Property is excellent and has lots of foliage, hammocks, seating, friendly staff. Not loaded down with rules. Very laid back. Property well maintained. Parking lot is small and street parking is limited, so be prepared to face that in busy season.

We loved this place! It felt like an oasis! Room was clean and modern, pool and area were welcoming. Welcome drink at check in, tiki bar open late afternoons with Happy Hour specials. Quiet neighborhood, but walkable distance to the hustle and bustle of Duval and the seaport. Great bakery for breakfast nearby, several grocery/ convenience stores, the free Duval Loop bus stop was right across the street. We will be back!

This quaint hotel had very nice staff and nice facilities, including a pool, hammocks, covered tables, etc. Convenient location with short walks to the Yankee Freedom dock and nearby restaurants, and only 5-6 blocks from popular Duval Street. Would stay again.

This property is well groomed and housekeeping is immaculate it is a quaint little place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and helpful. The pool area is great and clean. Tiki Bar from 3-6 daily and pool bathroom clean and nice. Coffee and tea and lemonade in main lobby daily. Bicycles affordable to rent . Close to Duval St too . They also provide sunscreens at front desk. If you like more space definitely get porch swing room or bigger. There is a grocery store and convenience store a block from hotel .

This property was beautiful! Everything was newly renovated and clean. The pool area has been completely redone, and a tiki bar has been added. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - far enough away from hot spots to be quiet, but close enough to walk to Duval and Historic Seaport (10 minutes) (I highly recommend rented e-bikes to get around, they’re convenient and easy to operate without much exertion (Wecyle will deliver to your hotel). The rooms are small, which I read in previous reviews, so I opted for an upgraded room and had plenty of space. Remember, you’re not there to spend time in your room!

The room smelled weird and was more humid then the outside air, even with the ac on dry mode. I checked out two days early. The hotel and expedia refusing to give a refund. I tried to resolve with hotel staff and exedian without success. I use expedia alot and thinking of switching.

For being 100 years old and the oldest hotel in Key West it is well cared for and very clean. The room we had was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean. The amenities were excellent. Nice pool and hot tub area with a Tiki Bar. The onsite restaurant was great and the food and staff excellent. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to Duval Street and Mallory Square. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Awesome stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed two nights at the Eden House. It was the perfect place to stay to enjoy our first visit to Key West. We could walk everywhere and the property is well maintained and clean. The room is very small - adequate for a short stay but a longer stay would require more space.

I reserved the Queen Island room. The pictures are deceiving. The pictures of the larger rooms were amazing. My room, I was told was one of the smallest. As you enter the room, you had to walk sideways to pass the bed. You had to watch the TV from the ceiling because it was at the foot of the bed and had to clear your walk. The shower/bathroom was not a separate room. The shower door opened into the room. The toilet thankfully had a door but the sink was next to the bed. I had to use the sink as a nightstand. There was room enough to open one suitcase. The second suitcase blocked the shower, sink or small refrigerator. There was no closet. I know there was limited parking, first come first serve. We had to park 3 blocks away and we are in our 70s. The Eden house is beautiful. Just don't get the Queen Island Room.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. It is close to everything. The rooms are small but that’s normal for this area. I did not like that the hall light was on outside our room and streaming in through an above door window. We had to block it with our towels to be able to sleep. Also, the parking situation is less than ideal.

We had room 106. It was very cramped. The bed was memory foam and extremely soft. The bathroom did not have a vent. The saving grace for the hotel is the pool area. The hot tub and pool area was fantastic. Sparkling clean and perfect temps in both pools. We didn’t expect a big luxurious room. We wanted to be in a walkable area with a hot tub & pool were what we needed. The room rate was comparably high for the area. The parking is tight as well. It wasn’t a bad stay, but we won’t stay in Key West again. Just know that is the situation when you stay there. It was a cool old hotel.

