Room was clean. Elevator was broken.

Was fine but their pool needs attention the concrete area around it the was gobs of hair laying everywhere. The chairs around pool needs replacing. Plus the $50 deposit was crap. Plus the one outlet between the beds by the light was completely broken and not even intact anymore.

Hotel is in good conditions, breakfast can be better, no beacon or sausages, either scrambled eggs, my room keys wasn't working, l have to go downstairs 3 times to get my door open,until somebody come to fix it,in my last day, pool wasn't clean,guy said we have to wait haf and hrs to get clean, and it was 10 o'clock already,apart from that everything was excellent.

Stayed 2 nights in July 2024. The property and room were very clean, the room was comfortable. The A/C worked great, and there was plenty of water pressure and hot water. The staff that we interacted with were very courteous. I would stay here again, but there were two issues that kept this from a 5 star rating. The first is that the ice machines were not working. In the middle of July, seriously? An ice machine on every floor (3) and one in the lobby, and NOT ONE of them worked. The second issue was the smell off marijuana smoke in the elevator and hallways. I don't know if this was from employees or guests, but it was very disturbing, particularly in light of the fact that it's a non smoking hotel, and there were signs everywhere to that effect. So - a nice hotel, courteous staff, but a couple of troubling issues.

It was a very rainy week end and there was no car port to park under to get people in and out of my truck , you got soaked in the process. Parking was tight specially when you drive a full size pickup

Everything was good besides not having hot water

The hotel was newer and the staff was great. However when we first got there the hotel was out of hot water. We did not have hot water for several days. We were told they were working on getting it repaired but that the whole facility was out of hot water. We had intermittent hot water. Spoke to the GM she refunded us one night out of the 6 night stay we had.

Nice property. The problem is lack of hot water. The property has too many rooms to have issues with hot water.

Room was ok. They are doing work to the hotel which is fine . The main issue is we had zero hot water all 4 nights. It was not just our room but the hotel. They said we would be compensated but didn’t see that either . They were trying to fix it but it didn’t get fixed during our stay and was still down when we checked out. It was rough w zero hot water. Plus when they tried to fix we had zero water as they had it off . Prolly the worst issue to have at a hotel. It was cold outside so that made it worse

Everything was great, except for the water temperature. The shower never got hot, only warm.

Rooms were clean, a/c worked well, friendly staff. I’d definitely stay there again. Shampoo bottle in the bathroom needed to be refilled. That would be my only negative and very minor. We left very early in the morning but we’re still able to grab some breakfast items.

Place was clean, spacious, and everything worked well. Super fast internet, which was PERFECT and exactly what I was looking for. Staff and management were awesome. Would book there again.

Boogers on the inside of the shower curtain and drops of blood on the ground outside the bathroom door. I wish I was lying.

Upon arrival the manager was very welcoming. The room was clean and it just felt great until then night time I got bit my bed bugs! I reported to the front desk heavy set lady and she was so clueless on what to do. I was very patient with her so she can figure out how to deal with it she told me she would call me back hours went by I had to call her back and she lied and said she tried calling but don't know what happened remind you this I'm calm I said ok I asked to speak with a manger reming you this was over the weekend fast forward I make a call to the manager and he reported to me they could not extend my stay very confused my husband goes to have a conversation turns to find out the same woman that was clueless on what to do lied and said I was yelling at her and hung up on her and was combative I became so upset that this person would lie I wanted to confront her but I just let it go because we had 1 more night with the hotel. No way I was rebooking again after that incident.BEWARE!

Super clean, but simple, bare bones hotel but it had everything I needed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was typical but good. I wasn't crazy about the wet dog smell in the hallway or my room. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Upon arrival room smalled of water/mold. Day 3 killed giant cockroach..

Shower curtain and carpet had stains on them, had to change my room because it smelled like there was a dog inside previously. Carpet had a smell. Dirty rug in the elevator.

Bathroom was dirty. Stains on sheets. Smells funky.

Very surprised how clean and well run for the price point. Friendly accommodating staff, breakfast area spotlessly clean, room service with fresh towels! I applaud management and employees highly recommend........

Great stay for a quick over night in Jacksonville… hallways were noisy starting super early in the morning… but otherwise, very quiet!

