Hotel is starting to feel old with carpets com8ng up, commercial office type carpets, additional costs not mentioned when search hotel options such as $25 night parking and other ammenities, the pool has never been open (3 stays at this hotel), no breakfast offered where all competing hotels do offer breakfast, this hotel promotes dog friendliness yet there is no area outside for dogs, parking lot is loaded with tables, chairs, garbage cans…very messy. The beds, and bedding are amazing though! The hotel staff and Storm the pup is also a nice touch.

Nice place for a short stay. Very pleasant staff. If your room is close to the main road there is a constant beeping noise from underground parking lot across the street but thankfully mostly only during the day. Very tight limited parking that costs $20 night. Clogged sink that was supposed to be fixed but didn’t happen. But otherwise clean and comfortable.

This hotel is wonderful. Quite close to the university. Staff were friendly and helpful, we borrowed a bike to go to some nearby shops. Parking was free and plentiful.

The hotel is very fun! Second time staying there and loved both stays! Only downside is no onsite fitness center but you can go up a block and use a sister hotel’s workout area. Love the staff and the bedding on the beds, as well as the provided bathrobes,

All of the Staff were excellent. The location is in walking distance of the University. The pool area was clean with towels. Be advised there are extra charges for parking and being able to use the bikes. I enjoyed my stay!

all good except I went to the Pineapple hotel a block up from my hotel and didn't realize it was the one with the work out center and not the hotel I was staying in down the street which advertised a pool but the pool was outdoor and closed - otherwise great

Staff were great but there were big issues with preparation and cleanliness. I was first assigned a room that upon entering was clearly still occupied or at the very least not cleaned. Second room was fine but must not have been checked or rented recently as the floor was covered with box elder bugs. Some alive, some dead. The bugs were also in the curtains as well.

Booking was easy, the contactless checkin was easy, the bed and linens were comfortable, and we enjoyed that the room had a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and provided us with a refillable water bottle and cookies at the front desk. We appreciated the complimentary beverages and the quietness there. The robes were cozy. The pool area was cute but the water was way too cold and there wasn’t a hot tub. Also, there was an issue with tacks sticking up on the carpet which poked us. The staff quickly worked to accommodate us and resolve the issue which was great. The parking was super easy, accessible, and affordable. Overall a very chill experience and we would definitely stay here again, especially on a budget.

University Inn is a old hotel that might have been spruced up a bit with its current owners, but it is still old. Room was fine but couch was really worn seemed dirty.

Loved the check in experience and parking; however, the room was loud! We were woken up before 8am to the cleaning staff allowing doors to slam and talking loudly in the hallway. Was really disappointing because we had our Do Not Disturb sign up so they would have known there were occupants in our room

HVAC unit is in the room. Woke us up whenever it comes on. Even when it cycles off we could hear a deep pulsing sound from elsewhere in the building, which would cycle on and off.

Close to downtown without its chaos. Great staff. Just a few blocks from Link (light rail) station, UW, Trader Joes, multiple bus lines. Close drive to Green Lake and other dining options. Rooms are comfortable with good organizing options. Bathroom is a tight squeeze, but the two sinks, one inside and the other outside of the bathroom, was very useful. This was our third stay here and we will again on our return. Hotel’s parking was always available. Only wish they had self-serve laundry.

I thought the hotel was very expensive, but maybe such prices are normal in Seattle. It has a pool, the rooms are clean and reasonably quiet except for an annoying electronic noise throughout the day, probably warning signal from a garage door across the street. The rooms are equipped with a large desk, a keurig machine, and a water bottle which one can refill with filtered water in the lobby. Wifi didn't really work in the room. Walking distance from the train station, which was a big plus. Overall, nothing special but pretty comfortable. They charge an extra fee for "amenities", which include coffee and wifi.

The beds at Pineapple hotels are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little smaller than we like and the rain shower shower head was not as promised.

The Wi-Fi is extremely slow and constantly signs you out. I had to login so many times! The pool was cold, parking was difficult, even more so after 4 PM. I didn’t have them clean my room while I was there because I was only there for a few nights so I can’t speak to the quality of the housekeeping department. The neighborhood is not so great. They charged my card more than $200 before I even arrived, even though the room was already paid for. The bathrooms are definitely dated and grim. I definitely would not stay there again.

The staff charged us more than the agreed price because I booked through Expedia. They definitely treated me worse because of this. I have booked many hotels through Expedia and this was the first overt prejudice against me for booking third party with extra cost penalties .

The hotel itself met our needs, staff were friendly, etc., however my necklace was stolen from our room while we were out for the evening. The only reason it was left out (on the desk) was because I had been trying to untangle a knot in the chain, though didn’t quite finish before we left for dinner. Can’t recommend staying here.

I had stayed at the StayPineapple on Roosevelt before and really liked it. It seems the company just acquired University Inn. It doesn’t feel like the same company yet. I mistakenly booked it thinking I was booking the original and was disappointed. Slow elevator; no one cleaned our room. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I arrived a bit early which turned out to be no problem. My room was ready and check in was a breeze. The room was clean and all the things I was looking for were there, fridge, a window that opens, a nice table and chair for my computer work. There were a couple of problems that cropped up the next morning. The shower head was so encrusted with ick that I actually had to clean it before there was enough water to take a shower. And the hair dryer did not work. It was early and there was a person at the desk who said he would get one to me. I had to leave before it arrived. I spoke with the front desk about the shower head and the hair dryer and they got it fixed by the time I got back to the room in the afternoon. Comfy bed. Clean room. Prompt repairs. Life is good

Great location and on site parking. We unfortunately had our car window smashed out while we were at a concert (car was not parked at the hotel at the time). When we returned to the hotel we explained our issue and they were kind enough to allow us to park in a loading area so the car was visible to prevent further issues. In the morning, the maintenance team vacuumed all the broken glass out of the car and even put plastic on the window so we could drive home. They went above and beyond to help us at a really low point. Check in and out was fast and easy and room was simple but clean. Would definitely stay again. They really cared about our situation and tried to make it a bit better.

Cute/quirky hotel with a mid century vibe. Comfortable, very functional room…very convenient parking..with easy access to interstate 5 for north/south travel. Portage Bay cafe right next to the hotel is a great breakfast spot. would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great staff, friendly, secure location, cookies every afternoon great coffee, bicycles they let you borrow! They even had umbrellas that you could borrow if necessary?. Would definitely stay there again! One free beverage when you check in. Token good for wine, beer, water, power drinks or snack per person.

University Inn Staypineapple was a really nice stay for the price. We needed to be at University of Washington, so the location was perfect! We loved the afternoon cookies and welcome drink along with the two European duvets. Although it was really warm, the pool was too cold to enjoy and we wish there would have been some food options. But overall a great stay and we’ll look for a Staypineapple in the future!

Customer service was great, the beds were comfy. The only thing I didn’t like was there was no breakfast on site. The link light rail station was close by and the best way to go to the stadium, pikes market, etc.
