The hotel was great. Our room had a great view of the Ocean. The only complaint was that the hotel did not have EV charging, and the charging at a sister property was inoperable.

The updates are really nice. Everything was clean, nice and the view is really good. We didn't go to the restaurant/bar but it was packed and looked really nice. Mattress was one of the best we have ever slept on too. Be careful around the pool/hot tub and then the entries to the rooms though. They are super slick when wet with or without shoes.

This place is awesome! The room with the fireplace and walk in shower is great. The sauna and hot tub are separate from the pool, so there are fewer little kids in that space. So cool. We loved all of it!

This was absolutely the best mini vacation our family took. Live band that you can see and hear from balcony. Resteraunt & bar inside with a family friendly environment. Good music and vibe. Friendly staff; went above and beyhond. Garage, swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub. Beach view**Hands down..this is our jam and will be going yearly.

Beds, pillows, pool, gym are an A+. Boho renovated style throughout was delightful. Restaurant was delicious with smaller portions and prices to match. Location off beach was perfect. Music in main building/restaurant was a bit too clubbing for 24/7.

Upon arriving, the staff were immediately friendly and welcoming. They were quick to help us check in and gave our toddler a welcome kit with sand castle toys, bucket, sunglasses, and coloring book. The hotel itself is well kept and modern. The bar looks like a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. Parking was easy. The room was clean and spacious, perfect views of the ocean. The robes were luxurious and shower had good water pressure. The pool was heated, although I wouldn't mind it being a couple degrees warmer. The hot tub / spa was large enough to not bother other people. The only think we didn't love was the restaurant. The service was slow, small portions, and not the most flavorful food. We honestly can't wait to stay here again in the summer!

Great view and location! Other than this: GARBAGE! Our room stunk, it was dirty, no soap. Just a pit. I realize that they are in the middle of a remodel, but seriously? STAY AWAY UNTIL THE REMODEL IS COMPLETE!

Everything was great but I found dog food and different debris- hair, sand etc. on floor/carpet as we entered. Just felt like for the money we spent on the place that it should have been swept/vacuumed better between guests.

The lobby bar is a lively place to enjoy a cocktail. Good vibes. The covered outdoor space with fire pit was really nice considering it was a rainy weekend. The room was really spacious, sparkling clean, with great beach views.

Great location. Hotel is nicely remodeled. Beds were comfortable. Ocean view balcony was great. The hot tub and sauna room are nice and peaceful when kids aren’t present. Our Room wasn’t ready until 5pm but the hotel offered us a concession which we appreciated. Our only issue was the family staying next to us was super loud. The walls are a bit thin on the rooms that can be adjoining. They had two dogs that barked at every slight sound, all night long. Made an otherwise beautiful stay much less peaceful. Not exactly the hotels fault. Overall a nice stay besides the loud neighbors next door.

Wow, what a nice place to stay!!! This was the nicest hotel of our entire trip. The room was huge, luxurious, and well appointed. Although it was a little chilly in December, we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean. Parking was in a pristine, well lit area underneath the building. Good location, cute town. And staying in the off-season was less expensive, enabling us to enjoy a hotel like this.

The room and view were fabulous. Newly remodeled, and it’s beautiful. The parking lot is too small and it was difficult to find a parking spot. I’m guessing that will get better when remodeling is completed. The only real negative was the size of the balcony. It’s so tiny and the furniture is too big for the space. Nice place overall.

Everything was great. We even got an ocean view. Only thing was is that a camper pulled up and block our view and started partying and then making out. Couldn’t enjoy the view. We were even given binoculars

Nice property. We did request a different room because the staff outside our room was loud ( supply room directly across from our room). Got a different room the next day, only to have to do an emergency evacuation at 1am. Fire department showed up while we all stood out in the parking lot. Not hotel’s fault & they reimbursed us for that night. Very nice lady at front desk, wonderful restaurant. Very nice staff.

Hubby and I stayed 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. We stayed in a classic King, dog friendly room. It included a comfortable bed & 6 pillows, a beautifully updated room, small but adequate balcony with an ocean view & table with 2 chairs. It is across the street from a beautiful beach, was dog friendly (goody bag for our pup in the room when we arrived), has a hotel size fridge, table & 2 chairs in our room (with binoculars for scanning the ocean), microwave to heat up our leftover pizza, modern shower, lighted make up mirror, hair dryer. The Allred is close enough to walk to the Nye Beach shops & restaurants (two blocks away) and even up to the Main Street to get ice cream it was fun to explore around the area & hotel had plenty of parking. The bathroom was a bit small but adequate and our tv had a problem with a cable in back. We called the front desk and they immediately sent a maintenance man to come fix it. Staff were all friendly to us. Would definitely go again! We had such a relaxing 3 days, it is worth the price to stay at Allred.

We were absolutely blown away at this “motel” that definitely gives upscale hotel vibes! First, they called ahead of time to welcome us and thank us for booking and asked if we had anything we were celebrating or needing accommodations for. I let them know we were celebrating my daughters birthday and graduation and they said they would have sparkling cider waiting for us (they didn’t, but they did have a cute little treat basket which we Said was for her so she was happy). We did also have an issue with our tv not working, but they came quickly to fix it and when they couldn’t they gave us a new one. The hotel is also dog friendly for anyone traveling with a dog. We had a gorgeous view from the 3rd floor, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, the service was wonderful and the only downside for us is we only stayed one night. At checkout they even gave us a bag with waters and taffy for our drive. Overall wonderful experience and hope that we will be able to be back again someday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Newport (which was such a great city).