Check in and check out was easy. The room was a good size however the walls are very thin. Our room was on the second floor and we heard everything, inside as well as out. If you're looking for a cheap party hotel with no quiet hours, stay here. If you are looking for a quiet hotel for the family, keep looking. The location was decent but will not stay here again nor recommend.

Room is small but clean, efficient and has everything one needs for an overnight stay. I left the fan on the AC on all night to block out hallway noise. Close to many restaurants, businesses and services. 10 minutes from main gate of Camp Lejeune.

A little noisy at times during the night…..both outside and inside the building, but not a bad stay for less than $100.

Small room. Small countertop in the bathroom. There is no hanger to hang the hand towels and or bath towels. Small "table". Clean room and bathroom. Great staff. Good location. Many restaurants close by.

Newer facility, very clean and just what you need, no more. Needs more sound insulation or different furniture placement. Beds are headboard to headboard on the very thin wall. Might as well share the room with Nextdoor

Rooms are small and out of two ice machines, neither of them worked

It was a nice stay, the beds were harder than I liked but it was still good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in and out very quickly, and with ease. The property was kept very clean, and there breakfast had plenty of options for those looking to save and eat before they head out! Great weekend getaway!

The front desk manager, Gabriel was very kind and advised us that the elevator was not working and that he would give us a discount. We were there because my sister is in the hospital and we learned on Saturday that we needed to stay another day and so I contacted the hotel to book another day and asked if the discount would be applied to that day since the elevator is not working and I was advised through a service rep that she spoke to the general manager, who stated that she would not be providing any discount since we decided to stay. I then received a call from the front desk, who said that the general manager would give us a $10 discount? I find it very disheartening , that a general manager would not have the ability or fortitude to provide a discount for services that we did not receive. We are both senior citizens and had to travel up and down the stairs of the elevator not working. Because of the experience and the message that was relayed to me from the general manager, who still has not contacted me, I do not foresee us ever staying at Microtel again. kindness is free. Stay without elevators is not and the general manager should have accommodated for the lack of accommodations.

Secret gem !!! Comfy beds. Great staff. I will be a returning guest!! I truly fell in love with the lady who served the breakfast!! She was a true beauty of customer service!! Thank you for all you guys did to ensure the comfort of my family and myself.

We only stayed over night but the staff here made us feel like family. We stayed here on our way to drop our son off to his next schooling with the Marines. They were so accommodating, gave us a late check out, and even after we checked out let us come back and opened a room so our son could change into his uniform. When you do training this needs to be the staff that does the training. Everyone we encountered during our time here has been so welcoming and making sure all of our needs are met. We WILL definitely be back to stay here given the opportunity. Thank you.

Great staff

My stay was very short. However, staff was nice. The place is very clean. The location is perfect. Food places are literally down the street and a Walmart Supercenter across the street from the location. Price was reasonable to say the least. If I ever come back to Jacksonville, this where I'm staying.

Small kitchen area for eating breakfast, but had everything we needed. close to the base.

Great staff at check in and check out. Quick overnight stay but when back in the area, will definitely stay again. Close to everything you need but far enough away to get some quiet time and relax

I checked in very late and stayed one night so I was unable to really give an adequate review. From what I encountered, the only negative was a dirty mat in the elevator which is an easy fix and the area across from the front of the property was sketchy. Plus the hotel was hard to locate at night since set back. Maybe better lit signage off the highway?

My first time booking with this hotel and it was so lovely. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed the stay while he was home from tech school. No complaints, the staff were very friendly, the room was VERY CLEAN. They made sure we had fresh everything every morning before and after we leave for the day. 10/10 recommended

I was pleasantly surprised since this hotel was alot cheaper than others in the area. Just wish the breakfast ran later. Most people staying in hotels are on vacation and don't get up early

Overalll good stay. Rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast was good, but beware it says it is served till 9 am but they are putting things away and not restocking anything by 8:30 am and breakfast lady was not to friendly.

My room was clean but a little muggy. Opened a window and it was fine. I wiped everything down with wipes, even the bathroom floor, and was surprised by how clean it was. For a quick and last minute stay, I have no complaints. Nice little breakfast with waffles and such. Didn’t like how the tables were right in front of the workers tho.
