The property was not clean. Pool was closed. Our room was filthy. Blood was on the curtain. The bathroom toilet had feces and urine on it. The floor was dirty and it smelled of mildew.I only one of the two nights because we couldn't find another room at that time. The only nice thing was the front desk clerk.

The electricity in half the room did not work. The side doors they had in the hotel, did not work for your room key, so you had to walk out the front door. I didn't really like the hotel but I'm thankful it was affordable for me to stay in for a few days

Me and my family went on vacation for a night and I’m just saying but thank god it was just one night. We went to get away and the hotel room was disgusting it was hair every where in the tub and all over the floors stains on the comforter. The pool was closed and the gate look like someone ran into it. The lady at the front desk wasn’t the best could been better while checking in. They also had a fee of $150 and the person in my family who picked the hotel didn’t read comments. Only good thing about it was it was right nexts to food. Everything else wasn’t that good. The AC unit in the room was leaking and to much wrong with the room for us. Not enough pillows blankets or anything in the room only was allowed 2 towels for 4 people. We tried get more towels they said we couldn’t cause they didn’t have extra. The wash cloths look like they been used to clean not for bathing.

No curtains, tv didnot work, ac didn't work, hotel smelled, garbage outside door not emptied and smelled like body inside, really it should be largely refunded.

The hall ways smelled like cigarettes' and the bathroom will benefit from a renovation. Seems like they have long term guest in the property as well.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed at my fair share of cheap one night motels. The small things: the continental breakfast was little more than cereal and fruit, and the pool (which was maybe 20 feet long and went form 2 1/2 feet to 5 feet deep) was closed when I was there. For the room - it was in dire need of renovations and a makeover. The sheets and blankets had holes in them from cigarette burns, the AC needed a new filter and looked moldy, frayed and torn curtains, the bathtub looked like they’d just tried to paint over it with improper materials so it was peeling off in chunks, the bathroom ceiling appeared to have been poorly patched over numerous times, and the room in general needed a new paint job. The in room safe was falling apart, a disgustingly stained ironing board, the bathroom I doubt had been cleaned before I’ll checked in because there was an empty roll of toilet paper in there, and the mirror was still dirty looking. When I checked in, there had also been no towels so I had to go and get them from the front desk, the television did not work and when we asked about it, the man at the front desk said the sensor/box was behind the tv - we had to mess around with it for awhile ourselves to realize the connector wasn’t even plugged in. And how are you going to have a $100 deposit for a rook that’s half run down already and a two night stay is barely more than that? DO NOT STAY HERE.

Dirty, run down and disgusting and feels unsafe

Joanna at the front desk was friendly and informative. Otherwise, the place was stinky, run down and kinda nasty. The housekeeper was fine, the maintenance guy was unprofessional. I’d only stay again to save money not because I liked it here.

This was definitely NOT a remodeled hotel. There was paint on everything. There were no washcloths. The bed was hard as a rock. The air conditioner was loud. We were in a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke- whether it was from our room or the room next door I don’t know. The door to the outside of the hotel was broken (although it had a sign to keep it closed). There was no breakfast to be seen. There was also an unexpected $150 deposit on top of what we paid for the room.

Aboslutely disgusting whole ppace smells like mold tub is disgusting rooms have holes in ceilings and air conditiners are busted i couldnt even last 5 min in the room due to the odor. I walked right back out. Then had to wait four days to be able to speak with manager about a possible refund its been two weeks and they saif theyd refund me but i still dont have the money back.

