They are updating the lobby and slowly renovating rooms, but it is a bit tired looking overall. Also, the hours of the cafe should be reconsidered, they close at 11am til 4pm, meaning if you are hungry you have to leave the property to get something to eat.

Stayed for 2 nights in an ocean view balcony king. Room was great more like a mini suite with a well equipped kitchenette. Bed was amazing. View was awesome. Nice hotel , easy walk into city Centre Main Street. Swimming pool was warm and super clean. Didn’t have breakfast here we made our own in the kitchenette. Only negative comment is the warm air blower vent at the side of the fireplace was loaded with old dust and debris almost to the point of being blocked. Obviously hasn’t been cleaned by house keeping for years.

Quite disappointing. Yes the website says small room, however I was not prepared for how small, lol. I would say only made for one person certainly not two. The whole place is in desperate need of a remodel. Complete do over! Parking lot is extremely tight, watch where you park as you may not be able to get out if you have a SUV like me.

The lobby is stunning. The beach access is perfect. Thats where it ended. My room was not ONCE cleaned while I was there, which explains the fact that there was a broom left in each room. I called DAILY to just get clean towels, then they would bring ONE towel and ONE washcloth. My bedding was WHITE and the room is "pet friendly", so ONE trip to the beach solved that and when I asked for new bedding they brought a stained top sheet. The AC didnt work. There was NO ventilation so ONE shower and the entire room look like a sauna. There were extension cords everywhere and both the fridge and microwave were FILTHY. Thank God I had Walmart delivery and ordered some Clorox wipes, bleach & bought a fan. I was on my FIRST "vacation" in over a year and I spent it cleaning and STILL paid nearly $400 for a room that was so small with overaized (filthy) outdated furniture and can say in all sincerity that it was HORRIBLE. The 2 stars are for the redheaded woman that was at the front desk (the rest were rude and dismissive) and the other star was for the beach access. I won't be back to that motel and dont recommend, unless you enjoy being your own housekeeper, going to this motel. Spend the extra $10-20 a night and get a breakfast included and a clean room. I still loved the beach ⛱️

The room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff was very helpful with check-in/check-out process. The only real complaint we have is that if you leave the hotel parking lot on Sunday morning, and return you will have a hard time finding a parking space in the lot, due to what I believe is church service being held in one of the conference rooms.

Oue room was dirty. We had peanut shells on the floor, the jacuzzi tub had hair in it from prior guest and there were sticky coffee rings on our night stands. Our shower door was up against the toilet which made it difficult to get in and out of the shower, so gross. The room was very small.

Mainly cleanliness was an issue, I found lots of hair and debri on the box spring edge at the top of the bed mattress where it meets the head board and mattress. It was gross. also hair on floor in bathroom and mop boards need to be cleaned. The table on the patio needed cleaning as well. Also coffee cups would be nice to have in the kitchenette and maybe paper plates and some plastic silverware in the cupboard,

The room was very worn. The chairs were worn and needed reupholstered The patio.table and chairs were cracked and broken.It seemed clean but there was black mold in the slider track. I was extremely frustrated They sent a text demanded a prepay. So I called the hotel with my credit card. They called back the demanded I send an email address for proof of who I was. It seemed weird since they had ran my card and payment was cleared. Never had to do that anywhere else! it was weird. The location was great and so was the view. It was very expensive don’t feel like I got my moneys worth.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic for access to the boardwalk and the beach. Beds were comfy. Don't expect AC since you are at the beach, but the room came equipped with a fan which was nice. The wi-fi was spotty which made working a little difficult.

Booked the economy room because it was all that was left and boy is it tiny! If you are claustrophobic I do not recommend it. The only window that opened was the one right next to the stairwell so it not like you could open any windows to get a view or fresh air. At $270 after taxes I was a bit disappointed. However the employees were very kind and professional.

Very well kept up property with a nice cafe on main floor. If you want to see the ocean get 3rd floor or higher as 1st and 2nd cannot see past the dunes. The promenade is right next to hotel so easy access to Main Street and plenty of parking. Great stay!

Ulrich and Bianca at the front desk were friendly and accommodating! Wonderful customer service from them. It was a blustery day when we arrived at the Hotel and when we entered our room, it was warm and inviting. The room was spacious and clean. The fireplace is ambience only but the room was plenty warm and cozy. With the lights off, the fireplace gave the room a cozy feel. We had the clam chowder and buffalo wings at the hotel restaurant. Both were tasty and satisfying. We’ll return again in the near future.

We recently stayed for a 3-night trip and had reserved an ADA accessible room with a roll-in shower, as our mom uses a wheelchair full-time and has only one leg. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find the hotel had “upgraded” us—without asking—to a non-accessible room and had given our reserved room to someone else. This caused a lot of initial frustration and concern, as accessible accommodations are not optional for us. To the staff’s credit, once they realized the situation, they took full responsibility, sincerely apologized, and acknowledged their mistake. They initially offered a refund, but when we explained that no other accessible hotels were available, they went above and beyond to fix the issue. They were able to relocate other guests and provide us with an ADA room with one bed, as well as an adjoining room with a bed and couch—ensuring our mom had what she needed and that our family was comfortable. While the situation should not have happened in the first place, the staff handled it with professionalism and genuine care. Once settled, the accommodations worked well for us and the remainder of our stay went smoothly. We appreciated the effort to make things right, and ultimately had a wonderful trip. Thank you to the staff who worked quickly and kindly to resolve the issue.

We loved our stay at this hotel! We were thinking we were just getting a regular no view room, but we were pleasantly surprised with full ocean view! I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Everything was so close, we hardly drove the whole time. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

Even though the property was being remodeled, it did not impact our satisfaction with the stay. That says a lot. The staff was excellent! The room was spotless. The view was amazing. They do need to check the kitchen sink. A little slow to drain. Not a big deal.

We found the hotel very family friendly. I travel a lot and the little details made me feel very comfortable. The toilets were a bit lower which helped my kid. Hot coffee and hot water available in the lobby at all times, a nice table and multiple chairs to feed everyone, microwave was super useful (which even 4 star hotels won't have by default), spacious fridge. Location is great - close to the beach and we were able to take a walk along the river. We got an ocean view room and I wasn't expecting it. Lots of restaurants and activities nearby.

The property feels a bit old but it’s clean and spacious, and our room was well appointed with a small kitchen, fireplace and balcony. From the second floor we could see and hear the ocean over the sandy dunes. Access to the promenade and beach is excellent and being 2 short blocks from the noise and busy-ness of the Main Street, it was peaceful.
