the bed and everything started going downhill. The white comforter had blood and green mucus on it. The night stands and lamps were covered in dust. Then I walked to the bathroom to find a bunch of white hair on my socks (I don't have white hair). When I looked closely, the carpet had wine stains, coffee stains, more hair, and crumbs, which could have easily been vacuumed. The bathroom floor was gross, the surfaces had (wipeable) water stains, the mirror had fingerprints of all sizes on it, the shampoo bottles were covered in grime and hair, the shower had hairs all over, the outer fabric shower curtain had a large bright yellow stain, and the inner shower liner was full of grime and hair on the bottom. When I picked up the phone to call the front desk, even the phone was sticky. Employees at the front desk tried to help by switching me to two more rooms but every room was more disgusting than the last. One had a huge brown-yellow stain on the bed. After the first night, my room was "cleaned", but only the comforter was changed for another one with stains. Third night my room was "cleaned" again. I could not go to another hotel because my job booked it. Housekeeping management said they would help fix this but I have not heard back from them or general management. I tried to be patient, but this is unacceptable.

Front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel and restaurant were beautiful and the retro feel was fun and quirky like a step back in time. Beds were comfortable. Most hotels don’t meet my expectations cleanliness wise and this one was no exception, it wasn’t the worst but definitely could have been better. Hair in tub couple spots in shower walls light switches and mirrors smeared, layer of dust on upper fixtures like smoke detectors etc. maybe I’m just picky but definitely a three for room cleanliness other than that the hotel was great in every way.

This is the 5th time we have stayed at this Graduate! This was probably the worst room we have ever had! One of the two beds had no linens, there was no soap in the dispensers in the shower, there was only one towel, and the bathroom door didn’t close.

Super cute! Parking and check-in was a breeze and everything was within easy walking distance. Shower didn’t drain, so ended up showering ankle deep in dirty water each night. Check your comforter closely before crawling in - found a large stain that looked to be urine on the last day. Did let front desk know of concerns at check out and were offered an apology for our inconvenience. If shower drained and bedding was clean would def rate much more highly.

Our bedding was wet. They brought us dry linens at 11:00-11:30 pm.. dropped them off and we had to change the beds ourselves. By 4:30 am we woke up wet again. Something is wrong with the ac or their moisture control. Even our clothes were damp and i should have known by the warped wooden panels on the walls. We had no hot water the first night. A towel looked like someone had wiped with it. Tub wouldn’t drain well. The front staff was SUPER sweet and nice, I’d say that was the only upside to staying there.

The rooms are outdated and there was black mold on the ceiling. I brought it to their attention but they said said they couldn’t move me because they were full. So they did nothing about it. She said they have had issue with it. I have stage 4 cancer and I really didn’t want to stay in that room but had no choice.

I really wish there was an in-room coffee pot. There were instant coffee packets and an electric kettle, but it’s just not the same. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were SO soft that your head would just sink to the bed all night. We were so sore when we woke up! There was a painting of a woman on the wall that seemed to be staring down on the bed (that was super creepy) and corn cobs on the curtains and wallpaper for some added charm. We especially loved how close it was to the venue, how easy it was to get to and from, and how The Graduate was so centrally located that we could walk to and from the venues and other areas for food & shopping.

This section of Lincoln is EXTREMELY noisy with construction and emergency vehicles. The room decor was "fun" if you like th '50's. I enjoyed the bedside stand, a gutted console tv. But the HVAC appliance in the room sounded like a twin-prop plane revving; earplugs required! Also, by 8:30 a.m. there was no hot water in the room for showers. We're Hilton rewards members, but if you're not in the top 2 tiers, breakfast isn't included in your stay & choices were very limited and overpriced.

Was a beautiful place. We paid up for a suite and the blackout blinds were designed not to close all the way. If the rail they were attached to didn’t stop short 4’ from the middle they would have done the job.

We enjoy staying at The Graduate in Lincoln. The location is perfect for enjoying all the things in the downtown area. One area for concern was the humidity level in the room. The AC was turned down but the level of humidity stayed high.

Arrived to check in and they lost my full reservation. The young lady who checked us in was scrambling to change it and when she did I lost complimentary breakfast that paid for. The hotel only booked 1 room when I paid for two. Cracks in sheet rock. Our air conditioner made a loud scratching noise all night. Overall the hotel was decent but not worth the money. Staff I encountered was not up to standard and argumentative.