I booked this hotel to visit my husband while he was on liberty from Camp Lejune and I was very unimpressed. When I first checked in, the woman at the front desk said she needed to see some ID for my husband because I used his credit card for the booking (I have never had to do that at any other hotel before). Then upon showing her my husband's ID, she commented about his appearance which I found to be very rude and made me very uncomfortable. Additionally, after getting checked in, I went to my room, which was in terrible condition. There were dirty towels in the room, the sheets were dirty and there were literally pubes in the shower! I went back to the front desk and asked if I could have someone clean my room, and the woman told me that housekeeping had already gone home for the day (at 4 pm). She then proceeded to switch my room which I was relieved for. When I got to the new room, it was just as bad, but after a 12-hour drive, I didn't have it in me to have to ask AGAIN for a clean room. The sheets were filthy and had burn holes in them. There wasn't even a fitted sheet on the mattress. The room was in terrible condition and there was rust on the fridge, the lights... basically any metal fixture in there had rust on it. Additionally the AC unit in our room was leaking with a bucket underneath it. Also, I was told that the deposit would be $50 and my husband's card was charged $100. The worst hotel I've ever gone to.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. From the moment I arrived, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, making me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. The biggest issue was cleanliness — the room was far from clean, with visible dirt and an unpleasant smell that made it hard to relax. Common areas weren’t any better, which made me question the hotel’s hygiene standards overall

This property was absolutely disgusting. When we got into our room there was dirt on the beds and on the mattresses under the sheets. One light bulb in the hole room worked besides the bathroom light. In the bathroom paint was chipping off the tub and the sink wouldn't shut off. We immediately left and checked out of the room. When checking out the front desk staff dismissed all the problems and really didn't listen to anything I said. She cut me off and said okay call Expedia for a refund have a good night and that was that.

My worst lodging experience! I have been traveling for so long and around the globe and this was as said, my worst experience. The first room I got was horrible, dirty, smelly and clearly showing lack of upkeep maintenance and a good cleaning. It looked like it had not been occupied in a long time. The TV did not work, dust everywhere and the old a/c equipment was so loud when on. After many attempts of trying to get the TV work I was given a different room. The new room was somewhat better but not as expected. It had no shower curtain nor soap and shampoo. The glass window with outside view looked covered with mold/mildew, and it had a piece of dirty wood attached to it to prevent it from opening. Totally unsanitary and horrible. As it was already late, I just had to accept it as is and get the one night sleep. At leas the a/c was not as loud as the one in the first room. To my fellow military bros and sis’s please do NOT stay there. Pay $10 or $20 more and stay on the Marine base lodge, well worth it! As for the front desk personnel, they were helpful and kind to help. But overall, this place should not be in business. It needs a total renovation and good cleaning staff!!! Our stay was okay. The lady working the desk was super nice. The hotel needs to be cleaned though. The hallway and the rooms are dirty. The halls haven't been vacuumed in a long time. Smells like weed. Our room was especially "not clean". Little hairs everywhere. Trash on the floor (empty) bottle under the bed. Empty hair gel jar on the floor behind the toilet. Paint peeling off the tub and blocking the drain. We were here on a fishing trip so, not a huge deal and the room was only $85 but still.... sweep the rooms, pick up the garbage. No soap in the shower. Had to go to the desk and ask for it. The bed was okay. The pillows are small. The AC works. Not unhappy just disappointed.

The staff was great, room was comfortable, could use updating and TV was blue and picture wasn't good. Bed could use more comfortable pillows. Overall we've stayed 4 different times and have no issue staying again.

There was only one towel and washcloth. No toilet paper in bathroom!! The shower was not good!! Wore shoes in it!! Sink didn’t look good. It needs an update badly!! Lamps have rust on them. Bed slept terribly.

All of the front desk associates were super friendly! Other than that it definitely wasn’t the best stay. I only had one towel the whole 3 days I was there. When I asked the housekeeper if I could have another one she said ok but I never got one. The tub was falling apart the bottom of the tub was peeling up and there was white pieces when I was trying to take a shower. The sheet on the bed kept coming off the mattress. And the air conditioner was so loud that I had to turn the tv up high. The flooring was nice

Unfortunately, the room wasn't in great shape. The resurfacing of the tub needs to be fixed. I didn't even shower as to no have that on my feet. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train coming so no air. The sheets had pilling which is not appealing at all when you really need a good nights rest. Slept in clothes. Overall not a recommended location if the rooms are like this. I took pictures of everything because it was that bad.

The room smelled really bad, and the tub was chipping as well as the sink. The TVs are very outdated too.

Door wouldn't lock probably

Front desk lady was absolutely terrific. Came to my room on 2 occasions to help me with TV

One worker (a woman) walked into our room at 11:30pm looking for the second luggage dolly. My husband and I were exhausted from a long day of traveling and we just thought if we returned the luggage dolly early in the morning it wouldn’t be an issue. But she just barged right in.

