Interesting place. Great location, about a block away from the main drag. No staff on site. Literally everything in the room was cracked, stained, broken, etc. But it was reasonably priced, a true 2 bedroom so great for a family and they allow dogs.

This hotel was conveniently located right in the heart of downtown Seaside. I was able to park here and walk everywhere. The beach is right up the street about three blocks. Shopping is right across the street including lots of dining options. The room was a little cramped though and it would’ve been nice to have a bigger vanity in the bathroom and a chair and table in the living area.

Very confusing and inconvenient. Tiny motel and parking lot. The sign is an LED display that was illegible so I didn’t know if I was even in the right place. The office was closed and had a note telling visitors to drive across town to check in. The name of the of the motel across town was different than the name I was given when I called. Someone banged on the door at 10:30 am yelling something in Spanish. Later figured out that it was housekeeping. Check out was “just leave the keys on top of the microwave”. Way overpriced for such an unprofessional business.

Older rooms. Needs updated. Good downtown location. We would stay again. Very close to the aquarium. Office is not near these rooms. Free ice was nice. One story rooms was nice. Nice little patio. No place to let dogs go potty if you do bring your dogs.

The bed was comfortable but the room wasn’t. It was so small we couldn’t even walk into it without turning sideways. The TV didn’t work, there wasn’t an end table on the side of the bed, the towel rack fell off, there wasn’t any type of bathroom counter or any place to unpack our clothes es. We had to make coffee on the floor because there wasn’t a plug in for the coffee pot. We were told by the advertising that there was a pool, but it was taken out 8 years ago! I was very disappointed. There was no manager on site and we had to drive across town to check in. The only thing that was nice was that there was a maid that cleaned the room daily, and we could walk to downtown. The room should have cost around $80 per night, but we were way overcharged! We paid over $250 because there was a tournament in town!

Quaint older motel style that has been updated. Our room was pretty small, but had the basics available. Bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet. Parking was available at our front door. We had to drive to another location to get our room key. The clerk was very friendly though. Excellent location, a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We ate at the Times Theatre & Public House. Highly recommend the pretzel knots & beer cheese, $11 flights. If you time it right, you can watch a movie on the big screen while you eat! I would stay here again, as the price was excellent for the location!

This room was absolutely disgusting!! Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in months. The only thing clean was the bed and bedding. There was mildew all over in the shower, soap scum all over bottom of tub. The heaters were covered in grime and dust. Walls had smashed bugs and grime all over. The TV remotes didn’t work, bottom of TV screen would go in and out. Shutters in bedroom broken. Grease and grime all over all the appliances, broken outlet covers. All the windows had dirt, mildew and dead bugs in the tracks. Broken blinds in bathroom, missing from one window. The only reason we did not leave, was there was no other rooms available in Seaside and we were there for a soccer tournament.

Thin walls made it noisy when neighbors did anything. No bed side table on one side. No counter or hook in the bathroom for belongings. Pubes in the toilet. No fan in the bathroom. Hair on pillowcase and on bathtoom towel. Visible thick coating of dust coating the celing fan and smoke detector. You have to drive a few minutes away from motel to check in at another hotel where we waited at least 5 minutes for the attendant to show up. Bed was comfortable enough.

Room was so small. There was only a sink in the bathroom, no vanity to put your items on, shower was very small. We had no bath towels and had to ask for them. The walls were so thin we could hear every word the other customers were saying and every word on their TV they were watching. It was really that bad. Could not sleep with the noise. There is nothing worse than laying there all night long and listening to that and getting no sleep. The lady at the front desk was nice.

We booked a room under the name of one hotel, and were sent to another location across town. The room was VERY small, and the bathroom was MICRO. The bathroom sink cabinet vaneer was peeling away. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, and in general, it was still in good shape. If the facility was advertised as having no AC - it wasn't prominant, as the fact that it had no AC caught me unaware. In general, this is not the sort of place that I would stay at voluntarily, but for one night - it was available and tollerable.

City Centre Motel by OYO PROS: a very short distance from the beach and culture of Seaside; easy parking; very cozy bed with quality sheets; affordable CONS: Extremely small room, fridge literally blocks half of the bathroom entry (could be problematic for plus size folks or those with mobility issues); no chairs or places to sit other than bed; check-in not on-site but at another OYO motel 0.5 mi away; internet so weak that no sites load (none) -- Would stay here again. The affordability and convenient location outweigh the shortcomings of the room, and OYO could go a long way by adding at least one chair that conveniently slides under the wide dresser/entertainment center as well as investing in a stronger internet router.

