Stayed there the night before our cruise, walkable distance to beach and walmart. Pool was out for repair a few months and it is not free parking, you get charged for something you expect to be included. The staff was nice, food was good. Would use again next time in town.

Overall, our stay was good. The room was nice and had been recently renovated. What was confusing was I had paid for a room with a sofa bed yet there wasn't one in the room. It wasn’t a huge deal to me, but could’ve been for another party. Not sure if the property was still under construction, but if so, hoping the elevators get some love. The elevators were clunky, made a lot of noise and were not reliable. Also, always seemed to have a large puddle of water in them. The only other issue was the hot water. Every time we showered, had to turn the lever off, back on and off a couple times to trigger the hot water flow. That was kind of annoying, but at least got hot water at some point. The staff was friendly, accommodating and quick with any issues.

I liked everything about the property and my stay except for the fact that we were charged $15 to park in the garage of the hotel that we paid to stay at, and the tub was slow to drain. Otherwise it was excellent and the staff and food was amazing.

Our room was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. Great view of ocean. No guest laundry that sucked. Pool was ice cold and hot tub was hard to get into, jets did not work. And water smelled like piss... staff was friendly and helpfull.

We arrived at our room and saw the room looked clean, the bed was nicely made and clean. I went to the bathroom, and there was a pile of towels on the bathroom counter, I started putting them away and noticed there was a hand towel that look like it had pubic hair on it and had been used. When I put the bath towels up, a long, long black hair from a woman’s head was on the towel. What the Heck !!! There was black hair on the floor and in the sink. I clean it up . This will be the last time at this hotel. I am so tired of the cleaning staff in these hotels doing a half ass d job ! It is unsanitary.

Old and smelly. Looked nothing like the photos. Left the very next morning and only stayed the night because we arrived at midnight. They have ventilation fans on every floor because of the mold smell.. just felt gross waking up in that hotel can’t believe they are affiliated with Hilton honors

I understand this is a pet friendly facility, but the smell was atrocious!!! The carpets reeked of urine, just walking in the smell was awful, they need to remove ALL the carpets n just leave floor if they want to continue to be a pet friendly hotel.

The room smells pee and the carpet it was kind of wet and also super dirty, if you was barefoot you feels yucky and sticky. I don't recommend this place at all

The room was very clean and comfortable. The mattress was firm but comfortable and the pillows were just right. I really appreciated the walk in shower as I sometimes have difficulty stepping over a tub. The only thing I was missing was an alarm clock or some kind of clock.

We checked into the property and our assigned room had an intolerable odor. The desk attendant assigned a second room. After we moved our luggage and were in the room for a brief period, we discovered the carpet was sticky with an unknown substance. Upon further inspection we found a dirty shower floor. I would not have stepped foot in the shower. The room was booked through Expedia. When we could not secure a refund through Expedia we left the property and dropped the keys at the front desk. We did not spend the night.

Clean and tide.Low quality mattress. Moving, with any change of position waking up each other. Temperature in the room got up to 74F at midnight. Maintenance was gone for the day. We figured out on our own how to turn on.

Our reservation was on the fourth floor – unfortunately I could hear everything in the room directly above my floor. It literally sounded like someone was rollerblading across the room, repeatedly for hours at 3 AM. I’ve never experienced being able to hear other guest on the above floor.

This hotel is right next to a Walmart and within walking distance from the beach. The pictures indicate you can see the beach from the hotel, this is not true. Breakfast was decent, beds were comfortable, water pressure was great. Overall, the hotel was pretty clean.

One of the elevators was broken so the one that did work was very slow. Our ocean view balcony was only ocean view if you stood up and leaned over the rail and looked left.

Staff was very friendly. We arrived early so we could go to the beach. We stopped in to see about them holding our luggage so it wasn’t sitting in the hot car. The staff member offered to check to see if our room was ready. It was ready so we were checked in 3 hours early. We’ve stayed at this location before and enjoy the convenience of location. Didn’t bother us that they’re doing some renovations as it will be nicer when we return.