The added fees should be presented to the customer before arrival to the hotel. All lights in room should work....not just half....i wouldnt stay here again.

Arrived to check in and front desk tried to make me pay a deposit that I was previously told I would not have to pay. When I argued this they said they would refund my money so I could go somewhere else. It’s been 2 weeks and still haven’t received the refund and they will not respond

Room: Top blankets had burn holes in them. Floor had food wrappers pushed under table. Microwave had stuck on food bits & grease splatters inside. Window track filled with curtain hangers, trash, dirt clumps. Bathroom: Dirty and toilet seat didn't actually go with the toilet. Tub was cracked & chipped. Shower head looked to not have been cleaned/serviced in years. Toilet paper was stuffed into the door bumper guard. Door & frame (inside bathroom) had brown/tan streaks running down the total length as well has black dirt collected where hands are commonly placed. Staff: Front desk were very pleasant to talk to and work with. Housekeeping was very irritable and reluctant to fix up room. Entered with a broom & cloth, had us step out and left 2 minutes after. Only food wrappers were cleaned up. Was very surprised of the $150 deposit during check-in. It was not listed on the site or when making the reservations. Overall: Will not stay there again.

Excellent and helpful staff! All shifts :) Clean, professional, forward-thinking, accommodable, all with excellence in putting a guests needs first, even acts in mediation of things that can ruin a stay! One of my most favored of places because of the staff, chosen.

Would not allow daughter to check-in although I made reservation and my credit card was charged for room. She had to go to other hotel. Haven't received refund

It’s convenient bc of all the stores and restaurants. There’s also a Walmart right there. But the overall experience was horrible. When I first got there to check in they said my reservation had been canceled and they apparently tried calling me. Which they did not. The first room we were in the light switch didn’t work and there was a huge leak in the bathroom. So ya I got soaked from that. Then they gave us another room and it did not smell very pleasant at all. We went for the 4th of July to spend the holiday with our son who is at Camp Geiger and I really wish our stay was better than what it was.

Excellent staff and great listeners when unexpected events show up, they know what to do! :)

Hardwood floors and easy to get to room.

Pro: Cheap, friendly staff, clean sheets, great location Con: Needs renovation, extremely noisy, lights in the room didn’t work. The room had this old smell to it. The blanket looked dirty with cigarette holes in it. More information about the property in regards to a $100 deposit needs to be share with customer. This deposit will be given bck to you in 5-7 business days after they inspect your room to make sure you left it like you found it. Overall, the friendly staff & location makes me give this hotel a 3 stars. I drove 9 hrs to pick my son & needed the place for only one night. It was a Saturday so it was expected to be noisy but not as noisy as it was with people running around in the hallways or loud music coming from the above room. If you are traveling with the family, spend the extra cash for a better suitable place….. If you are traveling alone & tired & don’t care about how the room looks & want to save an extra $30 to $50 bucks for the night, this is the place to stay for one night.

Cozy & in walking distance to anything you can think of. Wal-mart, food places, both locally owned, & popular names USA/Abroad! Excellent staff that is always available to answer any questions or accommodate any need! :) I would recommend!

I stayed here to visit family. The bed was comfortable and staff friendly while there was a snag with the deposit it was promptly corrected by live people (and not automated nonsense.)

Was a very needed quiet evening

They advertised "breakfast included", however, the juice machine was broken, the waffle maker was not even plugged in, no batter in dispenser anyway. No fruit, just cold cereals (2) and micro-mini muffins limited to one per guest. Coffee on breakfast room, none in room.

Beware of $150 deposit!! Was not aware of it until check in and then stuck or loose what I had paid for the room. No bucket for ice. TV didn’t work even after they came and looked at it. Limited muffins a breakfast and few options. This place is a joke!

Everything was really good only the breakfast was not as described on the pictures . But every thing was good

Property was very clean, inside and out. All staff was very pleasant and courteous. Also, the Continental breakfast was an added bonus.

The best thing was the price but the breakfast did not have eggs and the choices were limited