Pictures are deceiving. Either we got the smallest room possible or the pictures were not valid. Felt like a NYC closet. Less than a foot between bed and bathroom. No AC. Had to keep window close as it opened up to another rooms front door with ppl in and out all hours. For the amount of money paid, expected MUCH more. No staff on site had to go to another motel 5 min away and wait to get a single key. Felt catfished to be honest. Only thing that was good about was location and just a few blocks away from walkway. I would not choose to stay here again. No amenities. Mini fridge was cold but housekeeping left it open so all our stuff in there was ruined. Tried to call management but hung up after being on hold for 10 minutes. Overall spend a lil bit more money and get something bigger and better amenities. It was clean though, will give them that.

This property is close to the beach and shops which was fantastic. The shower head appeared to have mold on the inside of it, which was rather gross. There was a very loud whistle sound when the room next door turned on the shower. Overall, it was an okay experience, but unsure I would stay there again.

The one bed room is TINY with just a small walk in shower and small sink area. $200 for this room just seems excessive. The bed was very noisy and uncomfortable, we didn't sleep very well and woke up with our necks and backs hurting. There is nobody available at the front desk to check you in after 9pm. I had to wait for the owner to come after calling her while she ate dinner and another guest had already been waiting about 15-20 minutes before I even got there. The whole place just seems very dated, but it was at least clean. No closet to hang things up, FYI. There is a ceiling fan, but no AC/heating system that i saw. Maybe there's a thermostat on the wall that I missed. It was just a pricey place to sleep, and I wouldn't say a good place for anyone but a couple looking for minimal amenities.

Enjoyed staying at City Center Motel one night. It was convenient and clean and quiet. I was surprised to need to go to a nearby motel to pick up the key to my room but it was just a minutes drive to get there and the person at the desk was friendly and efficient. No worries.

First I do not like no manager on site and you check in at another location. That is low class and tasteless The location is excellent can walk to anything, no one else was here so was quiet. Was clean and stocked fine, just glad no one needed anything as no hotel staff was there!!

I submitted my issue via another email and have not received a response. I was unable to take advantage of the reservation as the check-in office was closed when I arrived. I was not notified that they would close by 9:00p. I arrived around 10:30p. I had been in the area for hours and would have checked in if I had known.

Terrible service in that you can't check in on site- you need to drive to their sister location to check in. The lady at the desk was surly. Poor customer service- especially since you're on site without any staff support- what if the toilet was clogged? You needed more towels? You drive over to the other towel? The good news is that the room was small but very clean. The bed was comfortable. I slept very well. They do a great job of taking care of the property and cleaning it.

The first problem was checkin. After an all day drive we arrived to a sign on the office door saying that that office was closed and we had to drive across town to check in at the office at a a different hotel owned by the same company. The next problem was that in the middle of the night slug came out in the kitchen. I stepped on one while heading to the bathroom. In the morning we discovered that the hot water in the shower was not very hot.

We were not allowed to check in. I asked for clarification of why the self-professed manager on duty, Sadie, was asking for my home address. She immediately became defensive, insulting, and hostile. I turned to my husband and asked if perhaps we should stay elsewhere or even head home after this awful treatment, at which point Sadie interrupted, saying, "I think you should go home." We left, and checked into an excellent hotel elsewhere. When I called OYO to demand a refund, Sadie lied to them and claimed that I had refused to give her my state-issued ID, for which she never asked. I need my money back, and I expect Expedia to help me make that happen immediately.

Everything was great other than when we got there at 5pm no one was there to check us in. We had to go to another building and still no one. There were 5 separate parties waiting to check in. Finally someone pulled up carrying food, opened up and started checking people in. There was no apology or note on the door either.

There is no check-in available at this property. You need to go to another property on the other side of town. Orbitz does not mention any of this. The desk staff did not care that we had to walk across town at night to get the keys to the room. Avoid at all costs. Unsafe and unclean property

I made a reservation through Expedia. The property office was closed after previously stated it would be open for 2 more hours. It was terrible weather and we had to drive to other property to check in and get key. When we get to other property there was a sign on door and office was closed for at least 30 minutes. Office person arrives and was not friendly to begin with then said she could not let us stay because I live 20 miles north. No locals allowed apparently. This is not stated on any property website or booking companies sites. My partner was in town and can’t stay with me so we needed a room. There was one other customer in the whole motel. At least let us pay a higher rate. Seems like you’d want all the money you can get in the off season. She agreed to refund us but we have limited money and the refund won’t process for 7-10 days! I will not be recommending this property to my visitors from out of state. Ebb Tide Inn cost the same and we had view of ocean and fireplace. No issues with being “local”. I will be recommending them.

Great value and within an easy walking distance, 2 blocks, to get to the restaurants and shops on the Main Street in Seaside. Smaller but comfortable not crowded rooms and small but very adequate bathroom. Just the basics but it was a great value being so close to everything, we never had to drive to get to anywhere and walked to lunch/dinner/gelato each day and to the shops. It is also just 2 blocks from the beach. I will definitely stay here again!
