Well, I was attracted by the indoor hot tub and pool. But unfortunately; -there is poor ventilation and therefore it is like a sauna in there. You can’t crack a window or anything. So it made it hard to enjoy the area. It was hard to breathe. Gym unusable! -hot tub temperature was not regulated and burning hot. None of us could use it because it was just too hot. Multiple guests agreed it cause you to faint if you were to actually get in it. Yes, reported to front desk. -So it was feet only. But then you would need to go jump in the pool afterward because the combination of the sauna heat atmosphere and that boiling water was just unbearable.!! -Then they decided to clean the pool early Sunday morning. So we were not even able to try the pool in the early hours for remedy. -Not an enjoyable time because of the fact it was closed all the way until Check!!! So sheeesh that was a waste of amenities. -NO snacks for breakfast in lieu of no continental Brest. WOW! /great staff though! Clean place. Great views The TV remote did not work. So the TV was stuck on one Syfy channel the whole time.front desk came up with another remote and that didn’t work. said he’d be back and never returned. So then we got to watch the cooking channel only for the rest of stay. Also, poor ventilation and no air conditioning in rooms. They do provide a small box fan. You can use that to circulate the humid room. Or you can open a window or your door for fresh air. Cool RM set up tho!

I had a pleasant stay. My room had a kitchen, fireplace, and ocean view balcony. The staff were helpful, providing clean towels and toiletries daily and giving dining tips. The pool and hot tub were clean, and Mo’s Seafood Restaurant was conveniently on the first floor. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, great staff, and central location on Broadway. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

This hotel is in the middle of a remodel, which it needs. This was a spontaneous single night stay for us, and the price was very low as a result of the age and ongoing remodel. The staff were great. I'm sure when the remodel is done and the rooms are improved, the prices will go up but it will be a much nicer property. It certainly is perfectly situated in the heart of seaside on the prom. I also must remark as someone who travels a lot and always uses hotel pools, the pool at this hotel is immaculately clean. Strikingly clean. I have stayed at Hilton's with dirtier pools. Clearly the maintenance staff at this hotel care that the pool be clean, and I appreciate it!

I know the property is in renovation so noise was ok Pool and Hot tub could have been cleaner Lots of sand and grim on sides around water edge Temp of water in both pool and hot tub very good Even though its in renovation be sure all rooms being rented out and in great condition and not needing small repairs or maintenance ie faucets aerators on faucets drapes hanging doors sticking carpets very dirty. Even though we experienced some of these we will return Staff was very friendly and accomedating

Check in was slow. They charge you $35. To check in early. Even if it’s just 10 minutes early. Also me and my son were waiting in the lobby to check in for 40 minutes. They saw us there, but somehow they check in 5 people before us. Even though we were there way before then. Besides that, the whole place is under construction and the roof is leaking and the construction goes on until evening.

My heater didn’t work when I arrived. I called front desk and maintenance fixed it IMMEDIATELY. That was awesome. Beach and pool and location were awesome. My key card had to be rekeyed a number of times. I was locked out at 7 am and it took 30 minutes for someone to show up at front desk. There was no bell. No one answered if I called front desk or manager. That was not acceptable.

Was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room upon check in, the carpet was wet with animal urine by the bathroom and there was feces stains in the carpet. I had emailed the front desk manager but did not get a response back. Ended up checking out early because I was grossed out. Front desk associate was very kind and helpful, but I am disappointed with management.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. We had an ocean view room which was great, but the sliding door was nearly impossible to open. The closet door screeched when it was opened or closed. The exterior was being worked on so we had construction noise from 08:00 am till 5:30pm. The tub/shower had mildew all along the wall. The carpet was dirty and the beds were mediocre. No food available for breakfast and most of the nearby restaurants didn't open till noon. Not worth the nearly $300

My wife took my kid into pool bathroom and there was blood and fecal matter all over the floors and toilet. My wife didn’t feel safe staying here with kids so we checked out and left. Not a very good impression with cleanliness. Will never recommend this place.

Room very old and dirty. In bathroom on a floor was hair and in bath tub as well. Pool and hot tub dirty, the water is cloudy . Price for this hotel over priced. Waste $400. Not worth it. Not recommend.

The ovenview was Wonderful, the size if the room was nice,with a kichenett. BUT...the room was not as clean as it should of been ,it needed a Deep cleaning,exspecially the carpet,when I had my shoes and socks off the bottom of my feet got very dirty. The room and baloncy need updating and some T.L.C. Altho the bedding seemed clean, the bed was not comfortable at all,very hard!!!