Showed up for my booking at 9pm. Hotel was busy, i was asked to wait as the front desk sent the shuttle driver up to check on rooms to see if they were clean. 15 mins later the shuttle driver came back and said one of the rooms was clean. When i walked into the room it smelling like a college house party. There where dirty cups and bittles on the table. There was a rough effort to make the beds however the pillows where placed all over the place in the rush to "clean" the room. Trash from the previous tennant was still in the trash cans. Visited the front desk to explain what was going on, they magically had "moved some things around" and had another room that was clean. Upon entering this room, it was clearly in better shape. Which made the previous room seem comical that it was even passed off as clean. However my wife pulled the comforters up and more of the same. We left the property without staying. Hospitality when letting the front desk know we would not be staying was less then cordial. Staff was less then helpful, the hotel was in rough shape and i need of repair several places. Electrical tape holding down the floor decals in 3 of the elevators, furniture in the lobby and rooms is worn and beyond apoint of the vintage theme of the hotel. Save yourself the time and bypass this hotel and staff.

I made a reservation for 3 rooms with Orbitz several months ago. Apparently the hotel canceled my reservation a month ago, I was never notified. Staff at front desk were rude. Called 2 days prior to verify rooms, got there and they didn’t have our rooms and then charged us $250 more then our reservation from hotels.com indicated. They gave 2 of our rooms breakfast comp cards, and not the other two. When we went and ask for ours they continued to be rude and the last day wouldn’t give them any. Same went for parking pass, one day they validated for free, next day wouldn’t give. Rudeness continued daily! Not impressed at all on how my family was treated. We stayed here on a husker game day. Tried to check-in around 4 and were told we wouldn't be able to check-in until after the game. To make matters worse we also weren't able to park in the garage and had to park 6 blocks away. So, after the game we had to haul our luggage 6 blocks back to the hotel at 11:00 PM and waited in line for over an hour to get checked in as everyone was checking in at the same time since no one could earlier. When I get the email receipt the next morning I saw we were overcharged by $163. The front desk staff said they weren't able to fix this but told me to email the GM.

They tried to tell us we only had two rooms booked (we had three). Then they had one of our rooms double booked and it took us two hours to finally get into a room. Then I was charged much more than I had been told I would and was also charged for parking even though we didn’t park at the hotel.

The Graduate has a prime location for people attending any downtown Lincoln event. We were able to walk to The Lied Center for a play quite easily. The Graduate’s decor is eccentric and fun to look at. We’d definitely stay there again.

Very easy walk to Memorial Stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena, Railyard, Haymarket, etc. Booked room on Husker game weekend so knew we were paying more but IMO room/hotel is worth the regular rate, but was not worth the $438.39/night, plus parking and breakfast expense in addition to that. Was lots of traffic noise from street (we were on the 12th floor), out of coffee in lobby both mornings we were there, key cards did not work 2 of the times we returned to our room and had to be replaced. Nice to have parking garage on-site, but tight for larger vehicles and even hotel guests had to pay to park there. Would have been nice to have free breakfast option, especially for cost of rental. Beds were comfy and rooms were decorated with some fun, if not slightly tacky, Nebraska related decor. Our kids, and my husband, enjoyed the arcade games in the lobby.

Loved the convenience of this property. The location was in the heart of the Haymarket making our event at the Pinnacle, restaurants and bars were all within walking distance. Also…. I cannot say enough good about the restaurant connected to this hotel - Singel Barrel. The food was amazing, the staff was attentive and the atmosphere was perfect for our party of 20.

The breakfast was cold and awful. There was a buffet, eggs were cold and they kept running out of everything. Only had one gal trying to bring dishes out, restock food and no cups for the water. No servers at all if you wanted Mimosas etc…. Heater in room fell off the wall and room was tidy but definitely not deeply cleaned.

The location of this hotel is great especially for game days, but it is an quirky older hotel. The parking garage was full and had a broken elevator. The breakfast (not included with room) wasn't impressive and most items of the buffet were not stocked well. The lobby coffee also was constantly gone. The room was cute, Nebraska decorated with minimal tolietries. Only negative with room was toilet paper. We had only a small half-gone roll, and we met a lady in the elevator who had the same issue.
