Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn

I booked a partial view however, the it wasn’t the best view and for that price I would have booked somewhere else. However, the room was clean but it’s time for an update! It’s getting old and you can see it. We wanted to use the hot tub but we never could; it was always packed with children day and night so that was useless. Overall, decent but probably won’t be going back.

Everything was clean and fresh looking. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Warm and clean pool. Awesome breakfast .

Great location, great room, great rate. My only complaint was the parking. We had to park way far away from our room, which was very inconvenient with 3 small children and my elderly mom. We did love the room and all the amenities.

The staff at the front desk and house keeping were very good to us. The room was clean, the food in the breakfast room was nice. The room we had also had a Kitchenette in it. The beds were comfortable and the view from our room wasn't to bad for being a lower level unit. They do offer the items you need to make smores for a fee. At night they make free cookies and the coffee in the office is usually kept fresh.

Good hotel. Room is spacious. Our room had a couch bed, which was well appreciated. Space outside the room was limited is a couple ways. Parking is very limited. We had to park in the overflow lot every day we cane back to the hotel in the evening. Breakfast is good, but there are only 6 tables in the breakfast area, so we had to eat in our room several times. The pool is indoor and heated. Very nice. Our stay was in late July and the room got very warm. There is no AC and opening the sliding door to the balcony only cooled down the room a little bit. The hotel is right next to the aquarium and less than a 10 minute walk to downtown Seaside, which is nice because the downtown area has very limited parking. I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast room.was very small for the amount of guests at the property. The layout of the buildings and parking was cramped probably due to the amount of land available next to the ocean.

The hotel was on the beach which was the one thing that made the trip ok. The hotel needs upgrading it was rundown in every respect. And there was no way near enough parking.

They have Doggy boxes for your pet- towels to wipe off sand, a sheet for the bed, treats, a doggy bowl- so nice! Good continental breakfast! Hot tub needed cleaning or refacing, but pool was actually warm!

The staff are friendly, and helpful. The property is by the beach side. The Inn is old but well-maintained and clean. There was free breakfast which had a small selection but filling. There's no air-conditioning but it was cold so it was alright. A portable fan was provided if the need arises. The room had a fireplace too. They had amenities such as pool and hot tub. They have cookies every 6:00PM. The overall stay was comfortable!

We were on the 3rd floor facing the ocean. Was such a great view. The only issue I had was that the windows weren't cleaned.

Staff was so pleasant and friendly. Beautiful view. Room was a bit dirty and pretty old fixtures and furnishings. Carpet around baseboards was dusty and hairy.

We loved everything about the Ebb Tide. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and hottub and pool was very clean.

We have stayed at EBB TIDE HOTEL many times. It has Always been very clean. Staff is Friendly, helpful with a peaceful atmosphere. Located on the promenade down from restraunts and shops, then Just a few steps and you're on the beach. We love the people, They're friendly, and kind. You even get homemade cookies at 6 o'clock Every evening. There's a nice clean pool. We've always had a great time there.

The kitchenette in our room was old and in need of a remodel or serious cleaning. The room over all was older and that was fine, but the kitchen area needs attention. This room should not be used until upgraded, very gross and I couldn't touch anything.

Location is excellent, right on the beach and near downtown restaurants and activities. Unfortunately our room had an ant infestation and one of the sinks was blocked. They fixed the sink immediately though. Ants are a more difficult problem to resolve.

My family and I loved our stay here. The room was spacious and we loved our partial view. The breakfast was good, the pool was warm and the location was amazing!

We do a lot of traveling and hotel stays, and i dont like to leave negative reviews, but we will not be coming back to this place. As soon as we opened the door to our room, i was disappointed. The smell is awful (old smell and by morning smelled of urine), hair left in the bottom of tub from others, so no shower, window frame in bedroom is metal and rusty, curtains look as if from 70s and super hard to open/close, soon as you turn on the fire place you get a nice gust of propane smell, and couch is disgusting! The only good thing was the bed and maybe that's because we were exhausted!