The room was clean but TERRIBLY SMALL!!! We had to squeeze to get by the foot of the bed and the wall as it was So Tight!! There was NO CLOSET OR DRESSER!! NO room to hang or put clothes! There was a luggage rack but the only two places for it were by the bathroom door or shower door, which prevented either one from opening fully. NO SPARE SPACE!!! There was a mini fridge and microwave. The pool and hot tub looked well-maintained. The front desk people were very friendly. Oh-----on our first night, the smoke alarm battery died and I had to climb on the bed to take out the battery. And the BED!!! HORRIBLE!!!! The bed had a plank of wood running down the middle, from head to foot, under the bed. This caused it to be Higher in and middle so we were always sliding toward the edge of the bed. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!! And the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed---not so "fitted"!! We were there for a week and we thought it was very pricey ($3k !!) for what we got. We will Not be back. And parking...virtually non-existent...just a few spots for guests and most street parking is Residents Only. We were fortunate enough to get a covered spot (of which there only a few) on our second day and we just walked everywhere from there. We purchased a two-day trolley pass to see things that were too far to walk to. I highly recommend that! The drivers had lots of great information!

Beautiful place to stay. Very cozy room. Close to everything. Plenty of transportation options for those times we didn’t want to walk. Great pool. Bed/pillows were extra soft (not my thing) and the hot water took quite some time to warm up but we decided to stay an extra night anyway.

Wonderful staff and great location. However, bed was super uncomfortable and noisy. Also, AC unit was very loud. Glass above entry door made the room too bright at night from the hallway light. Bathroom very tight, husband being 6 foot 5 could not close door until he sat down, and barely then, door too close. Unfortunately did not meet our expectations.

We had a good stay at Eden House, I was a little disappointed with the room (king porch swing) It was much smaller then what the website presented it to be. The king bed was a queen and the bathroom was small and housekeeping was a little skimpy on towels and filling shower supplies. I feel I could find a nicer stay for the price we paid.

We were greeted by a disengaged and snide desk clerk. She put us in the worst room with barely a window and when I remarked that it was dark she turned on another light and basically shrugged off my concern. It was way overpriced for what it was. Not good value.

I can not speak highly enough of Eden House. the location from airport to main part of the town to places to eat is great. uber shows up within minutes. The room was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. Pool area was so nice, easy to spend a day or night down there just relaxing. The staff was wonderful, Gemma was so kind and friendly and even gave great advice on where to go and when to come back for next stay. If you are looking for a nice quite place, with good chill vibes this is the perfect place to lay your head.

Jocelyn greeted us when we arrived. We were early and our room wasn't ready yet. She stored our luggage and said she would call us back when it was ready which she did. She was very pleasant and helpful. We loved our room. It was beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great friendly customer service along with a great room that's what I call a wonderful stay!!! Highly recommend.

The front desk accidentally gave our room to someone else. So they kept us waiting in the lobby for 40 minutes while they figured it out. We missed our dinner reservation as a result. We only had one night in key west, so this was very inconvenient. Careful in the stairs if you are taller than 5 ft.

Staff was great. Location was good. Short walk to Duvall street. We were there for my wife’s birthday. Our friend asked the front desk to get us some cupcakes. They brought us cupcakes a balloon and a bottle of wine. We will definitely stay again

This property was beautiful! Everything was newly renovated and clean. The pool area has been completely redone, and a tiki bar has been added. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - far enough away from hot spots to be quiet, but close enough to walk to Duval and Historic Seaport (10 minutes) (I highly recommend rented e-bikes to get around, they’re convenient and easy to operate without much exertion (Wecyle will deliver to your hotel). The rooms are small, which I read in previous reviews, so I opted for an upgraded room and had plenty of space. Remember, you’re not there to spend time in your room!