This hotel is terrible. The door coming back from the beach is broken and apparently has been for a while. So we, and our 4 year old had to walk all the way around to get in. And no one cares. The pool water was so disgusting that if it wasn't for my wife, I would have called the health department. We had to go to three different floors to find an ice machine that works. Are you kidding me!? For the price you charge for this place is a disgrace. I have seen motel 6's that was nicer than this place. The only nice person here was the wonderful gentleman that was guarding the parking lot.

I have stayed at this place several times. I usually come here three or four times a year & stay a week. This definitely was the worst experience that I’ve ever had. I understand that they are under construction, and I also understand that the weather was pretty bad and out of their control. I think that they did the best if they could, and we were without Internet for over 24 hours, and without any kind of TV connection for about three days. We asked for any kind of accommodations, or some sort of free meal, and we were basically told no. The manager is extremely nice and friendly. Unfortunately, his young female staff that works the front desk, the blonde, is extremely rude and extremely unprofessional. She argued with me for about an hour that the Internet was working. Finally, I went down there, and she had someone go look at it and found In fact the Internet was not working. She proceeded to stand there and roll her eyes at me and acting like I was wasting her time. The worst experience that I’ve ever had there. The room itself was extremely dirty, I was walking on the carpet, and there was a wet sticky spot on the first day, so we just covered it and didn’t walk on it. The bathroom was a disaster, it was a rough stay. But I have to be completely honest, that the only terrible experience that will stay with me, was a disrespect that we got from the young blonde girl in the front desk. I would assume that the general manager expects better from his staff.

Main doors would stick and not open. Very run down property. Peeling wallpaper and paint in room. Broken tiles on bathroom floor cut my daughter’s toe. Could not use our balcony most of the time due to weed smoke coming in our room from other rooms,I have an 8 yr old and 2 month old! Pool is disgusting!!!!

The hotel is in a good spot right next to the beach and parking was good. They were remodeling or doing some updates to the hotel so every morning we got woken up by power tools or some other clanking. My patio didn’t have a lock on it at all. I went to front desk and they did end up giving me a piece of wood to keep it locked that way. Staff was nice but kinda overpriced for all the issues it had and the mattress was not good at all.

The bed was great. Very comfortable. We loved the loft arrangement! But we hated that none of the windows opened! At the beach we want fresh air and to hear the surf and sea gulls. Since the windows didn’t open it was quite stuffy.

I didn’t like that we paid for a full ocean view and the room 228. Was shorted that I guess because of that hideous infrastructure. It was nasty and blocked the view the main reason we stay here. I feel whatever guest stays here get shorted

2 out of 5 stay. The sliding glass door doesn't actually lock and there are no added locks or security on any of the MANY other doors into the room. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping there. It was hot and muggy and the only breeze we could get was with the sliding door open. The fan didn't work and the replacement fan was super noisy. The pool area was muggy and hot so the hot tub was not enjoyable. The elevators are sketchy and the hallway actually scares me with how slanted it is. Construction on the building should have been noted when I made the reservation. 2 out of 5 stay. The sliding glass door doesn't actually lock and there are no added locks or security on any of the MANY other doors into the room. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping there. It was hot and muggy and the only breeze we could get was with the sliding door open. The fan didn't work and the replacement fan was super noisy. The pool area was muggy and hot so the hot tub was not enjoyable. The elevators are sketchy and the hallway actually scares me with how slanted it is. Construction on the building should have been noted when I made the reservation. Especially since it forces you to come to the parking lot along an incredibly tiny street on the other side of the hotel.

Finding it and parking was super easy. Check in was great staff was excellent. Room was very large and clean although very outdated with older carpet and furniture. Was a slight smell of old room. Room listing did not mention ocean view but the loft I stayed in had a nice loft with a view of the roof and a partial ocean view. Bed was pretty comfortable. Old but good shower temp and pressure. I think it was a great deal for what I paid and would stay here again.

The property is quite noisy — conversations from nearby rooms are clearly audible, and every time someone closes their door, the vibrations make everything in the room rattle. Staff was super friendly and our stay was amazing considering the construction going on. Didn’t affect us one bit. The room was very clean, housekeeping was very courteous and helpful. The gentleman that checked us in was so professional and his customer service was spot on. He even gave my son a prize for winning at connect 4 in the lobby. Side note, I lived off of the coffee in that lobby lol super tasty!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool, the wife and I loved how close to the beach and all the shops the hotel was. But the best thing of all was Paul! He helped so much and was above and beyond helpful! He had great places for us to try for dinner. Was great with the kids and just so helpful with all of our questions. We’ll come back for Paul alone!

