Clarion Hotel Somerset - New Brunswick

We had a basic we had a basic room. Things were OK except the sink in the bathroom had a leak. However, the main reason I am giving this review one star is because the morning after Valentine’s Day my fiancé went to get us breakfast and returned to the room. As we were eating, he noticed that we were missing condiments for our breakfast so he decided to go downstairs to a room where he had seen food being set up as he passed when he returned from picking up our breakfast. I continue to eat about 10 minutes after I get a call from the front desk asking me to come down because my fiancé had been assaulted by one of the workers that was setting up the food as he reached for sugar packets. Sugar packets. One of the hotel staff pushed him to the ground as he was reaching for sugar packets. He called for the police who showed up rather quickly thank God. Once I got downstairs, it was told the situation I decided that we needed to leave immediately we packed up our things and left a bit before check out. I have never had a situation like this ever happened. We definitely do not recommend and we definitely will never return unless it is to press charges on that employee.

Room was stinky and dirty with dirty stained sheets and stains in the bathroom. Whole place stunk of drugs in the hallway and we left immediately

Beds were dirty liked they haven’t been clean in awhile nasty. Tv only 1 show on all channels will not go back don’t recommend this hotel

It was very clean and comfortable