Hotel could use some maintenance. Bedroom window was locked by using a piece of lumber. Same windows stop was also a board nailed into the upper sill. Shower head was really loose and sprayed all over the walls when first turned on. Furniture needs replaced,very uncomfortable. But was clean and for the most part very quite.

Location and view was wonderful. The room was very crammed, no air conditioning, table wobbly, windows had condensation between the panes, so the view was blocked, old musty smell. The pictures in the description were very misleading.

The room was so big and comfortable. It's a little older and the bathroom is small but honestly the room and kitchenette is great and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the bathroom anyway. Check in was pretty fast considering a fee of us showed up at the same time. I've stayed here a few times and will stay here in the future.

We had a great time at the Ebb Tides. We arrived a little early before announced check-in time and the helpful woman at the front desk gave us a choice of rooms. When we selected one, she told us it was her favorite on the property and that if we weren't thrilled, to come back and she'd give us another. The room was clean and comfortable although some of the furniture was a little outdated and the kitchenette had no utensils or dishes (the breakfast room was accessible and we got stuff there). The only cautions I would mention are that the wifi coverage was very poor in our room (top floor corner room) and that being right along the Prom there were noises outside at all hours. That said, we would go back again without hesitation.

Room was spacious and clean, even though it’s old. There was no air conditioning which makes the room smell a little musty. Breakfast was very good with a big selection of choices. The employees were all very nice and helpful. Awesome location on the promenade. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location right next to the beach. You can hear the ocean, but you can also hear people walking up and down the promenade. It was very clean but the bed wasn't great and there were no TV streaming options.

PROS: We loved the location. Right next to the beach, shopping, dining and entertainment. The bed was very comfortable. Great water pressure. Kids had a blast in the pool. CONS: Half of the drawers in the dressers were completely broken. The pull out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Bars poking into your back. We stayed 4 nights and we didn’t have hot water even once in the shower. I didn’t feel like there were enough towels/washcloths/hand towels/ pool towels available. (Especially when most people are frequently visiting the beach) all Of the reviews I read prior to booking raved about the complimentary breakfast, but our family didn’t like it.

Loved the view, the suite was plenty big enough, location, beach access, parking it was all great!! 10/10

Spacious, comfortable room with a wonderful gas fireplace to enjoy after watching the sun set into the Pacific.

Bed was rock hard. Otherwise the room was ok. Could do a little better on the cleaning.

We had a great, short visit to the Ebb tide. The hotel is a little dated, but you can see they are making upgrades. Its location cannot be beat. They made efforts to save parking for hotel guests during a very busy weekend, which was so nice. The breakfast area is nice. The staff was nice. I was worried about the no AC thing...but, honestly, the breeze from the ocean and the fans kept the room cool, even on a 80 degree day. We had a great stay, until the last hour. I woke up early, before 7am, to request a late check out. (This is early for a nightshift worker...if you know, you know). I was given a hour late check out, which was great. I packed most of our stuff, went for a walk, and came back to take a little nap. At 11:20, a call came to the room, I had to get out of bed to answer it in the corner. I was asked why I was still in the room. After explaining the situation, they apologized and found the note on my account from earlier. Then, not even 15min later, I recieved another call, waking me up again, to ask why we were still in the room! This was super frustrating. I understand that things happen, but it seems like I was being harassed. They apologized again. After hanging up, the phone rang again twice but then stopped. I was over it. we ended up just grabbing our stuff and leaving earlier than planned. Maybe dont give people late check outs if all youre gonna do is call them continuously during that time to ask them why they haven't left yet?

or stay was just OK, due to the fact we were told we would receive a text when our room was ready, but that text never came. My granddaughter did not feel good so we just had to hang out in the car for hours. The only other complaint is, we were awakened by the room phone, telling us they had a noise complaint, but my granddaughter had been asleep for three hours, and I have been asleep for at least two. Wrong room, unfortunately.