Check in was slow. They charge you $35. To check in early. Even if it’s just 10 minutes early. Also me and my son were waiting in the lobby to check in for 40 minutes. They saw us there, but somehow they check in 5 people before us. Even though we were there way before then. Besides that, the whole place is under construction and the roof is leaking and the construction goes on until evening.

I’ve been staying here once a month since 2019 and this property is my go-to hotel for that getaway. The young woman who checked us in failed to mention the 24 hr pool and instead of offering a fee for earlier check in like usual, gave me an annoyed look and gave me a parking pass. Once in the room, I noticed our tub was leaking and our toilet wouldn’t flush properly. I understand they are going through construction but between the front desk experience and the room, it was very disappointing as a returning member.

My challenge with this trip was related to the front desk staff providing a key to our room to another guest. We were very surprised that evening to see a man enter our room with a key. After a discussion, he realized he had been given the wrong room key, and left. The desk apologized, and gave us an extended departure, leaving at 1pm for our disruption. It was disconcerting at best.

The location of the Promenade Inn is incredible! It is right on the beach, next to the Lewis and Clark statue turn around. There are dozens of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff were great, too! The renovated lobby is beautiful. We ish them the best as they continue to renovate everyyhing!

Everything was great. The room was nice, even before the full remodel they’re currently working on. We had an obstructed view, but you can still see the beach and ocean perfectly. The room had a spacious layout with a nice kitchen, and the balcony was a great bonus. We also paid an extra $35 for a 1pm late checkout, which was a great value and let us enjoy a little more time in the room. With all the updates they’re doing, the place is going to look amazing in the future—and the location is already perfect.

The hotel is going through a lot of renovations, which is why some of the lower scores. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable.. its hard to beat the location as you are right on the beach and within easy walking distance to a ton of shopping and restaurants.

Well, I was attracted by the indoor hot tub and pool. But unfortunately; -there is poor ventilation and therefore it is like a sauna in there. You can’t crack a window or anything. So it made it hard to enjoy the area. It was hard to breathe. Gym unusable! -hot tub temperature was not regulated and burning hot. None of us could use it because it was just too hot. Multiple guests agreed it cause you to faint if you were to actually get in it. Yes, reported to front desk. -So it was feet only. But then you would need to go jump in the pool afterward because the combination of the sauna heat atmosphere and that boiling water was just unbearable.!! -Then they decided to clean the pool early Sunday morning. So we were not even able to try the pool in the early hours for remedy. -Not an enjoyable time because of the fact it was closed all the way until Check!!! So sheeesh that was a waste of amenities. -NO snacks for breakfast in lieu of no continental Brest. WOW! /great staff though! Clean place. Great views The TV remote did not work. So the TV was stuck on one Syfy channel the whole time.front desk came up with another remote and that didn’t work. said he’d be back and never returned. So then we got to watch the cooking channel only for the rest of stay. Also, poor ventilation and no air conditioning in rooms. They do provide a small box fan. You can use that to circulate the humid room. Or you can open a window or your door for fresh air. Cool RM set up tho!

I had a pleasant stay. My room had a kitchen, fireplace, and ocean view balcony. The staff were helpful, providing clean towels and toiletries daily and giving dining tips. We absolutely loved our stay once again, this time under the new name and management. While under construction currently, we did not notice any issues or disturbances during our stay. You cannot beat the location, and the amenities are just as comfortable as ever! Only things I would change are adding a Continental breakfast or a discount for MO’s during your stay!

Construction is ongoing and was a bit noisy. Recent change of ownership. I recommend MOs a local food establishment located just outside the lobby. I wonderful ocean view with a full kitchen made it a wonderful experience. I was here with my grandchildren and my wife, we enjoyed the convenience to the prom board-way. A wonderful holiday experience.

Some major advantages for this hotel. The location is perfect. It's right on the beach and promenade, with a great view in the upper beach-facing units. Staff was excellent, so super friendly and accommodating. While the "partial" view was good from inside the room, and I appreciated the staff trying to give me the best possible view for the room type I could afford. But keep in mind that when you're out on the balcony and sitting, the view is blocked the dirty roof of the restaurant below. When we arrived I had to call down to the desk because the bathroom was not cleaned (dirty things in the shower) and then again when the TV wouldn’t work. Very thankful for the excellent front desk staff who went above and beyond because maintenance had already gone home for the evening.