I asked for my room to be cleaned but that didn't happen. Staff was not willing to provide towels. I had to go to the front desk and complain. She told me the have a every other day cleaning unless you ask which I did. We went to dinner and came back the room was somewhat clean. I

We booked and prepaid our reservation. We got to the hotel and stafd was rude. Not only were they out of power but did not notify us or gave us refund! I disputed this with Expedia and they said that hotel manager refused to refund even though THE HOTEL was the one who canceled due to no power! Dont bother staying here! Rude and unprofessional.

1) Staff was rude.2) shower floors were very slippery, reported to staff who couldn't have cared less, 3) staff didn't extend our stay as requested, they required us to return to the property to verify information they already had, interrupting our vacation, 4) pillows were terrible(requested 2 extra pillows, staff didn't bring to our room, I had to go back downstairs to request a 2nd time. We will never return to this property and will encourage family/friends to stay elsewhere!!

The hotel stay was decent. I booked 2 queens and only got 1 king. They also charge for parking. However, the customer service agent I spoke to about a billing issue was unbelievably rude. I was double charged and he acted like it was such an inconvenience to help me out or send me a copy of my portfolio. I could basically hear him rolling his eyes at me and he was so condescending. I definitely will not stay here again, just based on the lack of customer service.

The staff weren’t lively, hard to understand, and when I asked about early check in, they said an hour which was fine. Came back an hour and they said now it would be another 2-3 hours. Then, after arguing about it for 20 minutes, magically a room appeared they could get us into. They then said they waived the early check in fee which was nice but also the lady that told us an hour never said there was a fee to begin with. If the guy, can’t remember his name for the life of me because honestly didn’t care to, had looked at the rooms first before actually saying there was nothing, that’s one thing. But, nope. Just very unhelpful, not very kind, argumentative. Secondly, breakfast kind of sucked. Not a very good spread. Hamptons normally have a great food spread, my family exclusively used Hampton or Hilton for 15 plus years. Potatoes were gross. Chicken sausage was a patty and was dry. No bacon. No sausage links. No biscuits. Pastries were dry. Just not good.

My stay at this hotel was ok. It is obviously an older hotel, so it had some smells to it and the rooms need some updating, but ehat made it great, was its location as it is walking distance from the beach and the breakfast was AMAZING!! Those to things makes it easy to forget about the smells and outdatedness.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Galveston. It was conveniently located so we could get around easily and quickly. The parking was easy as well-nice to park in a garage considering the summer heat. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom. There was lots of counter space and also shelves to store toiletries, etc. We had a balcony with a view of the beach and could take a short walk to get there. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

So the property is a 4.2 of 5 at best. The water pressure for the sink and shower was doable at best. The continental breakfast was meek and cheap., dont get your hopes up. Coffee was hot. At 2 am in the morning the people above us started banging and stomping. That lasted for about an hour from what I could tell as they were taking showers. Asked for a late checkout due to us being unsure if we were staying another day for our softball tournament, we got an extra hour, tbh i was hoping for 1pm. Btw they dont tell you that parking is $15 per night thats not included in their stay prices. For the included price i could have booked a nicer hotel. Next time i will know the difference and will. The parking fee is a money grab, theyvarent that busy. I couls ubderstand if they were actually on the seawall.

The room I was in was muggy. Had the wet air feeling. The sheets felt damp. The drain in the shower had sand around it from someone else. The breakfast is VERY limited. We had to go elsewhere for it. Will not be back!

The room was very clean, bed was comfy and the a/c worked great! Breakfast was also great however, the dining room should have someone monitoring the tables to clean them as people leave the tables. We had to wipe our table clean before breakfast. Also not happy about having to pay for parking $15.

Our stay here was great! the property was clean and the breakfast was great also. The parking in the garage was small and not many spots. We had to park outside behind the garage. I did feel my vehicle was still safe as it was still on there property just not in the garage. I'll definitely go back!
