This was one of the most miserable stays that I can recall in a number of years. The hotel did not let anyone know that it was under renovation. The entire hotel smells like tobacco smoke. Stomping all night above my room after letting desk attendant know...Will never stay here again and will not recommend to anyone...

It's been something both times. The 1st time our shower didn't work. We had to go next door to shower. This time the Air didn't work and even after changing rooms it was one thing after another. The staff is great and none of these things were their fault, except the razors and hair left in the second room. I digress. The Staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel needs some upgrades tho.

Very noisy. Significant maintenance issues. Burned out light bulbs in the room. Lost electricity 2 times, once for several hours. Hotel doesn't have a backup generator system. Weird smell throughout.

The workers there are so kind and helpful especially with my issue booking through Expedia. But the room was very musty smelling and not the nicest in terms of the walls being dirty and the facilities a bit outdated.

Friendly staff. Carpet in room was disgusting I didn’t want to take my shoes off Couch was equally disgusting I would not sit on it. Roaches, we killed a few. Beds were nice. No fan in bathroom. Disappointed

NEVER again! We had to change rooms twice. The first one, the door didn’t shut fully or lock. The second one smelled VERY strongly of ammonia, and there was a huge water/mold stain above the bed. The third room was tolerable

The rooms are filthy, nasty and disgusting! We had room 313 and the carpet was stained horribly. After being in the room for 20 minutes I couldn’t stand it any longer so I went to the front desk and asked for a clean room . I was given a key to a 2nd floor room and she said see if that’s better . She must have known they are all dirty. I went by that room and it was almost as bad as the first! The sofa was disgusting and I wouldn’t even sit on it . Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else! I wouldn’t stay here if it were free !

The first room we were put in had a horrible smell and a cockroach crawling on the ceiling. The room we were moved to smelled better but there was a wolf spider waiting for us. We wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

My room wasn’t like the photo it shows in the website The front desk lady was super nice and welcoming I asked he for a little check out she had no problem with that Outdated hotel but for the price was good the insulation is not good you can hear outside noise and kids in the hallway but agin for the price is good

I stayed inroom 215, king suite with handicap access. The shower head was so short i had to duck my head 12" to be below th water. I am 6 foot tall and have never had an issue like that before. No streaming ability for the tv. Room is great other than that

We were very happy with our stay. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed a quiet night's sleep. We were very happy with having a full size refrigerator, dishwasher and pots and pans at our convenience if we wanted a meal in our room. I was not told upfront there was an extra charge of over $100 on each of my rooms. I only knew by checking my online banking the next morning. When I questioned another person at the desk I was told I should not have been charged and the charges would drop off. That is not the point to be holding $200 of my money. As I explained to the desk that could have been all my vacation $ for all they knew. I was told I could call my bank and have it released again I could but I shouldn't have to. The couch was stained up and the sheets had something black on it and when I tried to brush it off it smeared. I think it came from the ac unit. The coffee table in the center of the room the legs were wobbly. We had to get assistance to even get the tv to come on. Not a terrible place to stay just needs updating and need to be upfront about fees.

The staff was super nice place was as expected! My issue nothing mentioned about $35 charge for my dog until I was checking in , sure I could have said no but I was already there and didn't have another option! This should have been noted when I made reservation because I listed my dog!

I will definitely be staying here again. I was really impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff are. The hotel may not be the newest but it was very clean and welcoming. No breakfast included but it’s located in an adjoining parking area with Dennys. Large outdoor seating area to enjoy your morning coffee which was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel (and it’s free, lol).

The lady that checked us in was so wonderful! We had just had an awful experience at the hotel we had originally booked and she sure made our feelings about Jacksonville change. She was so friendly and smiled and made us feel welcome.. the hotel was good and the bed was comfortable.. highly recommend..

Pros: Great Staff, Good location, little room but good for two, the price here is great, very clean and in good driving distance for restaurants in Jacksonville. Cons: The fridge on our stay was super loud throughout the night which was annoying. No free breakfast, and location on very busy highway. Outside of this overall good stay.

The hotel looks nice from the outside. The place was very clean. They had old stained furnitures in the room. There was an odor in the hallways along with it being very hot. A roach was in the closet. We reported it and the manager came to spray. He was very nice and apologized but another came from the kitchen area. Im going to try another hotel. It was ok fir the price. Close to alot of stores/restaurants