Front staff was great! We originally reserved one night and decided we loved the area and requested another night in the same room and they were great accepting our request. Later found my wife forgot some vital medication and requested removing the second night and they were very helpful and understanding removing the second night.

This was out honeymoon, we didn’t show up until 9pm and the staff was still welcoming and friendly. They even gave us a room upgrade to celebrate our marriage! Clean room, super nice, this couldn’t have went any better. We’ll be staying here for beach trips from now on, no question

The check-in staff was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. They made it easy to park early, then offered (without being asked about it) to call if the room was ready before check in time. They helped with several questions and were excellent resources. I’ll be back!

Staff was super nice even when having to pack a rollaway bed up 3 flights of stairs the guy never complained once! We will definitely be back

When we arrived after driving 3 hours, we show up and the inform me my reservation was cancelled. No call no email nothing. Said it was over booked and it was expedias fault. I was on the phone when we booked and they said they seen our reservation. I called the same day we were showing up about early check in they said it’s fine our room would be ready and they seen my reservation. They then get us into a room and tell us we will have to move the next day but it’s one bed no heat we were like um no. All weekend we went through this with these people. Horrible.

Ebb Tide is right on the beach! It's backdoor is the Promenade. We had a cute room with a fireplace and the breakfast is really good! I was pleasantly surprised. I would stay here again.

Hotel is clean, a little aged but comfortable. Located next to the aquarium and on the promenade. Great spot to get to the beach. Being on the promenade also means lots of people and noise going by.

Walking distance from the beach so it was an easy walk to and from the hotel! The room itself was clean and spacious. Very walkable…there are multiple dining areas around town walking distance from the hotel.

This place was so cozy! Loved the location (right by the water), and the folks running it were super kind. I enjoyed chatting with the gal at the front desk when I arrived, and she was so helpful in telling me where to best park for my room, what to expect while staying there, and other helpful and fun tips. I was here for a work trip in Cannon Beach, and it was nice to stay in Seaside, which was much quieter than Cannon Beach itself. I really liked it here and would 100% stay here again.

Very friendly & helpful staff. The property was located a short walk from the main street in town. The beach was right out the door and we did a fire and smores on the beach one night, which was a highlight. The breakfast was ok but eggs appeared to be powder eggs and it was tough to find a seat in the breakfast room so we ended up eating on a beach bench most mornings.

I’ve been visiting the Ebb Tide Hotel since I was a little girl. It’s charming, slightly outdated, and just a hop away from the main strip and the aquarium—perfect for pondering life while watching fish. The rooms are clean and comfy, the bathrooms spotless, and the lobby service is very welcoming. Plus, they serve coffee all day, which is essential for survival. Comtinental Breakfast is served daily between 7-10AM. Offer pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and more. But the real highlight? Around 6 PM, the lobby brings out trays of cookies that are practically a treasure hunt! Just beware: they disappear faster than you can say "cookie monster." I've seen guests grab them like they're auditioning for a cookie-eating contest! 🧐 Hotel also has firewood, kindling and paper for about $6.00. I highly recommend going out to the beach to do a fire. It’s beautiful to watch the sunset and view the stars at night. You may be lucky to see a fireworks show. Overall, Ebb Tide Hotel is a nostalgic gem with a side of cookie chaos. I will always keep coming back for the memories ❤️

Front desk staff were very friendly. Room was okay. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable. Disappointed with breakfast. Pancake machine wasn’t working. There are on 6 or 7 s tables, so if you got there when it’s busy, there is nowhere to sit. The room maybe sits 15 people. We had to take our food back to our room. Would have selected a different hotel without breakfast for the same price had we realized we wouldn’t have anywhere to sit.

Great location just blocks away from the city center. We only stayed one night but it was clean, safe, and enjoyable. They had a nice breakfast in the morning.

GREAT location but hotel is rundown and because it is a pet friendly hotel it smells like wet dog. They should have pet designated rooms. The breakfast omelettes were good on the weekend but Monday and Tuesday the scramble eggs were cold.
