Pro’s-spacious room, bed comfy. Cons-carpet was so dirty, shower with little pressure and shower head so dirty and dripping, one working elevator, breakfast was very limited. Our car was broken into in the front of the parking lot. Staff on duty was less than helpful and said to call a manager later. We had nothing of value in the car but the staff said they had frequent break ins with people looking for guns. If they are aware of this issue, why not have some sort of security walk the lot for customers safety?? This was in a nicer part of the city so very disappointing. Very disappointing and helpful customer service would have gone a long way. I would steer clear since they know it’s an issue and no nothing to assist their customers.

Great value for the price—excellent free breakfast. The fitness center is pretty sparse and could stand some attention and a few more machines (upright bike, weight machines), but it’d need to be made larger.

Only issue was the elevator was not functioning. Had to climb stairs to the 3rd floor while dealing with a meniscus tear. Eventually the elevator was fixed. Front desk clerk was very polite and provided excellent customer service.

My kids were looking forward to swimming and the pool was all green and not ready. It was a real bummer

Although the staff was extremely friendly The property was not kept up. When you walk in the front, it appeared clean, but an overwhelming smell of constant room spray was was being sprayed in the air, which was very strong and pungent. When it wasn’t so noticeable, you could smell the must in the air. One elevator did not work, and we had been told by staff that it had been out for quite a while, so it made it very hard and slow to go up and down the elevator. The room was extremely dirty. Hair all over the floor, even found hair in one of the beds when we pulled back the sheets. Had to buy Lysol wipes to clean the ceramic part of the floor because feet were constantly turning black also had to wear socks every time you were in the room.

The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. I was put in a room on the fourth floor. There was a problem with hot water and I could not shower when I wanted to. The staff said as peak hours when most people shower they run out of hot water. That was not very helpful. I had to wait two hours for the water to warm up and even then I just had one minute showers before the water went cold again. I would not stay there again.

Truck got broken into the first night we stayed. After talking to other people in the area that hotel is hit pretty often.

Nice stay, our suite was roomy and perfect for our needs. Used the business center multiple times without any issues. Nice and helpful staff.

This property is unsafe, 10 cars were broken into the night we stayed there. The hotel apparently told guests they had no access to the footage from the cameras in the parking lot. I also found pubic hair all around the floor especially surrounding the toilet as well as on the shower rubber mat.

Dirty towels from previous guest on closet floor and wet. Used takeout containers in the cabinet. Wet mildew scent on the first floor. Only redeeming quality was a hot shower.

The room was not cleaned properly. It was not completly vacuumed, there was a bug and some hair on the bed, plus it smelled like mold.

The pictures are not updated at all. When we woke up my husband thought he saw a roach but when I looked it was bed bug! I pray we didn't bring any home with us. The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned. The sheets were rolled up on the bed. I didn't even look at the rest of the room. Only one elevator worked if that what you wanna call it. It felt like it was going to fall every time we used it. It says on the wall its a non smoking hotel. My room smelled like cigarettes bad! The only thing good was the man that checked us in. He was cool.

The room was not cleaned properly. On the side of one of the beds There was vomit on side of bed, a cup with tobacco chew and fast food soda on the floor. I did get another room but this time the sheet had blood stains and the toilet would not flush and ran all night. It was a terrible experience!

The guy at the front was courteous and helpful. The room was nice and appeared clean and tidy but there were some nail clippings, food, dirt, etc., behind the nightstand that I could easily see (if i can see, so can the cleaner...) when inspecting for bedbugs. I make it a habit of checking the bedding and furniture for critters before settling in because I have had a previous bad experience. I immediately found evidence of bed bugs on both beds. One had newer eggs under/behind the pillow and the other under the bed skirt. It APPEARED to be an early infestation, due to the bug stage and lack of stains on the actual mattress. As we were pulling the skirting back to get a better look at an egg, we disturbed it and a bug that ran up the side of the mattress. We immediately left, alerted the front desk agent, who immediately contacted management. Hopefully they care enough to handle it, so as not to spread them to others. The agent was courteous, understanding, and helpful in getting our room refunded. I am sure all hotels deal with this and overall, the agent was a 5, appearance was a 5 and the refund process with Hotels.com was smooth. I just hope it gets resolved. You have to stay on top of that. My only regret is not killing the bug for them because they can be hard to locate and bring out of hiding. We were lucky enough to get a pic because it was slow and obviously hadn't eaten much lately. It won't let me upload the video. Hate to bad review but had to mention it!

