Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Also, the breakfast was very good too. We stayed four nights and would definitely stay there again. Very reasonable and not too far from the River Walk, but couldn't walk to it, had to drive.

We stayed Aug 15th 2025 room 208. To start the hallway and the room smelled my wife had to spray her perfume. Then we found food in the refrigerator. Then we noticed in one side of the bed the carpet was black and sticky. Then we found ants on the other side of the bed on the wall and night stand. We found a lighter and beer top and a soda bottle under the bed. The comforter and pillows were dirty we called and had those replaced. We went to go to the hot tubbthe clerk said let me show you there's some chemicals on one side the other side is OK so my grandson got in on the side the clerk said he got blue sicky stuff all over the back of swimnsuut he just got for his birthday this was his first time to wear it. We showed the clerk he looked at me and said we don't know how to fix

Inside atrium pool and hot tub is clean and working and fabulous. Our room is clean and nice. We arrived early and were able to check in— check in guy was wonderful. Overnight check in guy was abrupt. We have two beds and we sleep cold. I asked for two extra blankets and he was adamant at only giving one — I guess I’ll sleep cold tonight since I will give my kids the one extra blanket. Cash only for little store in lobby if you need toiletries or a snack. Overall our stay is great and will return.

My friend and I celebrated her birthday there in San Antonio. 1. Check in was at 3, they didn't let us in till 4:30 after we drove for 3 hours. 2. My friend woke me up at 3:45am to tell me there was a bed bug on her. We packed up, went down stairs to get another room. We waited for 20 minutes and no one showed up so had to leave a d drive at 4:30am back home. 3. We put the dead bed bug on a napkin and left it in their drop box along with the key card, yet they denied there were any bugs in the room.

There were some roaches in my daughter's room as well as in the breakfast area. The desk chair in my room caused me injury as the back support on the chair was broken and I nearly threw out my back. That chair needs to go in the trash. We've stayed here before and had no trouble. Hopefully they will fix these issues.

Check in was quick and easy. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was tasty and hot. We loved the pool jacuzzi and the lovely plant life surrounding. Monday morning we checked out and the halls and lobby had pleasant music playing. It was an absolute pleasant stay for us. The hotel staff did an amazing job keeping the premises super clean. Will stay again!

Although the room was clean an check in went ok the beds are very uncomfortable. It made getting rest difficult. Music playing in the hallway when your trying to rest not ideal either. The tv remote wasn’t easy to use at times. The ac was definitely different in the room an didn’t care for it much either. It was also pretty noisy from the people in the pool area to the people next door to us at the hotel. Breakfast was in the middle rating really. My key card also quit working the morning we were scheduled to check out but we hadn’t even left yet an still needed to get in an out of the room. So we had to pack everything up take it to the car an then go eat breakfast. Altogether our stay here unfortunately was just not a good experience and disappointing.

The rooms was clean. Definitely not a 5 star or fabulous spot. Complimentary breafast was adequate for our needs. Rooms are smaller, specifically restroom/sink area, seem cramped. However the reoms were clean. Now for the downfall, the rooms have exterior patio doors/windows that need to be updated. We could hear an extreme amount of outside noise, especially located off a busy highway. We could hear almost every car on the road which made it very difficult to go to bed. The swimming pool was smaller than expected. There was little air flow in the courtyard pool area. Next time we will be looking for an outdoor pool. Again not terrible, but probably wont be staying there again.

Our room was 85F when we walked in and it took hours to cool off. This is my 1 and only complaint. They knew we were coming, so they could of had it at least 75F for us. The room was clean, the breakfast was fine, but walking into the hot room was not fun. It did cool off by 10ish that night, but was just uncomfortable.

Heads ups! When you book a room at this motel make sure you ask if the room is facing I-35? If it is then get ready for vibration and the sounds of highway noise ALL NIGHT LONG! Similar to having the Indi Race way outside your room! I ask if we could change rooms, and we were accommodated. However, if the motel was fully booked it would have been a very long and sleepless night.