Upon arrival the elevator was not working, as they said they were cleaning them. However, there was no sign posted on the elevator doors to notify people waiting in the parking garage. After waiting 15 minutes, I walked around to the lobby to tell them, as a person traveling with us recently had knee surgery and needed the elevator. We even confirmed there was an elevator due to her current medical situation. When I told the front desk personnel, she literally shrugged and smirked at me. Then another female employee came over and told her that the elevator had been closed. I felt that the evening front desk personnel were rude and unprofessional. I have never had a hotel staff be that nonchalant and not even try to help the customer. The morning front desk personnel were very friendly. Also, if you want a hotel with air conditioning, then this one is not for you. There is no air conditioning and they told us at the front desk to open our windows, which do not have screens on them to prevent bugs from coming in. The positives were a clean hotel and location near water.

Everyone that worked at the property was so friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best time. There were complimentary snacks, tea, and coffee in the room and everything was clean and well-maintained. They even gifted each of my kids a sand bucket/shovel and a beach ball when we checked in. The property was quiet and a short walk to the beach! We will definitely return.

The room and view were both amazing and only outdone by the friendliness of the staff. We very much enjoyed the staff interaction with our dog Frankie. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was lovely to have the outdoor fire pits as well as the indoor fireplace.

Upon arriving, the staff were immediately friendly and welcoming. They were quick to help us check in and gave our toddler a welcome kit with sand castle toys, bucket, sunglasses, and coloring book. The hotel itself is well kept and modern. The bar looks like a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. Parking was easy. The room was clean and spacious, perfect views of the ocean. The robes were luxurious and shower had good water pressure. The pool was heated, although I wouldn't mind it being a couple degrees warmer. The hot tub / spa was large enough to not bother other people. The only think we didn't love was the restaurant. The service was slow, small portions, and not the most flavorful food. We honestly can't wait to stay here again in the summer!

We loved being able to see the Pacific from our balcony and the close proximity to shops and restaurants was a bonus. We walked to the expansive beach and to the Nye Beach downtown. Our primary purpose was to attend the Seafood and Wine Festival- shuttle bus was a nice perk.

The property was very nice and clean. Room was very quiet and comfortable. While the hotel was beachfront it wasn’t on the beach. We assumed incorrectly that it was so were a little surprised when checking in. It was only a short walk to the beach, which was fine. We loved being able to walk to the shops and restin Nye Beach.

It is a nice hotel by the beach. The view of the beach from our room balcony was my favorite. They prepared a welcome snacks for us. The hotel has plenty of parking and walkable to dining areas. Will definitely recommend.

The view was great, the location, perfect. It is more like a motel in that it has doors opening outside, but they make it feel more like a hotel with a lot of extras. The coffee maker was a nice larger and newer Keurig, they put a pair of binoculars on the table for your use while there, and the sink, shower, etc. were all newer. There is a fridge and microwave and a bigger safe (laptops fit). I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The Ocean view was stunning! We loved this stay and plan to come back for a visit. The Bytes and Bar in the lobby was incredible. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

Don’t expect to find any parking if you check in late. We parked in the street and had to repark in the middle of the night. Lots of homeless around so gotta watch your stuff. Sucks they don’t have room service in the morning when you just want some breakfast

Staying at the Allred Hotel was an incredible experience. I have been staying at the Oregon coast for 20 years and this was an exceptional experience. The hotel is very well laid out and is decorated wonderfully. The food at the restaurant was exceptional and the service excellent. We will be staying again. A special note to all the staff who were friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

Very nice property recently remodeled. breakfast is a-la cart, the portions are small but delicious and very reasonably priced. Trolls corner wheelutions your dog paws. Room Internet is just okay it dropped a few times when I was using it for work.

The ocean view alone was worth it super close to a walkable beach and the ocean waves waking us up and sending us to sleep. Jacuzzi tub super clean little traffic and very warm . Great places to see in the local area along the coastline. Food and bites a little expensive but tasted great and in a nice bar and seating area with a view of the ocean.

Amazing restaurant making it too easy to never stir from the hotel. Kind staff, albeit clueless on how to descale in-room coffee machines, making it necessary to get dressed and go to the lobby coffee stand where coffee is not free. Fireplace in room was wonderful. Huge room, too. Underground parking was terrific. They have made the effort to blend first class hospitality with modernity. Top class!

Stayed one night as we made our way down to California. I read the reviews prior to booking, and went in with high expectations. This place did not disappoint. It lived up to all the positive reviews. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful at both check in and out. Despite being in a pet friendly room, it was clean and fresh. The views of the ocean and sunset from our room was breathtaking. Access to the beach was easy and convenient. We decided to have a late dinner at the hotel restaurant which had a swanky vibe. Staff was so friendly, the food was delicious and very affordable! Eat here! We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel- part of the Hallmark chain. Room was lovely and ocean front. Comfortable bed. My main issue was the staff. I booked 3rd party day of. I was in and out of cell service and the staff left an important voicemail that I pulled over on the side of the road to return. They wanted to know my dog’s names (why is this important before I get there?) and were pressing me to confirm every detail I just booked. It was a non-refundable booking being so last minute, and even if they are “just checking” it would do nothing. It was a waste of time and the person on the phone was obviously irritated when I asked why she needed to call me when I was about to be there and could deal with this in person. A different person checked me in and basically just handed me my keys and a map. No other explanation. I’d stay here agin for the hotel itself, but please work on training your staff:
