Hotel rep checked me in, you could tell that they're doing a lot of maintenance work with new paint and keeping up with everything. I would say that the paint job in the bathroom I had was sloppy but eh I don't care much about that. We came in very late night off the road, with a pet and kids grabbed several hours of sleep and hit back on the road again and this was the perfect spot for this! I've never stayed at a red roof and I didn't have high expectations but honestly I've stayed in nastier hotels with bigger names than this so I give them props I really do!

Planned trip threw hotels.com got the room i book was not available. They gave me a different room. It had a huge jacuzzi tub in the corner of the room. Went to the bathroom and tirned on light's. Saw a bunch of bugs running around. T.v. didnt work. Went to desk they fixed the tv. I asked for bug spray. They said that they would spray the room. They did not. The bathroom was dark barely lit. Floors dirty.

Check-in was great. Check-in clerk was very accommodating. Price was inexpensive for the area. Parking was sufficient. Bad: i expected a lot more from a Red Roof Inn. Floors we cracked and had some give. Cracked tiles in the bathroom. Bathroom needs an overhaul. Towels and bedding did not match. Beds were not well made.

For an outdated place like this, the most they should be charging is $60. The chair in the room was so dirty, I put a towel down over it before sitting down. The room only had one outlet to charge your phone and that was underneath a table not my the bed.

I had to cancel my stay shortly after arrival due to extremely poor conditions. The room was in an unacceptable state—there were cockroaches, unpleasant odors, and visible dirt throughout the space. The bedsheets and bathroom were particularly unhygienic, which made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe staying there. Very disappointed, as the photos and descriptions online did not match the reality.

They had to move rooms once due to mildew on the shower, live roaches were crawling, the sheets were dirty and looked slept in and there was some sort of rodent feces on the floor. The location was scary and questionable and my nieces didn’t want to even go inside. We had a reservation for two nights and they only stayed one out of desperation. They went to the store and bought their own sheets and a blanket.

Room was filthy, literally every surface in that room had stains or was greasy or filthy. The floor was sticky and every light switch had what looked like old food or bodily fluids on it. I dont think anyone has cleaned it in years.

When I saw their parking lot is almost full I did not expect a quiet night, but it was super quiet. Room was super clean and free from weird chemical fragrances. Comfortable king size bed gave me good sleep and rest.

Worst experience I’ve had since booking rooms through Expedia. The red roof inn room was filthy. The sheets had dried yellow stains on them, the bed itself had huge dried blackish reddish stains. There was hair on the bed and crack in the jacuzzi. Worst part was we I kindly asked to switch my room it was refused and I was simply handed some sheets as though that was going to fix the issue. I quickly packed my stuff and check out and couldn’t even receive a refund although I hadn’t even been there more that a hour or so. 0/5

There were roaches all throughout the room #215. The linen was dirty, no towels, no toilet paper in the room. The requested towels were stained dirty looking yellowish. I would NEVER stay there or suggest anyone that I care about to get a room at this location. This was definitely a very poor decision that I made booking here half asleep the day of travel.

It was somewhat clean. the room was cleaned in general but the bedding smelled used. There was a strange tub in the sleeping area which was weird. The bathroom was clean. The coffee bar area was lit by a light bar that was attached above the bathroom top trim. So it was not obvious that there was a light there.The walls were paper thin. I am sure I heard someone around 10:30pm having sex for at least 40 minutes and they were in the room above me. So be warned, this is not a safe space for kids and family vacations.

Valdosta hotels were pretty sold out on this particular weekend and we read some of the reviews about this hotel but had no choice as we had to spend a Friday night in Valdosta... The front desk was pretty helpful but couple of the rooms were dirty and we had to ask for clean sheets... Some from our party went to Walmart to buy pillows... Would not recommend

The customer service was good. But I was told I could not have anyone visit me at my room. The first room was very unclean. But once I told front desk they immediately switch my room for a more clean one. But it's convenient to places to eat as well as grocery stores. I would recommend for an over night stay are someone who's there for constract work. Not business.

There is nothing good to save about this property !! When I pulled up there was a homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk, working man & women walking the street in front of property, people smoking drugs and the smell inside the office was sickening !! I stood waiting for the attendant to come out of the office to cancel, and he was too busy talking on the phone at 11:00pm to help me. There was another gentleman pacing about with his cash money in his hand to book a room. I felt unsafe, scared & honestly frightened for me life and my possessions. This hotel looked NOTHING as it did when I booked the room on Hotels.com !! You really should verify the information when accepting hotels on your site. I made the decision to get back in my vehicle and drive as quickly as I could away from this HORRIFIC facility. Shame on you for not refunding my $$ when it was clearly not as advertised !! My life & safety is worth more. I wonder how many other patrons have done the same, and that is FREE money for this horrible hotel !! Red Roof Inns have always been nice facilities and I've stayed in them many times over the years, but this is DEFINITELY not a place that should be able to use the reputation of Red Roof, its a disgrace and a complete lie !!

Property was fully of sketchy people, druggies included. People hanging out in parking lot like it was a party. Didn’t feel safe going to and from the car. We absolutely will not stay here again The mattress was filthy, actually put a cover on it just to be able to sleep on it. No soap or shampoo for showering. Worst Red Roof Inn EVER

My children and I were terrified due to the sketchy people in the parking lot and the overall look of the property. This was nothing like any other Red Roof we have ever been to. We had to change rooms 3 time! The first one had a badly dripping faucet in the shower, the 2nd had roaches just coming from everywhere, and the 3rd one had broken fixtures in addition to the rooms and the beds being significantly smaller. I would not stay here again

I normally don’t write reviews but I fell I need to share this. It was filthy, smelled like mold, the bathroom trim had mold and was literally falling off the wall. “Breakfast” was a joke, small boxes of cereal and bagged white bread. The front desk host acted like you were a complete hassle to her when checking in. THEN she gave our room (with a key card) to the guests behind us! To top if off I think it’s a place where Grinder people “hook up”!! I saw some sketchy things. Leave it at that…

The housekeeping staff were wonderful. I needed extra towels and washcloths and it was no problem. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain and there were roaches in the bathroom. The other sink, that would drain, had no light over it, so I brushed my teeth and washed my face there, in the dark. The parking lot had some sketchy people hanging out in the woodsy area by it. I don't know if they were guests or just loitering. I'm not sure why there is no continental breakfast. The person that checked us in said they stopped during COVID... well it's 2024 and other hotels brought it back. Why are you being so cheap? We won't stay here again, but it's not the fault of the housekeeping staff.