Great place to stay in easy walking distance to restaurants and Duval St. pool area really nice and relaxing, we had pooch room which was near back so less people walking pass room. Room lovely but small if have two large suitcases. Had bar 3 - 6 pm. Pool open 24/7 if you quiet. There was a Duval loop bus stop opposite which is a great way to see area. We were luckily all the guest quiet and consider could get noisy if loud people about as all room towards pool. Highly recommend staff great what stay again.

The hotel was very close to where the ferry comes in and out of. The hotel staff was amazing, they were so helpful and friendly. It is a few blocks away from Duvall, so it was quiet.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Duval St and other tourist areas. Very quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly and polite, as well as very attentive. The only drawback was the room was very small and the air conditioning was very noisy.

Awesome location, staff and amenities! We had an amazing stay. The staff made it over the top perfect! The room was comfortable, parking easy and there is a Duval Loop bus stop right out front! Would highly recommend and plan to stay here again in the future!

This was my first trip to Key West and the Eden House helped make it very nice! The retro look and friendly staff were amazing. The parking situation was not ideal but that is prevalent in Key West. Other than having longer Tiki bar hours the place was great! I will not hesitate to stay there again.

This is an adorable spot. I learned it’s celebrating its 100th birthday and is oldest functioning hotel n key west but you wouldn’t know it. The space is gorgeous. The room opens onto a beautiful courtyard with pool/jacuzzi and small bar. Mindy at the bar is super friendly. One of our new favs in key west for sure!

I liked that the pool was 24 hours and pretty quiet for the most part. It’s unfortunate that the bar near the pool closes at 6pm which seems unreasonable. The room was pretty good the only complaints I have are that there was a broken part of the blinds on the exterior door which eliminates some of my privacy. Additionally, the interior door didn’t close fully which made me feel unsafe as there was a gap between the door and the frame. It’s very walkable however and I was able to explore duval and mallory on foot. I would stay again for 1 to 2 nights max it seems to be a very chill spot for people looking to stay in during a key west trip. Definitely not for younger travelers looking for a party as the property has very strict noise complaint rules and a lowkey atmosphere. If you do stay here make sure to hit up the Old Town Bakery which is a 3 minute walk away for breakfast because the adjacent restaurant named Azur has outrageous prices and snobby food. Also the parking here is not ideal so if you stay make sure you leave the car parked at the hotel the entire time or else you might not have parking at night. Overall I would say it’s a cute and convenient spot for a short relaxing stay if that’s what you’re looking for.

We loved this place! It felt like an oasis! Room was clean and modern, pool and area were welcoming. Welcome drink at check in, tiki bar open late afternoons with Happy Hour specials. Quiet neighborhood, but walkable distance to the hustle and bustle of Duval and the seaport. Great bakery for breakfast nearby, several grocery/ convenience stores, the free Duval Loop bus stop was right across the street. We will be back!

Its a very nice property. Pool lovely. Great that theres a locker in lobby to store luggage. Only 2 neg points: 1. Dont stay in rm 104. Thr frogs croak all night long even over air conditioner and fan. They're right outside room in fountain. 2. The pool bar is out rageous. 2 double shot of Jack Daniels was $61. Wouldn't do that again. Bring your own booze. In general would stay again not in 104 or probably not 105.

This property is well groomed and housekeeping is immaculate it is a quaint little place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and helpful. The pool area is great and clean. Tiki Bar from 3-6 daily and pool bathroom clean and nice. Coffee and tea and lemonade in main lobby daily. Bicycles affordable to rent . Close to Duval St too . They also provide sunscreens at front desk. If you like more space definitely get porch swing room or bigger. There is a grocery store and convenience store a block from hotel .

Loved the key west aesthetic that managed to feel like you were staying in a home vs a hotel. The outdoor pool was very clean and the bar drinks were good. Huge bonus that they let you use the pool and hot tub 24 hours a day. We needed a cell phone delivered and the staff was super helpful and on top of making sure it got to us. Location is perfect; on a pretty street very close to everything including beaches and all the bars. I would definitely stay here again.
