We went there with a family size of five (there kids and two adults). We planned to stay for three nights and changed the plan to two nights after we arrived. The room is a little bit compact, and we get side bed with extra payment. The pool was excellent for us, the walking way on the backside of the hotel is beautiful with ocean view. The customer service of front desk is very nice. They offered the refund for the night I did not use right away. Overall, we are very satisfied with time stayed there.

Great location to beach,downtown shopping/restaurants. We had a first floor room and did not feel secure leaving just the screen door open all night as the hotel has no air conditioning. Being middle Sept. heat not a problem at this time but would be in the middle of summer. Minor point, the parking spaces nice and large to open car doors.

It was close to the promenade. The parking lot was always full and they have overflow parking across the street but inconvenient with a person with a walker. The rooms do not have A/C but it rained the whole time we were there. We got the bottom floor with a view of the walkway. Would have preferred to be up a couple of floors for the ocean view.

Love this Hotel, stayed many times. Location & view perfect. Staff very helpful, swimming pool was great. Only issue was a storm with heavy winds knockes our tv cable service, not hotels fault but there was a DVD player and DVDs available.

Location was fine. Elevator was broken, found prior occupants dirty panties left in room by the TV. DVD player didn’t work. I’m almost 80 and the elevator was always broken and I was on the 2nd floor. Lots of stairs. Parking was almost non existent. Hot tub smelled of BO. Toilet in pool area was not able to be flushed and smelled of poop. Had to carry luggage up and down 2 flights of stairs. Key card didn’t work. Tap in the kitchen sink was broken and couldn’t get water when needed.

Liked the room. Partial view of the ocean. Loved the mini kitchen. Actual coffee cups,plates,silverware. Full size coffee pot. The room was great. Dislikes , pool is in a separate building with lots of people and kids in it.Have to go outside to get to the pool. Kids and people were loud in the pool and parking lot. Stairs aren’t the greatest.

Such a diamond in the rough. Very clean, large, cozy kitchenette room. Beds were comfortable. The sliding glass door to the balcony was nice and tight - no wind leaking thru. Heated pool was relaxing. Great shower by the hot tub area. All staff I spoke with were helpful. Onsite parking with a working elevator. Love this place.

This is the second time we've stayed here. Though it is a little dated, it is very clean and spacious and the location couldn't be better! It is one block away from the main tourist area and right across from the beach! I love to sit out on the deck and have a fantastic view of the ocean! The staff are great and they gave a pool and a breakfast. We'll likely be back again!

Beautiful location within walking distance to everything. Hotel is very dated with micro mini bathrooms. Overall it was a comfortable stay. Room was clean but could really use some updating, especially with lighting… room was very dark.

If you want oceanfront to just sit on the beach, it is on the ocean front. Otherwise we would never go there again. First of all the elevator was terrifying. Second they offer Wi-Fi but it doesn’t work 90% of the time and they don’t care. The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. Dark rooms. Several ocean side hotels do not have air conditioning because it’s cooler at night. But if you’re on the lower level and cannot open your patio doors all night because it’s not safe, the room gets suffocatingly hot. We had two fans going and all it did was blow around hot air. If you’re on an upper floor and you can keep your patio door open it might be better. It is about two blocks from a street that has restaurants. They boast shopping in the area, but we thought the shopping was pretty lame. We would definitely not stay there ever again.

I've stayed here for years and like it because it does have a balcony. I always get an ocean front view room and it also except dogs. It just needs a major room renovation. I don't think this has been renovated in 20 years.

The room was clean, which is certainly appreciated. But the facilities are incredibly outdated, and the place is very loud. You can always hear if anyone is outside, even if they’re just walking and making no noise. You can also constantly hear people on the floor above you. Overall, facilities are poor, though clean

Just stayed here with my Wife for a night. Forgot to make sure I had booked a pet free room due to my Wife's severe allergies. When I arrived I asked the front desk employee about it, and they changed our room free of charge to a pet free one without any hesitation. They were more than gracious and welcoming! The hotel although older is kept immaculate! It's near spotless, our bedding was perfect. The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We had an issue turning on the fireplace, but once we called the front desk they got maintenance to fix it immediately. We've stayed at nearly all the hotels in Seaside and this is by far the best one we've stayed at! Staff is amazing, place is spotless, bedding is clean. It was a wonderful experience! Will definitely be staying here again

Close to the ocean. Beautiful area and close walk to the main tourist area of Seaside. The staff were awesome and it was nice having DVD movies to watch with the family and cookies. The pool was clean and warm.

The real rating is more like 4.5 stars. I knocked off 1/2 star because the breakfast was strictly coffee and carbs, and the room was a bit dated. However, the room was very clean and comfortable and had the best view of the ocean you can get without being outside. There are breakfast places within 3 miles of the hotel. We will be returning.

The hotel is really close to all the downtown shops and restaurants. A great location. Easy and close beach access. Great views of the ocean. Cookies after 6pm and salt water taffy at the front were a very warm welcoming touch. The staff were extremely nice and informative. The continental breakfast was just enough to get us going for the day. Would stay here again.

The perfect weekend getaway. This hotel is right on the promenade with beach access just steps away. I love the location - just a few blocks from the main road with all the shops and attractions, immediate beach access that is away from the big crowd, beautiful unobstructed view. The room is dated, but the beds are comfy (updated bedding, nice pillows) and the tv has so many options (streaming, movies, cable, dvd player). The breakfast is simple so you can get back to enjoying your stay - cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt, milk, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and tea. We will be making this hotel our go-to whenever we stay in Seaside!

Great location just a short walk to the main strip. Older and worn it is still kept clean. The staff is very friendly and quick to help. Breakfast includes cereal, breads, yogurt, boiled eggs. A selection of teas, juice and coffee. The hot tub has great jets and a nice temperature.

This is our 3rd year staying at the hotel! We love the breakfast that’s offered although some hot options would be good. The room is very spacious I love how close it is to the beach the only thing I wish was different is the softness of the beds other then that 10/10

This was an excellent experience with the hotel. Its location is amazing. The staff is very fun to deal with and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay pleasant. They haven’t mentioned that but they do have continental breakfast and even more they have free fresh cookies at 6pm. I would spend my next summer vacation here!