The attendant at the front desk was dressed like she just rolled out of bed (fine, since we arrived at 10pm). But she got a bit snippy with me when I was trying to use the the card reader. She thought I wasn’t following instructions but it turned out the problem was on her end. She apologized. We (hubby, kids and I) made it up to the room, which was a nice size. The carpet all around needs a good cleaning. There wasn’t debris on the floor so it’s evident that they vacuumed but it visibly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The bathroom unfortunately was the biggest concern. I noticed as I was changing for bed, that the base of the toilet had dried pee with curly hair stuck to it (I took pictures). The base of the tub was neglected too. It was a poor cleaning job. I did show the desk attendant the pics the next day and she was so unconcerned. Breakfast (according to my 8, 12 and 14yr old) was not good. They all said the waffle batter is as cheap and watered down as it gets. The waffles didn’t taste good. I totally expected that but my poor kids were shocked. I will say, the beds were comfortable! So they have that going for them. Glad it was only for a night. I didn’t have super high expectations (after all, it’s a Comfort Inn), but reviews were decent and it was only for one night (overpriced but cheaper than other hotels nearby). I WILL NOT be back to another one. I’ll pay the extra to stay where it’s clean and we’d be comfortable.

Our room had a musty smell to it. Beds were not very comfortable.

The room wasn't that clean. I found a long hair between the soap packets in the bathroom. The were some questionable little stains on the sheets, duvet, and towels. There was part of a boot print on the rubber nonslip mat for the tub. The rooms are definitely not soundproofed. I could hear people talking loudly whenever they were in the hallway. The housekeeping staff goes around chatting very loudly before it's even 8:30 am. One morning, I heard a dog barking from 5 am to 6 am. The breakfast is decent. I enjoyed the waffles.

Beds are uncomfortable .

Other than a few inconvenient things I'll list below, the location was good and the building was well maintained. Check in was a little slow due to the group reservation checking in ahead of me and only one employee on duty. I must say I spotted a roach on the wall when I woke up Saturday morning as well as a few tiny little bugs at other times. And I found the shower lacking in water pressure. The tv cable also had glitches that made it impossible to see some main channels.

It was a peaceful stay, comfortable beds, plenty of shops around the hotel, easy access to other places, clean location, friendly and attentive staff, and breakfast is available in the morning. The only bad thing was that the room smelled strongly of humidity, and the air conditioning didn't remove the humidity from the room even when using the dry mode. I would recommend checking and servicing the air conditioning, or installing a new air conditioning unit or a dehumidifier.

Hotel room feels old and outdated. The bed was sunken in the middle, could feel springs and frame of the mattress. The pillows were small and old. The towels were rough texture. Everything just felt old in the room. At 11pm night, kids were playing in the hallway and being loud.

Pros- clean comfortable an the air was nice an cool Cons- was no hot water in shower ( possibly just an isolated issue) tv guide was poor very few quality options without having to use sign on services. Internet stalls after 15 mbs without registering to a hotel rewards account. Breakfast was mediocre, plain scrambled eggs an sausage links an make yourself waffles was the hot food menu. Overall wouldn’t stay again but it was comfortable.

The hotel was tucked away in an area that made for a quiet stay. The rooms were spacious and many have been/are being renovated for a more comfortable stay.

Overall good hotel, location is perfect everything is near the hotel. The only thing is the beds and the bed sheets, beds are hard and blankets aren’t comfortable and cleaning is bad.

Everything was great. Walls a bit thin so can hear people walking on hallways but besides that no complains.