It is an older hotel that is showing its age. A time warp back to the 1980’s. However, it was very clean and appeared very well maintained. Modern paint and carpet would go a long ways. For the price I paid I expected a comfortable bed, a TV that worked properly and less noise from the hallway then what I got.

It was a beautiful hotel, only downside was it was so hot. The upstairs where we stayed had the air conditioning turned off we checked in at 6:30 and our room did not start to cool off until midnight.

The stuff here is so rude, I told him my original room is so noisy because of the ice vending machine, he told me he has been working here for 18 years, and just let me close door. This is the rudest front desk I’ve ever seen, I’ll never stay in best western again

The reason for my three star score had to do with the front and breakfast staff. The facilities (room, lobby, maintenance, cleanliness) were excellent. The cleanliness of the room and maid staff were excellent. Upon arrival, I had a minor issue with the check-in staff. There was a miscommunication between the two of us, which ended with him implying that it was my fault entirely. On checkout, another minor issue I have never encountered regarding a receipt, "We can't print it out" -- you have to go to Expedia. This has never happened before in all my reservations with Expedica. And, lo and behold, the second Expedia hotel on the trip offered to print and/or send my receipt to my email. So, there stars. The breakfast staff were unfriendly and marginally helpful, but they did keep the breakfast area clean and supplied.

We were traveling with another couple and when we checked in, we had a room but when the other couple went to their room, someone’s stuff was already in there. The attendant said they had no more rooms available, so we all had to load up all our stuff and drive 2 hours away to another hotel, because there were no more hotels in town available. It was very late at night and incredibly inconvenient

Overall all a good experience because of the friendly and help full staff and the location. Booked through a third party and was given a room on the outside perimeter where the noise from the highway was disturbing. The carpet was also stained so I notified the staff who said they would take care of it and that I wouldn't be charged. Cleanliness and service was excellent as well as the hot breakfast.

This stay way very average. The rating was very misleading as I expected the hotel facilities different. It was a very outdated looking hotel. Room had old water marks and bed sheets were clearly old and heavily used. While it was clean, it truly could not notice past how outdated everything was. Location is really good yet noisy with traffic. Parking was sufficient yet construction on highway has one entrance closed.

Staff was very nice at check in and check out. Property is a little dated but it was clean as was our room. We booked through Expedia and had no issues. There was a good variety offered for breakfast. Depending on where your room is, you may hear traffic from the highway but it wasn't enough to keep us awake. Basic toiletries provided and there was a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Pool was nice but we didn't get to swim. Would stay again.

We were just in town for a couple of days. The hotel was in a great location for us. Property was nice and well kept for the price point. Room was nice, spacious, and comfy - as was the bed. Had a good shower. The complimentary hot breakfast was pretty good. Property could be a bit dicey to get to because of traffic. A note that there is a lot of road construction in that part of San Antonio.

Good hotel for a good price, in the middle of a lot of dining and close to shopping areas. It took us 15-20 minutes to get to Schlitterbahn which was perfect for us. The breakfast was good. Our rooms a/c was so cold, we loved it! Hot water in the shower. All good things to say about this hotel, no complaints.

Beautiful scenery and love the indoor swimming pool and spa. Did not like the choice to eat breakfast in dining areas... If we like to bring our food up to our room we should have that choice to. Dining room was loud and not enough tables at the moment... front desk gentleman voice about not taking food into our rooms. Well, we witnessed homeless people walking in around the inside areas and they're not said to them. One homeless man approach my 10 yr son and I did not like it. Please address this promptly. Thank you

The reason for my three star score had to do with the front and breakfast staff. The facilities (room, lobby, maintenance, cleanliness) were excellent. The cleanliness of the room and maid staff were excellent. Upon arrival, I had a minor issue with the check-in staff. There was a miscommunication between the two of us, which ended with him implying that it was my fault entirely. On checkout, another minor issue I have never encountered regarding a receipt, "We can't print it out" -- you have to go to Expedia. This has never happened before in all my reservations with Expedica. And, lo and behold, the second Expedia hotel on the trip offered to print and/or send my receipt to my email. So, there stars. The breakfast staff were unfriendly and marginally helpful, but they did keep the breakfast area clean and supplied.