After driving for 5 hours after a day at work, we were excited to finally find the hotel and go to sleep. I called the hotel around 930 pm multiple times to alert of a late check in and no one answered. When we entered, there was no one at the desk and a sign that said they had stepped away and to please press the call button for assistance. I first pressed the button at 10:30pm. At 10:55 when still no one had come after multiple button presses and another patron entering also wanting to check in, I called the corporate number. The corporate person told me he would call their “emergency phone”. 5 minutes later a guy walks around the corner, acts and talks like he is on illicit substances. He then asked me “what do you want?”. I told him I had been waiting for 30 minutes and need to check in. I told him that I had pushed the button multiple times, and his response “well it’s obvious that it’s broken”. Then he starts saying he has 400 people to take care of at the hotel (there were only 15 cars in the parking lot) and that he had been busy for the last hour helping a woman get out of her wheelchair?!? Huh?!? Then when I asked him to please just check me in instead of making excuses he walked off and said I was being rude so he wasn’t going to check me in. This is after I had been standing in the lobby now for 45 min. It was now past 11:15 pm. No more choice hotels for me.

Freeway was shut down and never made it to hotel. I tried several contact numbers and there absolutely no way to get ahold of the hotel and speak to a live person to cancel. I sent email through hotel.com and nothing. Waste of money. I have used this app forever and I will ever use it again.

Our first 2 nights were good; however, the last night had a couple of little league clubs staying. Kids running up and down the halls, loud music, throwing balls in the hallway…all while parents watched. The front desk said, “Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. I can’t do anything about it until then.” Totally unacceptable.

The property was as advertised. Clean, big room, and staff was great. First problem was one of the elevators was broken. Then someone got stuck in the working elevator. But we understand things happen. Elevators eventually did work over the next couple of days. Another issue was no one cleaned our room over our 3 night stay. It was a busy weekend (Labor Day) but come on man. Overall a pretty good weekend getaway. Everyone had a great time and for the price and size of room very enjoyable.

Just to check inn it was a pain, we came a little bit early and ask if my toddlers could use the restroom and they told my “ no” theirs a couple of restaurants nearby so you take them their! Ok so we left came back at 5:00 pm and it took them 30 minutes just to show up at the front desk !! Their excuse was I was making coffee

Felt like a $50 hotel that costs $150, smelled musty. Front staff confirmed my late check out and wrote a note in my account for the following morning. Next morning they rudely told me I had to check out at 11 and there was no note on my account.

Although it was a bit difficult to find the first time, it is at the intersection of US 281 and Loop 1604 behind HEB.

It was a perfect location to our function and shopping.

Staff was very nice and attending. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Close to mall and walking distance to shopping and movie. Will stay again if come to San Antonio for visiting next time.

A very good located hotel in the north part of San Antonio, within a shopping and dining area. and in the intersection of two highways. About 20 minutes away from Downtown, La Calera, North Star Mall and a 50-minute drive to San Marcos Outlets.

There are so many options for dining & shopping around there.

Property was difficult to get to; even GPS had difficulty.

Secure and friendly service, it’s in an area that is quiet but around anywhere you want to go

Great place to stay good breakfast and good customer service

Water pressure in the shower was way too low and the water temperature was warm, not hot. Made showering a frustrating experience versus soothing on sore muscles. Hallway carpets are disgusting. Seems like cost cutting was taken a step too far. Fifty percent of the time the desk person has stepped away and you have to ring for them and wait.

The breakfast was good the rooms were clean.

Perfect place close to everything within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants and more. Was so pleased with my room and the friendly staff. The free breakfast was nice! Waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, milk and juice. Highly recommend!! This is definitely my go to spot next time I'm in the area!

Great spot to post up in San Antonio. Affordable and well maintained. Breakfast was a bit on the bland side, but better than others I have had. Staff was helpful and flexible with us.

Nice hotel, people in the hall way are loud when they are going to their rooms, being woken up at 2 in the morning because of people going to their room is not the hotel’s fault, it’s just selfish people not being considerate of others,. Overall hotel was good, eggs and sausages every morning for breakfast. Good hotel
